काकस्पर्श - एक विलक्षण प्रेमकहाणी

या सिनेमाची गोष्ट आहे स्वातंत्र पूर्व काळातील. सिनेमा हरी दामले आणि त्याच्या कुटुंबियां भोवताली व त्यांच्या आयुष्यात घडणाऱ्या गोष्टींबद्दल आहे. बहुतेक सिनेमा हा फ्लॅशबॅक मधेच आहे. आई-वडिलांचे निधन झाल्यानंतर, हरी दामले हा दामले कुटुंबियाचा कर्ता पुरुष असतो. पत्नी तारा, दोन मुली, एक मुलगा संकर्षण असा त्याचा परिवार असतो. घरात वकिली शिकणारा भाऊ महादेव, विधवा बहिण, नमुआत्या असा मोठा परिवार असतो. कोकणात बरीच जमीन आणि बागायत असते. हरी दामले याचा गावात देखील बराच मान असतो. तो तसा नवमतवादि असतो. नवनवीन संकल्पना तो उचलून धरत असतो, बरेचदा इतर लोकांचा रोष ओढवून देखील. हरीचा एक खूप जिवलग मित्र असतो, बळवंत फडके. हा सदैव देशाला स्वातंत्र कसे मिळेल याकरिता काम करत असतो. याच गावात उपाध्ये नावाचा एक ब्राह्मण असतो, ज्याचे हरी दामले बरोबर बरेच मतभेद असतात. शिवाय उपाध्ये हा एक अतिशय कर्मठ आणि जुन्या चालीरीती न सोडणारा, असा ब्राह्मण असतो.

वकिली शिकणारा भाऊ महादेव हा मुंबईला शिकत असतो. आता महादेव लग्नाचा झाला असल्याने, हरीदादा त्याच्या साठी स्थळ शोधतात. बळवंतच्या मध्यस्थीने, महादेवसाठी एक उत्तम स्थळ मिळते. मुलीचे नाव दुर्गा, दुर्गा चुणचुणीत, हुशार आणि चांगल्या गळ्याची, गोड गाणी म्हणणारी  असते. लग्न व्यवस्थित पार पडते. मुलगी वयात आलेली नसते, त्यामुळे अजून महादेव आणि दुर्गा यांचा तसा संसार सुरु झालेला नसतो. त्यात महादेवची परीक्षा जवळ येते त्यामुळे तो मुंबईला प्रयाण करतो. दुर्गा, जिचे नाव आता महादेवने उमा ठेवलेले असते, ती दामलेंच्या घरात रुळते. थोड्याच दिवसात उमा वयात येते, त्यानिमित्त्याने करण्यात येणाऱ्या गर्भादान / फलसंशोधन सोहळ्यासाठी महादेवला पाचारण करण्यात येते. महादेव मुंबईहून येतो खरा, पण त्याची तब्येत खूपच बिघडलेली असते. पूजेला देखील तो ग्लानीत असतो. त्याच दिवशी पहिल्या रात्री, उमाच्या जवळ पलंगावर त्याचे प्राणोत्क्रमण होते.

महादेवच्या मृत्यूने सगळ्या घरावर शोककळा पसरते. उमाच्या दु:खाला पारावार उरत नाही. १० व्या दिवशी पिंडदान करण्यासाठी हरी आणि गावातील इतर ब्राह्मण नदीकाठी जातात. परंतु पिंडाला कावळा शिवत नाही. सगळे लोक म्हणायला लागतात कि दर्भाचा कावळा करून पिंडाला शिवावावा, ही एकच शास्त्रात सांगितलेली पळवाट आहे. पण हरीदादाला ते मान्य नसते. हरी पिंडाच्या जवळ जाऊन काही तरी म्हणतो आणि त्याबरोबर पिंडाला कावळा शिवतो. आता दहा दिवस झाल्याने, उमाला सोवळी करण्याचा घाट घातला जातो. उमा खूप रडते, प्रतिकार करते, पण तिचे कोणी ऐकत नाही. नमुआत्या आणि तारा तिला जबरदस्तीने, नाव्ह्याच्या समोर देऊन बसवतात, तितक्यात हरीदादा पिंडदान करून परत येतो. घरातील प्रसंग बघून तो रागावतो आणि म्हणतो की उमाचे केस कापले जाणार नाहीत. गावातील सगळे लोक खूप टीका करतात. सगळ्या ब्राह्मण सभेमधून याचा प्रतिकार केला जातो. दामलेंच्या घरावर बहिष्कार टाकला जातो. पण तरीही हरी उमाला संरक्षण करण्यास मागेपुढे बघत नाही.

घरातील लोकांना हरीचे हे वागणे आवडत नाही, पण त्याला कोणी प्रत्यक्ष दर्शी विरोध करू शकत नाही. हरीला उमा आवडते आणि हरी त्यामुळेच उमाचे रक्षण करतो असे बरेच लोक बोलू लागतात. त्यात हरीची बायको तारा ही आजारी पडते. तारा आजारी पडल्यावर उमा घरातील सगळी जबाबदारी उचलते. अंथरुणावर खिळल्यावर ताराला देखील उमा आणि हरीच्या संबधाबद्दल शंका येऊ लागते. त्यातच तिचे निधन होते. मृत्युशय्येवर असताना, ती हरीला उमाशी लग्न करण्याचा सल्ला देते. पण हरी तसे करत नाही. गावातील लोकांच्या काहीबाही बोलण्यावर पडदा पडावा म्हणून, हरी त्याच्या मुलाचे लग्न करून देतो व घरात दुसरी बाई आल्याने, लोकांच्या वाईट बोलण्याला पट्टी बसते.  तर असे दिवस जात असताने, उमाच्या मनाला खूप यातना होत असतात, तिला हे आयुष्य नकोसे होते आणि ती जेवण करणे सोडते. तिच्या मरणासन्न अवस्थेत हरी तिच्या बोलतो, पिंडदानाच्या वेळेस बोललेले सत्य उमास सांगतो. ते सत्य काय असते, उमा आणि हरीच्या मनात एकमेकांबद्दल काय भावना असतात हे बघा "काकस्पर्श" या सिनेमामध्ये.

सिनेमा खूप सुंदर आहे. तसे बघितले तर अगदी सामान्य गोष्ट खूप सुंदर रीतीने सांगण्यात आली आहे. सिनेमा बघितल्यावर खरोखरच "एक विलक्षण प्रेमकहाणी" असे का म्हटले आहे ते कळते. सगळे कलाकार उत्तम आहेत. एकूण सेट, आणि चित्रण बघून आपण खरोखरच पूर्वीच्या काळातील कोकणात जातो. सिनेमा बघावा असाच आहे. पूर्वीच्या तरुण विधवा स्त्रीच्या व्यथा बघून जीव गलबलतो. सगळे कलाकार उत्तम. सिनेमाचा शेवट खूपच अनपेक्षित आहे. सिनेमात लहान मुलांनी बघू नये असा एकही सीन नाही, पण सिनेमा थोडा गंभीर आहे त्यामुळे लहान मुलांबरोबर न बघितलेला बरा.

This movie story line is set in pre-independent India. This is a story of Hari Damale and his family. Most of the story is in flashback. Hari Damale is taking care of his family after his parents, as they die early. His family consists of his wife Tara, two daughters and one son Sankarshan, his brother Mahadev who is studying law in Mumbai, and his widow sister, Namuatya. He owns farm land and orchards in konkan. He is well respected person in the village. He is a forward thinking person and pushes for change, at times even with some resistance from others. Balavant Phadake is his best friend. Balavant is involved actively in freedom fight. Another person in the village Upadhyay is not in good terms with Hari, reason being his orthodox and ritual nature. Upadhyay does not like Hari's modern thinking.

Mahadev, his brother is pursuing his law degree in Mumbai. Hari decides to get his brother married, since Mahadev has reached right age for marriage. Balavant gets a very good contact for the same. Durga is a bright young girl in his distant relation. Durga also knows singing and he thinks that Durga and Mahadev are perfect match. The marriage goes on well, he names Durga as Uma. Mahadev returns to Mumbai alone, since Durga is young yet, she is not sent with her. Mahadev also needs to concentrate on his exams and studies. Uma is getting used to the new place and people. She attains puberty and a ritual of Garbhadaan is planned. Mahadev has to be present for the same and he is called from Mumbai. Mahadev returns form Mumbai but with high fever. He manages to take part in the rituals, but during night his health deteriorates and he dies. 

Mahadev's death is a big shock for the whole family. Uma is the biggest victim. The rituals take place according to the traditions. In the Pindadaan ritual, Hari and others wait for long time for crows to touch the Pinda. There are rituals to avoid this ritual, but Hari is not in favor of making a false grass crow to do away with. Finally Hari goes to scene and promises something, and within few minutes crows come to eat the Pinda. At home, the ritual of Uma has to begin. Her head has to be shaved off as a widow. Namuatya is forcing Uma to shave her head, with help of a barber. Fortunately Hari returns in time, and saves Uma from this. He also announces that Uma will not have to shave her head. This attracts lot of criticism in the village, since this is not according to custom of the times. The village Brahman Sabha decides to stop any transactions with Hari's household.

Hari's family is disturbed, but they are not in a position to resist Hari. People started saying that Hari is in love with Uma and that is the reason he is protecting her. After few months of this tension, Tara gets sick. Uma is mature lady now and she really takes care of the house well. Tara too starts doubting the relationship between Hari and Uma. In her final moments, Tara requests Hari to marry Uma after her death, but Hari refuses. After Tara's death, Hari quickly gets his sone married, so that another lady comes to the house. This avoids people doubting his and Uma's relationships. But all these tense years in Uma's life take toll on her mental health. She is really fed up with her life and decides to die by stopping food. She gets really weak, and finally in those moments Hari tells her the reason he has been behaving like that, and what was the promise he made at the time on Pindadaan. The delicate relationship between Hari and uma is really shown very well in Kaaksparsha.

This movie is done very well with a very simple story. This is really a unusual love story. All the actors have done a very good job. The whole productions and set locations are really good and well matching with the story line and Konkan of the times. This a must watch movie and touching because of the problems ladies faced during that times. The movie ends in a very unexpected way. Movie is children friendly but could be bit taxing due to serious story line.

तीन पत्ती (Teen Patti)

व्यंकट सुब्रम्हण्यम हे एका कॉलेजात गणिताचे प्रोफेसर असतात. यांचा प्रॉबॅबलिटीवर काही संशोधन सुरु असते. पण जर वेळेस पेपर पाठवला कि तो परत येतो. त्यांचा पेपर प्रसिध्ध होत नाही. आणि त्यांची निवृत्त होण्याची वेळ पण जवळ आली असते. असेच एक दिवस विचार करताना त्यांना काही गोष्टी सुचतात. आणि त्याचा प्रयोग म्हणून ते जुगारात त्याचा वापर कसा होऊ शकतो हे त्यांच्याच डीपार्टमेंटमधील एका तरुण प्रोफेसर शांतनूला सांगतात. शांतनूला व्यंकट सरांबद्दल आदर असतो. व्यंकटच्या मते या थेयरी प्रमाणे, तो जुगारातील खेळात कोण जिंकणार हे ठरवू शकतो. शांतनू म्हणतो कि हि थेयरी जर आपल्याला पडताळून बघायची असेल तर आपण खरच अड्ड्यावर जायला हवे.

त्यांचा शोध समजावून सांगायला त्यांना अजून ४ लोकांची गरज असते. त्यासाठी शांतनू ४ विद्यार्थ्यांना घेऊन येतो. आता या ४ विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मदतीने नक्की कोण जिंकणार हे ठरवता येणार असते. आता सगळे लोक जुगार खेळताना एकमेकांशी कसे बोलणार, म्हणून ते आपापसात एक संकेतांची भाषा ठरवतात. व्यंकटची थेयरी पडताळून बघण्यासाठी मग ते जुगाराच्या अड्ड्यावर जातात. काही खेळानंतर त्यांना कळते कि व्यंकट यांची जी काय पद्धत आहे ती बरोबर आहे. मग सगळ्याच लोकांना पैशे मिळणार याची आशा निर्माण होते आणि पैश्याच्या मोहात सगळे म्हणतात कि आपण आता कायमच जुगार खेळायला जाऊ. व्यंकट सरांना हे मान्य नसते. ते म्हणतात कि मी हा जो शोध घेतला आहे तो फक्त रिसर्च आहे आणि त्यासाठी आपण पुरेसे पडताळे घेतले आहेत. आता आपण जुगाराच्या अड्ड्यावर जाणे बंद करू. पण यांच्या टीम मधल्या सगळ्या लोकांचा जुगाराची नशा चढलेली असते. सगळे म्हणतात कि आपण खेळायचेच, त्यात व्यंकटला काही धमकीचे फोन येऊ लागतात. कि तुम्ही जुगार खेळायला जायलाच हवे नाहीतर तुमच्या सगळ्या विद्यार्थ्यांबद्दल कॉलेज मध्ये तक्रार करू. या धमकीमुळे व्यंकट त्या चक्रात पडतात. ते जितके जितके या चक्रातून बाहेर यायचा प्रयत्न करतात, तितके तितके ते त्यात फसत जातात.

शेवटी, व्यंकट या चक्रातून बाहेर पडतात का, त्यांना जुगार खेळायला भाग कोण पाडत असतो, हे बघा तीन पत्ती या सिनेमा मध्ये.

सिनेमा ठीक आहे. मुख्य म्हणजे या सिनेमातील गोष्ट अगदी नेहमीच्या पठडीतील नाहीये. हा सिनेमा कुठल्यातरी इंग्लिश सिनेमावर आधारित आहे असे कळले. शेवटी शेवटी नक्की कोण या सगळ्यामागचा सूत्रधार आहे हे आपण ओळखू शकतो. सिनेमा संपूर्ण फ्लॅशबॅक मधेच आहे. फक्त शेवट वर्तमानात आहे. आणि शेवट देखील अनपेक्षित आहे. अमिताभ या सिनेमात नेहमीसारखाच बेस्ट. माधवन पण त्याच्या भूमिकेत छान दिसतो आहे. सिनेमातील गाणी इतकी चांगली नाही. एकूण सिनेमा ठीक आहे बघावाच असा नाही. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया अवश्य लिहा.

Venkat Subramaniam is a mathamatics professor doing research on Probability theory. For some reason, none of his papers are getting published even though he is very senior and nearing retirement. He is bit frustrated about this and is thinking about his probability research all the time. He struck some ideas about how it can be used in gambling. He discusses these ideas with a young professor called Shantanu. Shantanu had very high respect for Prof. Venkat Subramaniam so he listens to the theory very attentively which can predict the winner a gambling bid. He suggests Prof. Venkat, that it needs to be validated in real life and they should try it out in a casino.

To validate this properly, they need a team of six people totally. So Shantanu inducts four students in this experiment. They decide and practice a convention on communicating among themselves without talking and being noticed too. Then they go to a local casino to practically test the theory. In a very short time they discover that the theory is perfect. They make decent money from their maiden attempt. But this spoils their conscious and all start thinking of making some extra bucks using this discovery. They plan on going to casino regularly to make money. But Prof. Venkat is not in favor of this. He makes it clear to all the team that this was meant to be an experiment and we are done with it. Let us stop the business of visiting casinos. But Prof. Venkat gets some anonymous phones threatening his students if he does not go to casinos again, and he finally bows to that. He tries hard to retaliate or escape, but he goes on tangling more into it.

This movies is good, with exceptions of some things out of the place. This is based on a famous Hollywood movie, which claims to be based on true life story of a professor and students in MIT and the game of blackjack. The mystery dissolves towards the end, before they reveal it in the movie, and we can guess who is the culprit. Amitabh Bacchan is very good as usual. Madhavan is acted well too. The songs have not very famous, but in general a movie you might enjoy. Please do give your comments.

सचिन आणि झरामूद असे दोघे मित्र सीम कार्डाचे डुप्लिकेट कार्ड करण्याचा धंदा करत असतात. सीम कार्ड सॉफ्टवेअर वापरून डुप्लिकेट करायचे आणि मग कितीही फोन केले तरी, तुम्हाला काहीच बिल न येत, ओरिजिनल फोन ज्याच्या नावावर असेल त्याला खूप बिल येत असे. या धंद्यात ओळखीच्या माणसाला कार्ड डुप्लिकेट करून द्यायचा नाही असा यांचा दंडक होता. पण एकदा, यांनी एका ग्राहकाला कार्ड दिले, त्याने खूप फोन केले आणि फोनचे बिल ९ लाख आले. त्यामुळे टेलेफोन कंपनीने या दोघांच्या विरुध्ध तक्रार नोंदवली. पोलीस यांच्या मागे लागले, पोलिसांना चुकविताना, यांनी एक नवीन कोरी मर्सिडिस पळवली पण ती गाडी या दोघांना चालवता न आल्याने तिचा जबरदस्त अपघात झाला. अर्थात हे दोघेहि वाचले पण गाडीचा अगदीच चक्काचूर झाला. आता या दोघांच्या नशिबाने, ही गाडी नेमकी एका भाईची होती.

या भाईला सगळे जण एजीम म्हणत असतात. सचिन आणि झारामूद पोलिसांचा ससेमिरा तर टाळतात, पण एजीम त्यांना पकडतो. त्यांना म्हणतो कि माझे खूप नुकसान झाले आहे, त्याची भरपाई म्हणून तुम्हाला माझ्यासाठी पैसे वसुलीचे काम करावे लागेल. दोघांना पण हे काम काही आवडत नाही, पण काय करणार. यांच्या कडे दुसरा काहीच उपाय नसतो.

असेच पैसे वसूल करायला यांना दिल्लीला पाठवण्यात येते. दोघेही मस्त छान हॉटेल मध्ये राहतात. हॉटेल मध्ये काम करणारी मनेजर पूजा सचिनची चांगली मैत्रीण होते. सचिनचे एक स्वप्नं असते की एक खूप छान कॉफी जॉईंट उघडायचा. तो त्याचे स्वप्नं पूजाला सांगतो आणि तिला पण त्यातल्या भागीदारीत इंटरेस्ट असतो. पण हे सगळ करायला पैसे नसतात. आणि आता तर दुसऱ्यासाठी पैसे गोळा करायला बाहेर जाणे इतकाच उद्योग झालेला असतो.

असेच पैसे गोळा करायला ते एकदा राहुल नावाच्या व्यक्तीकडे जातात. आता या राहुलची वेगळीच स्टोरी असते. राहुलची एक थेयरी असते. की सगळ्यांचे नशीब सारखेच असते. पण पुढे काय होणार आहे हे जर का तुम्हाला मिळणाऱ्या संकेतांवरून तुम्ही निर्णय घेतले तर तुमचे नशीब बदलू शकते. आणि असे संकेत सारखे मिळत असतात. याला भारताच्या क्रिकेट टीमवर बेटिंग करायला खूप आवडत असते. त्याची बायको त्याच्या बेटिंगच्या सवयीवरून आणि त्याबाबत तिच्याशी फसवणूक केल्यावरून सोडून जाते. हा एका सॉफ्टवेअर कंपनी मध्ये नोकरी करत असतो. पण बेटिंग मुळे कफल्लक झालेला असतो.

बेटिंग करण्यासाठी पैसे हवे असतात म्हणून हा एजीम कडे जातो, पैसे हरतो आणि मग एजीम त्याच्या कडे सचिन आणि झरामूदला पाठवतात. इथेच या तिघांचे सूर जुळतात. तिघेही तसे बघितले तर चांगल्या मनोवृत्तीचे असतात. पण परिस्थितीमुळे आणि काही वाईट सवयींमुळे या सगळ्या लफड्यात अडकलेले असतात. शेवटी राहुल या दोघांना पटवतो की जर आपण क्रिकेट मध्ये बेट लावली तर सगळे पैसे परत मिळवू शकू आणि मग आपण पुढे हे सगळे वाईट धंदे सोडून देऊन सुखाने आयुष्य जगू. मग पुढे या तिघांना यश येते का? त्यात काय अडचणी येतात ? हे बघा "९९ पार्ट फक्त पार्ट फिक्शन प्युअर फन मध्ये.

सुरवातीला या सिनेमात नक्की काय चाललाय ते समजत नाही. पण सिनेमा नंतर ग्रीप घेतो. बोमन इराणी सगळ्यात बेस्ट. सिनेमा बघायला हरकत नाही असा आहे, पण बघावाच असा निश्चित नाही. महेश मांजरेकर तितकासा प्रभाव पाडू शकलेला नाही. काही काही ठिकाणी तर याची अक्टिंग अगदीच फालतू वाटते. प्युअर फन असे जरी टायटल असले, तरी सिनेमा इतका काही विनोदी वाटला नाही. म्हणजे निखळ मनोरंजन झाले नाही.

Sachin and Zaramud are two childhood friends now running a duplicate SIM cards business. The business model involves duplicating a working SIM card using some software and hardware tools and to sell to customers. They will use the SIM to make any number of phone calls without any charge and the calls will be billed to the original phone owner. The business is going on very well and they are enjoying it. One of the rules they had in business was not to sell these cards to strangers. But one day thinking of making more money, they sell a card to a stranger. He made unlimited calls to foreign countries and the bill amount came out to be 900 thousand rupees. The customer gave a written complaint to police and the company. Police started looking for people behind this fraud, and reach the shop from where Sachin and Zaramud are operating the business. In the process of destroying the stuff and running away, they steal a new Mercedes Benz car. Since both of them did not know driving well, they meet with an severe accident. Both of them survive, but the car is damaged beyond repairs. This car belonged to a local Bhai (Underworld Mafia)

This Mafia is called AGM by all the underworld. Now Sachin and Zaramud are hiding from Police, but AGM manages to catch them. He makes a deal with them, rather than killing them for the damage of his Mercedes, he will have them work for him. Their job will be to recover money for AGM from his non paying client using whatever means they need to use. Both of them hated the deal, but they had no choice. This becomes a question of life and death for them.

For one such money recovery, AGM sends them to Delhi. There both of them stay in a good hotel, using AGMs credit card. Sachin makes friendship with one of the hotel employees called Pooja. Sachin has a long time dream of opening a big coffee joint, where people will not only come for coffee but for hanging out with friends and loved ones. They will be served variety of coffees and snacks. Pooja likes the dream and shows interest in partnering with him for this. But unfortunately Sachin is stuck with money recovery for some other person and for the time being had no way out of all the situation.

They reach an interesting client Rahul. He has huge debts from AGM and several others. He is working as manager for a company, but had a habit of gambling and baiting. His wife has left him due to his habit, and he is trying hard to patch up with her. Interesting thing about him, was a theory he is following. He says everyone comes with the same amount of luck. But in gambling, you have to rely on the signals that you receive from the surroundings. If one is wise enough, he takes decisions looking at the signals and can change the luck and make lot of money. He enjoys baitng on Indian Cricket Team a lot.

Once while in Mumbai, he needed some money urgently for baiting and he lands up borrowing it from AGM. Unfortunately he looses that bait and now owes big money with interest to AGM. That is the reason Sachin and Zaramud and sent to Delhi by AGM. All the three people are without any criminal nature, but are into these things due to destiny. They start getting together well, and Rahul convinces them about his big plan. He proposes to play a big bait on the upcoming cricket match and win big money. They all can pay back the required amount to respective people and can get free to live their lives as they want. They all are desperately looking forward to get their lives on track and live a truthful life. Can they really do it ? Do they face with lot of difficulties ? Are they able to survive them ? Initially the movie is very confusing. It takes a while to really get a grip over the happenings and the story line. Boman Irani is good but Mahesh Manjrekar fails to make a good impact on this movie. Soha Ali Khan does not have much role. Most other actors seem to be new faces, not much established. The movie is okay and good pass time, but not of must watch category. Though the title says pure fun, it is not really very funny.Do write your comments.

श्रीपाद दांडेकर आणि सुनंदा दांडेकर व त्यांचा मुलगा विशाल दांडेकर यांचे एक त्रिकोणी कुटुंब. विशाल आता लग्नाच्या वयाचा झालेला. त्यात विशाल पूजा भोसलेच्या प्रेमात पडतो. विशालला मोठा प्रश्न पडतो की आईला कसे सांगायचे, त्याला पुजाशी लग्न करायचे आहे. त्यात त्याला साथ देतात त्याचे वडील श्रीपाद दांडेकर. पूजा भोसले म्हणजे मराठा आणि दांडेकर म्हणजे ब्राह्मण. आता जात हा एक तर अडसर असतोच. पण वडिलांची साथ असल्याने, आई मुलीच्या वडिलांना भेटायला तयार होते. भोसले मंडळींना भेटल्यावर लग्नाला दांडेकर मंडळी तयार होतात. नवीन नवीन असल्याने, सुनेचे कौतुक सुरु होते. पण जेव्हा सून लग्न करून घरी येते, तेव्हा चित्र पालटायला सुरवात होते. त्यात पूजा एक स्वतंत्र विचाराची, हुशार, धडाडीची मुलगी असते. हिला मोठ्या कंपनीत मॅनेजरची नोकरी असते. त्यामुळे सासू-सुनेचे उगाच छोट्या छोट्या कारणावरून खटके उडू लागतात. विशाल आणि श्रीपाद यांची मधल्या मध्ये पंचाईत होऊ लागते.



श्रीयुत दांडेकर, सुनंदाला समजावण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात, पण तो फोल ठरतो. त्यात विशाल आणि पूजाचे एकदा भांडण होते. पूजा त्याला सोडून ऑफिसला निघून जाते, नंतर विशालला त्याची चूक कळते व तो तिला गाठण्यासाठी म्हणून जोरात बाईक हाणतो, आणि अपघात होऊन हॉस्पिटल मध्ये दाखल होतो. आता विशाल बेशुध्द पडल्यावर, सासू-सुनेचे जरा पटू लागते. श्रीपाद दांडेकरांना वाटते की आता तरी घरातील संबध सुधारतील, पण नाही थोड्या दिवसातच "पहिले पाढे पंचावन्न" सारखी गत होते. घरात सारखे एक टेन्शन असते. त्यातूनच का काय, विशाल आणि पूजा जे काही ठरवतात, त्यांची खबर सुनंदा आणि श्रीपाद यांना बाहेरील लोकांकडून कळतात. शेवटी एका क्षणी ही दोन्ही जोडपी वेगवेगळे राहण्याचे ठरवतात. आता या वेगळ राहण्यात "सोय" असते की एकमेकांबद्दल असलेली "कुरबुर" त्यांना दूर करते, श्रीपाद आणि सुनंदा, वेगळे झाल्यावर कसे आयुष्य जगतात. हे बघा "मातीच्या चुली" या सिनेमामध्ये.



सिनेमा उत्तमच आहे. हलकाफुलका सिनेमा आहे. जरी अगदी सामान्य विषयाभोवती हा सिनेमा गुंफला असला तरी, विषयाची मांडणी, त्यातील नात्यामधील संबध अगदी सुंदर रीतीने गोवले आहे. काही काही संवाद तर खूपच सुंदर आहेत. वंदना गुप्ते आणि सुधीर जोशी यांचा भूमिकेला तर तोडच नाही. मधुरा वेलणकर आणि अंकुश चौधरी पण त्यांच्या भूमिकेत उत्तम. हा सिनेमा सुधीर जोशींचा शेवटचा सिनेमा आहे. या सिनेमाचे शुटींग सुरु असतानाच त्यांना देवाज्ञा झाली, त्यामुळे या सिनेमात मधून मधून "श्रीपाद दांडेकर ", म्हणून आनंद अभ्यंकर येतात. आणि त्यामुळेच का काय या सिनेमात निवेदक ठेवून सिनेमातील कलाकारांची बदल सांधण्याचा चांगला प्रयत्न केला आहे. सिनेमा बघावा असा आहे, संपूर्ण कुटुंबाला एकत्र बघण्यासारखा सिनेमा निश्चित आहे.

Vishal Dandekar and his parents Shreepad Dandekar and Sunanda Dandekar are a small happy family. Vishal is working as executive and is planning to get married. He is in love with Pooja Bhosale also a executive in another company. Vishal is in dilemma how to convey this to his parents, specially his mother. His dad helps him in this. The reason for his dilemma was the cast, Dandekars are Brahmin and Bhosles are Maratha. But on Shreepad's request Sunanda decides to meet Bhosale family. And on meeting them Sunanda agrees for the marriage and the marriage take place making everyone happy.



The newly wedded couple is enjoying the honeymoon phase of the life. Slowly things are settling to normal. Initially the new Daughter-in-law is pampered by all. Pooja is a bright, dashing and independent lady. She is already a manager in a good company. Slowly there are small issues arising between Sunanda and Pooja, The usual daughter-in-law and mother-in-law type issues. Vishal and Shripad are scape goats in between sometimes. They do now know how to deal with this situations.



Shreepad tries to explain Sunanda that she needs to deal with Pooja tactfully and needs to understand the generation gap and accept certain things. But Sunanda is not that understanding lady. During this phase, Vishal and Pooja have some minor misunderstanding and fight. But Vishal realises his mistake very soon and tries to catch up Poojs who has left for the office on his bike. He meets with an accident and lands up in hospital. To take care of him, Pooja and Sunanda come together and start taking care of Vishal. Everyone hopes that the relations are improving now, but once Vishal is well and starts going to office, things roll back to normal.



With lot of thinking Vishal and Pooja take some decisions and Sunanda and Shripad get to hear them from others rather than their own son. This causes lot of tension between them and finally they decide to live seperately rather than to have tense moments every day. Now this separation is really for convenience or due to in fights, how are Sunanda and Sripad leading their life after this separation, is all depicted very powerfully in the movie Matichya Chooli.



The storyline of the movie is very nice. The subject of this movie is really an everyday one but handled powerfully. It has also suggested some interesting solutions to everyday problems in life. Vandana Gupte and Sudhir Joshi are too good. Madhura Velankar and Ankush Chaudhari are good too. Sanjay Mone has a short but nice role. Unfortunately Sudhi Joshi passed away while the movie was half way through. That makes this his last movie. Abhyankar has played his remaining role to complete the movie. This confused the spectators sometimes, due to change of person in Shripad Dandekar's role. The movie is really good and a recommended one with family.

शिक्षणाच्या आयचा घो (Shikshanachya aaicha gho)

मधुकर राणे अत्यंत सामान्य, मुंबईमध्ये एका चाळीत राहणारा मध्यमवर्गीय. याला दोन मुले, श्रीनिवास आणि दुर्गा. श्रीनिवासला क्रिकेटचे भयंकर वेड. त्या वेडापायी त्याला काहीच सुचत नाही. पण फक्त वेड असे म्हणता येणार नाही, तर त्याला क्रिकेट खेळणे खूपच छान जमत असते. जणू काही पुढील पिढीतील सचिन तेंडूलकरच. आईचे छत्र हरवलेली, दुर्गा एक हसरी आणि समजूतदार मुलगी. आता बायको गेल्यामुळे, घरातील काम, मुलांचा सांभाळ, ऑफिसातील काम यात मधुकर राणे खूप बिझी असतो. मुलांची शाळा त्यांचे खर्च, भागवणे याला जरा जड जात असते. त्यामुळे डोक्यावर कर्ज पण झालेले असते. त्यामुळे थोडा वैतागलेला पण असतो.

त्यात मुलाला क्रिकेटचे वेड. त्यामुळे श्रीनिवास अभ्यास करत नाही. मार्क कमी मिळतात. आता मार्क कमी मिळतात त्यामुळे मुलाला सारखे अभ्यास कर असा तगादा लावलेला असतो. हा जरी वैतागलेला, गांजलेला असतो तरीही, विनोद आणि प्रेमळपणा ओतप्रोत भरलेला असतो. त्यात मुलाला क्रिकेट खेळायला बूट हवे म्हणून पुन्हा "मोहमद / इस्माईल" कडून कर्ज घेतो. त्याच्या ऑफिसमधील त्याचा सहकारी त्याला एक युक्ती सुचवतो, कि जर तुझा मुला स्कॉलरशिप परीक्षेत पास झाला तर शाळा सगळा खर्च करेल, तुला तितकीच मदत होईल. हि आयडीया माधव राणेला एकदम पटते व तो मुलाला स्कॉलरशिपला बसवण्याचा आग्रह करतो. त्यासाठी त्याला क्लास लावतो, अभ्यास करायला लावतो, पण श्रीनिवास चे मन कधीच अभ्यासात लागत नाही व त्याचे शाळेत घेतलेल्या स्कॉलरशिपच्या पूर्व चाचणीत चांगलेच दिवे लागतात. या सगळ्याचा परिणाम म्हणून का काय, मधुकर राणे आपल्या मुलाला एका प्रसंगात बॅटने मारतो. या मारण्याच्या झटापटीत श्रीनिवासच्या डोक्याला पलंग लागतो व तो कोमात जातो.

श्रीनिवास कोमात गेल्यावर मधुकर एकदम खडबडून जागा होतो. आपली शिक्षण पद्धती अशी का आहे, त्याचा मुलांवर काय परिमाण होतो याचा विचार करायला लागतो. खरच आपण मुलांना इतके मारून मुटकून अभ्यास करायला लावतो त्याचा आयुष्यात खरच काय उपयोग आहे का याचा मागोवा घ्यायला लागतो. हे सगळे करत असतानाच याला श्रीनिवासला पुन्हा पूर्ववत करण्याची इच्छा असतेच. त्यावर होणारा खर्च, मधुकर राणे उभा करू शकतो का, श्रीनिवासचे पुढे काय होते, आणि खरच मधुकर राणेला मुलाने साधे शिक्षण घेण्यापेक्षा दुसरे काही केलेले आवडते का बघा "शिक्षणाच्या आईचा घो" या सिनेमामध्ये.



सिनेमा चांगला आहे. शिक्षणपद्धती जरा बदलायला हवी असे दाखवण्याचा चांगला प्रयत्न केला आहे. आपल्या शिक्षणपद्धती मध्ये खूप घोटून घोटून शिकवतात, आणि मुलांना स्वताला विचार करायला जागाच ठेवत नाहीत. मोठ झाल्यावर याचा अनुभव जास्त येतो. स्पर्धा हि चांगली कि वाईट हा तर एक खूप मोठा वादाचा मुद्दा होऊ शकतो. पण स्पर्धेमुळे होणारे फायदे फार आहेत असे वाटत नाही मला. त्यापेक्षा स्पर्धेशिवाय शिक्षण पद्धती ठेवली, तर त्याचा जास्त उपयोग होईल. आपण शाळेत जाऊन घोकंपट्टी करतो त्याचा खऱ्या जीवनात काहीच उपयोग होत नाही. शिक्षणपद्धती वर असलेला हा सिनेमा अजून काही नाजूक विषयांना पण हात लावून जातो. चाळीमध्ये राहणारी नलिनी, तिच्याकडे लोकांचा बघण्याचा दृष्टीकोन, नंतर त्यात झालेला बदल हा पण प्रकर्षाने दिसून येतो.

नको बाबा ती भारत जाधवची कॉमेडी असा म्हणण्यातील मी एक आहे. पण तरीही या सिनेमामधून एक चांगला विषय हाताळला गेला आहे असे मी म्हणीन. म्हणजे भारत जाधव आहे त्यामुळे बघू नये असे जर का कोणाला वाटत असेल तर तसे करू नका. तुम्हाला कदाचित हा सिनेमा आवडेल देखील. या सिनेमात बरेच आईवडील स्वताला बघू शकतात. स्पेशाली जे आईवडील आता मुलांना अभ्यासाव्यतिरिक्त काहीच करू देत नाही त्यांना तर हे नक्कीच जाणवेल. सगळ्या कुटुंबाबरोबर बघण्यासारखा हा चित्रपट आहे असे मी नक्कीच म्हणीन.


Madhukar Rane is a clark in government office. A Typical lower middle class Mumbai resident. He has two children Shrinivas and Durga. His wife has passed away. He is very efficiently managing his work and family responsibilities. But finances are in trouble, due to the increasing expenses and small income. Shrinivas is a good cricket player and a passion for the game. Durga is also a matured and happy go lucky girl. She is very responsible as compared to her age.


Srinivas fails in his mid term examination. He always gets distracted thinking of cricket while studying. Madhukar is worried about his sons future and keeps scolding him. Though he is proud of his cricket skills and supports Sribivas. He takes loan from a pawn broker to buy Srinivas cricket shoose. To repay the loan, he helps his collegues to finish their work in return of cash. He also makes and packs incense sticks. His children help him in that. A friend suggests him if Srinivas appears for scholarship examination, he will get free ship in the school and Madhukar will save the money on his fees. Madhukar agrees that is a great idea and announces at home that Srinivas if going to appear for the exam.


It takes lot of convincing to Srinivas's teachres and school principle to accept his application for the examination, the reason being he Srinivas has already failed in the class once and still not showing any signs of progress. Madhukar manages to find a tutor for Srinivas, so that he can study well for the examinations. But Srinivas is still in his own world of cricket. In the preliminary examination, Srinivas fails to score, and scholl teachers refuse to let him go forward. Annoied Madhukar tries to beat Srinivas with cricket bat itself. Trying to avoid his fathers anger, Srinivas fells and gets hurt on head. This puts Srinivas in coma.


The whole scenario in the family changes at this juncture. Madhukar starts to think about the whole episode and then in general the education system. Is really everything taught useful in the life ? Should parents just make children study or should let them develop other skills like sports, music, arts etc ? The more he thinks about it, the more frustrated he is. He is also determined to treat Srinivas well and get him back to his normal life. He already has a huge burden of loan and the treatment needs more and more money. Watch the movie"Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho" to see how he manages the struggle of life, who all help him, who all create problems and if he succeeds in treating Srinivas.

The movie is on the lines of Dombivali Fast. One of the issues of frustration in common man's life and how one gets to a point of fearless lone fight against it. Is the current education system, of making children learn things by heart and not able to express own views and ideas. Is academic competition everything ? And is ability to memorise everything, including useless stuff in the syllabus and able to spit it out in the exam is the only skill ? The movie also handles some delicate issues in human relationships.


The movies is certainly worth watching with family. This is a different movie that you can expect from a Bharat Jadhav movie. His role is good and he has really justified it. Sakshm Kulkarni is good too. This could be an eye opener to parents who concentrate only on their children's academics and do not let them participate in extra curricular activities. I would recommend this to all the parents with school going children.
