महारथी (Maharathi)

Jaisingh Edenwala was a famous film director of his time. But he is now drunkard and not going well with his wife. He has also stopped making films altogether. He is now going to be bank-corrupt. Once while driving back from a party, under influence of alcohol he bangs a roadside tree and gets hurt badly. One petty criminal Subhash Sharma saves him and takes him out of the burning car.

Subhash wins Jaisingh's heart and he offers Subhash a job of his driver. He also lets him stay in the outhouse of his mansion like bungalow. Now Subhash learns about the equations between Jaisingh and his wife Mallika. Mallika has married Jaisingh just for his money. Subhash becomes a trusted friend of Jaisingh and Jaisingh starts sharing each and everything with Subhash.

Jaisigh is an asthma patient. Once when he suffers one such attack, Mallika throws away his medicine pump, so that Jaisingh suffers and hopefully dies and she gets his wealth. Subhash does not believe it. The Jaisingh tells him that he has a insurance policy of 24 crore and the beneficiary is Mallika. Now Subhash agrees.

Mallika and Subhash are always in verbal wars. On one such occasion, Jaisingh writes something and hands over to Subhash and orders him to pass it on to Marchant, his lawyer. But before that he tells, he need to announce something to Mallika. He calls both of them in the room and explains he has a strange message for the layers as following. "I am killing myself. Mallika will get the money for my insurance policy only if she proves, it was murder. If Mallika is not successful and gets arrested for my murder, please use this letter to bail her out. But this will insure she does not get the money." Before Subhash and Mallika could digest this situation, Jaisingh pulls out a gun and kills himself.

Now the real movie starts. What will Mallika do next? Will she succeed in proving that as a murder? What will Subhash do? Will Mallika get the money? watch "Maharathi".

The movie is very gripping for the beginning. The story line moved rapidly. There are only five characters in the movie. First part is all about Jaisingh and Subhash. Second half is all about Mallika and Subhash. Towards the end police officer (Om Puri) has certainly left a mark. Paresh Rawal has done a really good job. Boman Irani is also good. In general, the movie is must watch if you have not. The fun to watch how all the five characters are trying to prove superior than others. And all are really great actors. जयसिंग एडेनवाला हा एक त्याच्या काळातील खूप प्रसिद्ध सिनेमा दिग्दर्शक असतो. पण त्याच्या बायकोशी म्हणजे मल्लिकाशी त्याचे संबंध बिघडतात आणि मग हा दारूच्या आहारी जातो. सिनेमा करणे बंद पडते, आणि त्यामुळे कर्ज बाजरी होतो. एकदा असाच दारूच्या नशेत असताना. त्याच्या गाडीला अपघात होतो. त्या अपघातात, जीवाची पर्वा न करता, सुभाष शर्मा नावाचा एक भुरट्या चोर त्याला वाचवतो.

सुभाषवर खुश होऊन तो सुभाषला तो त्याच्या ड्रायव्हरची नोकरी देतो आणि शिवाय घरात राहायला जागा पण देतो. आता घरात राहायला लागल्यावर सुभाषला मल्लिकाचे वागणे, जयसिंगचे वागणे नीट समजू लागते. मल्लिकाने जयसिंगाशी फक्त त्याच्या पैश्यासाठी लग्न केलाय हे पण त्याच्या लक्षात येते. जयसिंगचा सुभाष हा एक खूप चांगला मित्र होतो. त्याच्या मनातील सगळ्या गोष्टी जयसिंग सुभाषला सांगू लागतो.

जयसिंगला अस्थम्याचा त्रास असतो. तर एकदा असाच अस्थम्याचा अटॅक आला असताना, मल्लिका त्याचा औषधाचा पंप फेकून देते, जेणे करून जयसिंगचा मृत्यू होईल आणि सगळी संपत्ती मल्लीकाला मिळेल. हे ऐकल्यावर सुभाषला खरे वाटत नाही. मग जयसिंग सांगतो कि त्याने एक लाइफ़ इन्शुरन्स घेतलाय, आणि त्या पॉलिसीनुसार त्याचे पैसे मल्लिकाला मिळणार आहेत. आणि त्या पॉलिसीची रक्कम थोडी थोडकी नाही तर तब्बल २४ करोड आहे. हे ऐकल्यावर मग सुभाषला पटते कि कदाचित मल्लिकाचा खरच डोळा असणार जयसिंगच्या संपत्तीवर.

मल्लिका आणि जयसिंगचे खटके तर कायम उडतच असतात. तर असच एकदा कुठल्यातरी कारणावरून खटका उडतो. त्यानंतर जयसिंग एका कागदावर काहीतरी लिहितो आणि सुभाषला ते पत्र त्याच्या वकिलाकडे म्हणजे मर्चंट कडे द्यायला सांगतो. पण ते पत्र देण्याआधी तो सांगतो कि मला मल्लिकाला काही महत्वाचे सांगायचे आहे. आणि मग मल्लिका आणि सुभाषला समोरासमोर बसवून सांगतो कि सुभाषकडे जे पत्र आहे, त्यात मी असा लिहिलंय कि मी आता आत्महत्या करणार आहे, पण माझ्या पॉलिसीचे पैसे मल्लिकाला मिळतील जेव्हा ती माझ्या आत्महत्येला खून आहे असे सिद्ध करून दाखवेल. आणि जर का तिने हा खून आहे हे सिद्ध केले, आणि त्यात जर का ती फसली तर, हे पत्र दाखवून तिला बाहेर काढा, पण त्यामुळे मग पैसे तिला मिळणार नाहित. या दोघांना वाटतंय कि हा फालतू काहीतरी बोलतोय, पण तो खरच बंदूक काढून आत्महत्या करतो.

आता पुढे काय करायचे असा प्रश्न मल्लिकाला पडतो, ती नक्की काय निर्णय घेते, जयसिंगची आत्महत्या खुनात साबित करते का? तिला जयसिंगची संपत्ती मिळते का? हे बघा "महारथी" मध्ये.

सिनेमा सुरवातीपासूनच प्रेक्षकांवर पकड घेतो. कथा एकदम पटापट पुढे सरकते. कथेत मुख्य पाचच पात्र आहेत, पूर्वाधात बहुतेक सगळी कथा नसिरुद्दीन शहा, आणि परेश रावल यांच्या भोवती फिरते, तर त्यानंतरची कथा मल्लिका आणि परेश रावलच्या भोवती फिरते. शेवटी पोलिस म्हणून आलेला ओम पुरी पण चांगलीच छाप पडून जातो. परेश रावलची भूमिका खुप उत्तम रित्या मांडली गेली आहे. बोमन इराणी, वकिलाच्या भूमिकेत उत्तम. एकूण सिनेमा बघावा असाच आहे. आणि सगळी पात्र एकावर एक कशी कुरघोडी करतात हे बघण्यात या सिनेमातील खरी गम्मत आहे. तुम्ही हा सिनेमा बघितला असल्यास, किंवा माझ्या लिखाणावर काही प्रतिक्रिया असल्यास जरूर देणे.

७ खून माफ (7 khoon maaf)

सुझाना ॲन मारी एका अतिशय श्रीमंत बापाची मुलगी. हिचा मृतदेह पोलिसांना सापडतो आणि ते तिची चौकशी करतात तेव्हा कळते की हिचे पूर्वी ६ पुरुषांबरोबर लग्न झालेले आहे आणि सगळ्यांचा आकस्मिक मृत्यू झाला आहे. आता पोलिसांकडे केस आल्याने, ते तिच्या पूर्वीच्या आयुष्यात नक्की काय झाले ते न समजल्यामुळे, तरीही ६ नवर्यांचा काहीतरी घातपात मृतू झाला आहे असे वाटून तिचा या वेळी नक्की मृत्यू झाला आहे कि नाही याचा शोध घेण्याचा प्रयत्न करण्याचे ठरवतात. तिच्या मृत्यूचे सगळे पुरावे एका अरुण कुमार नावाच्या फ्लोरेन्सिक एक्सपर्ट कडे जातात. योगायोगाने हा अरुण कुमार सुझानाला लहानपणापासून ओळखत असतो. आता जरी त्याचे लग्न झालेले असले, तरी कोणे एकेकाळी, एका अनभिज्ञ वयात अरुण कुमारला सुझाना बद्दल आकर्षण असते. आता सुझाना मेली यामुळे अर्थात्तच अरुण कुमारला खूप वाईट वाटते. सगळे पुरावे शोधता शोधता त्याला पूर्वीच्या आठवणी येतात आणि खरी गोष्ट सुरु होते.

तर सुझानाचे वडील खूप श्रीमंत असतात. सुझाना लहान असतानाच हिची आई मरण पावते, त्यामुळे वडिलांशिवाय तिला दुसरे जग नसते. ती थोडी मोठी होते तोच तिचे वडील देखील मरण पावतात. आता जो पुरुष दिसेल त्याच्यात ही प्रेम शोधू लागते. हिच्या वडिलांकडे ३ विश्वासू नोकर असतात., गालिब, मॅगी, आणि गुंगाचाचा. गालिब, वडिलांचा पी ए असतो, तर मॅगी घरात सैपाक व इतर कामे बघत असते आणि गुंगा चाचा हा वडिलांच्या तबेल्याची काळजी घेत असतो. गुंगा चाचाने अरुण कुमारला मुलासारखे वाढवले असते. गुंगा चाचा नावाप्रमाणेच मुका असतो.

वडील गेल्यावर, वडिलांच्या ओळखीचा असलेला एक आर्मी ऑफिसर, मेजर एडविन रॉड्रीक्स याच्या बरोबर हिचे लग्न होते. याला अशोकचक्र मिळालेले असते, पण एका युद्धात याचा एक पाय तुटलेला असतो. आणि याने खोटा पाय लावलेला असतो. हा सुझाना बाबत खूप पझेसिव असतो. आणि याला मुल हवे असते, पण सुझानामध्ये काहीच शारीरिक कमी नसते, पण रॉड्रीक्सला हे पटत नाही. आणि त्याच्या स्वतत असलेला कमीपणा त्याला सारखा सतावत असतो. तो हिला मारहाण करतो आणि अचानक रॉड्रीक्सचा मृत्यू होतो. त्याच्या अंतिम संस्कारच्या वेळेस हिचे लक्ष जमशेद सिंग राठोड कडे जाते, हा गीटार वादक असतो, तो हिच्याशी लग्न करतो व म्हणतो कि आता माझे नाव जिमी आहे. सुझानाचे जिमी वर खूप प्रेम असते, पण ह्याला ड्रग्जचे व्यसन असते. सुझाना त्याचे व्यसन सोडवण्याचा खूप प्रयत्न करते पण तो असफल होतो, आणि अचानक त्याचा मृत्यू होतो.

दुखातून बाहेर पडायला म्हणून ही काश्मीरला जाते तिथे तिची ओळख मोहमद नावाच्या एका शायराशी होते. त्याची हळुवार शायरी, हिला भुरळ घालते, ही मोहमदशी लग्न करण्यासाठी धर्मांतरण देखील करते. जरी मोहमदच्या कविता हळुवार असतात, पण त्याचे प्रेम हे खूप हिंसक असते. तो हिला बऱ्यापैकी मारहाण करतो आणि अचानक ह्याचा मृत्यू होतो. सुझानाचे नवरे इतके कसे पटापट मृत्यू पडतात, याच्या मागे काहीतरी नक्कीच काळेबेरे असे किमतलाल नावाच्या इंस्पेक्टरला वाटत असते. पण सुझाना तिच्या सौंदर्याच्या जोरावर किमतलालला नेहमीच मार्गी लावते. आता घोड्यांच्या शर्यतीत हिचा घोडा पहिला येतो आणि मग ही बक्षीस घ्यायला जाते आणि तिथे निकोलाई व्रोन्स्कीच्या प्रेमात पडते.

गुंगाचाचा कडे राहत असलेला अरुण कुमार ह्याच्या शिक्षणाची सगळी जबाबदारी सुझानाने घेतलेली असते. निकोलाई हा रशियन असतो, त्याच्याकडे अरुण कुमारला रशियाच्या एका युनिवर्सिटी मध्ये अडमिशन मिळवून देण्याची गोष्ट करते. सुझानाच्या प्रेमाखातर तो अरुण कुमारला रशियात घेऊन जातो. अचानक अरुण कुमार कळते कि निकोलाईचे लग्न झालेले आहे आणि त्याची रशियात एक बायको देखील आहे. सुझानाला जेव्हा कळते तेव्हा अचानक निकोलाईचा मृत्यू होतो. निकोलाई हा रशियन असल्याने त्याच्या मृत्यूची चौकशी जास्त डिटेल मध्ये होऊ लागते. त्या चौकशी साठी किमतलालचे घरी वारंवार घरी येणे सुरु होते. या चौकशीत सुझाना अडकणार, हे सुझानाला कळते, त्यातून वाचण्यासाठी सुझाना एकदा त्याच्याबरोबर एक रात्र घालवते. किमतलाल मग सारखा सारखा हिच्याकडे येऊ लागतो आणि शेवटी कंटाळून सुझाना त्याच्याशी लग्न करते आणि थोड्याच दिवसात त्याचा मृत्यू होतो.

या सगळ्या प्रकाराला कंटाळून सुझाना शेवटी आत्महत्या करण्याचे ठरवते. ती आत्महत्या करायला एका गाडीच्या समोर जाऊन उभी राहते आणि तिला अपघात होतो. त्या अपघातातून तिला मोधू वाचवतो. याला औषधी वनस्पतीबद्दल खूप माहिती असते. तो खूप चांगला असतो, सुझानाला वाटते की तिला हवा असणारा पुरुष आता तिला मिळाला आहे, आणि ती मोधूशी लग्न करते.. पण थोड्याच दिवसात मोधूचा मृत्यू होतो. आता मात्र तिचा या जगावरील विश्वास उडतो आणि ती स्वत:ला गोळ्या घालून आत्महत्या करते. आता तिच्या मृतदेह आणि त्या बरोबर असलेले पुरावे पोलिसांकडे आलेले असतात, आणि त्याची चौकशी अरुण कुमार करत असतो.

अरुण कुमारला चौकशीत नक्की काय आढळून येते? सुझाना तिच्या नवऱ्याचे खून कश्या प्रकारे करते, हे बघा "७ खून माफ" मध्ये. सिनेमा ठीक आहे. लहान मुलांना घेऊन बघण्यासारखा निश्चित नाही. ३ तास सिनेमा प्रेक्षकांना कंटाळा येऊ देत नाही. पण सिनेमा बघितलाच पाहिजे असा काही नाही. सगळे नवरे, आणि त्यांच्या खुनाचे प्लॉट चांगले रंगवले आहेत. सिनेमाचा शेवट खूपच वेगळा आहे.

Suzana is a daughter of a very rich person. Her dead body is found and the police are trying to investigate the matter. They find out that she was married to six different men at different points in time and all men have died untimely. This makes the case very complicated, they need to find if her death is natural or there is something fishy in this incidence too. So they want to check the reality behind the whole episode. Arun Kumar is the officer in charge of the forensic analysis of this case. A sheer coincidence is this Arun Kumar knows Suzana from his childhood. Now he is happily married, but at young age, he had a crush on her. With the news of Suzana's death Arun Kumar is very sad and while investigating this case he is remembering his olden days spend around and with Suzana.

Suzana's dad was a very rich person. His mother died when Suzana was very young. For her the whole world now is her dad. But she lost her dad before she was twenty. Now she is looking for love in any man she comes in contact with. Her dad had three employees in his home. Galib who is a personal assistant and accountant, Magi is cook and care taker of the home and Gunga Uncle is in charge of the Horse Stable. Gunga has adapted Arun Kumar in very young age. Susana married her fathers friend who was an army officer Major Edwin Rodrigs, conferred with bravery medals. But in the war, he has lost one of his legs and has an artificial one. Rodrigs is very possessive about Suzana. He also has a major inferiority complex of his handicap. He drinks a lot and beats Suzana at times. One day all of a sudden Rodrigs dies. During his last rites Suzana meets Jamshed Sing Rathod a guitarist. They got along well and soon decide to get married. He becomes Jimmy and they are in deep love for some time. But Jimmy has one problem, he is drug addict. Suzana tries to treat him for his addiction, but she fails. And Jimmy too dies soon.

Suzana is in shock after Jimmy's death and decides to travel to Kashmir to change the atmosphere around her. She meets Mohamad in Kashmir who is a poet. His soft poetry really touches Suzana and again she falls for him. She marries him by accepting Islam. Though Mohamad's poetry was very soft and loving, his love making was very violent and aggressive. He likes beating and hitting her. He too dies and now police department starts feeling foul play in all this. Kimmatlal was the officer put on this investigation. He probes the case for several weeks, visits Suzana's home several times for that. Suzana just uses her looks and manages to keep Kimatlal away from real investigations. One of her horse wins a major race in the region and during the felicitation she meets Nickolai.

Nickolai is a Russian and he starts spending lot of time with Suzana. Arun Kumar was young man by this time and Suzana requests him to get Arun admitted in some good Russian university. After Nickolai's marriage with Suzana, he takes Arun Kumar to Russia for his admission. During this time Arun Kumar learns that Nickolai is already maried in Russia with children. He conveys this to Suzana and on Nickolai's return from Russia he too dies. Now him being a foreign citizen, there is a larger trouble for Suzana. Kimatlal is again back for investigations. Kimatlal is now making progress and seems like Suzana would be in big trouble. To manage this situation she sleeps with Kimatlal. Now Kimatlal starts frequenting her place at odd hours, and finally she decides to marry him, to keep herself out of trouble. He too dies of heart attack one night.

Now Suzana is fed up with life and attempts suicide. She jumps in front of a fast car and the car hits her and runs away. But Modhu saves her life by treating her. He is a herbal physician. He is a very loving and caring person and Suzana feels better very soon. During this course she starts feeling that Modhu was the kind of person she was looking for, all her life. She marries Modhu now, but unfortunately he dies in few weeks. Now she shoots herself and her body with all the evidences are in front of Arun Kumar. He is the forensic expert the police department is relying on now to know the truth behind her life.

What did Arun Kumar find in his investigations? Does she really kill her husbands and if yes how does she manages all this? Watch "Saat Khun Maf" for that. Do not watch this with kids. This is not really a must watch type movie, but enjoyable with interesting story line, plot and script. The movie ends with a bit of surprise.

बारह आना (Barah Aana )

स्वभावाने भिन्न प्रकृतीच्या तीन मित्रांभोवती ह्या सिनेमाची कथा गुंफली आहे. शुक्ला हा वयाने मोठा, मितभाषी व समंजस असा असतो. याचा भूतकाळ नक्की काय होता हे माहिती नसते, त्याच्या दोन मित्रांना देखिल. शुक्ला एका श्रीमंत माणसाकडे ड्रायव्हरची नोकरी करत असतो. शुक्लाला त्याचे मालक चांगली वागणूक देत असतात, पण मालकिणीचा या शुक्लावर खूप राग असतो आणि ती याला खूपच घालून पाडून बोलत असते.

अमन हा दिसायला एकदम हिरो, पण नोकरी मात्र एका हॉटेल मध्ये वेटरची करत असतो. याला शानशौकी करण्याचा छंद असतो. त्यासाठी हा ज्याच्या त्याच्या कडून उधारी घेत असतो. तो राहत असतो, त्याच्या जवळपास असणाऱ्या एका किराणा दुकानातून पण हा उधारी घेतो. ते दुकान राणी नावाची एक मुलगी चालवत असते, तिचे ह्या अमनवर प्रेम असते. पण अमनचे मात्र त्याच्या हॉटेल मध्ये येणाऱ्या एका परदेशी मुलीवर मन लट्टू झालेले असते. ह्या परदेशी मुलीचे नाव केट. हि केट देखील अमनशी प्रेमाने वागत असते पण तिचे ह्याच्यावर काही प्रेम वगैरे नसते. पण अमन हिरोला याची काहीच कल्पना नसते.

तिसरा मित्र यादव, हा त्याच्या कुटुंबाला खेड्यावर ठेवून मुंबईत नोकरी साठी आलेला असतो. तो एका वॉचमनची नोकरी करत असतो. आता ह्या बिल्डींग मधल्या कमिटीच्या लोकांची आपापसात भांडण असते आणि त्याचा त्रास ते ह्या वाचमनला देतात. बिचाऱ्या यादव कडे हा जाच सहन करण्याशिवाय दुसरा काहीच पर्याय बाकी नसतो. यादव आणि अमन हे दोघे एकच खोलीत राहत असतात. शुक्लाचे घर दूर असते. आणि शुक्लाचे घर या दोघांच्या मानाने जरा सुस्थितीतले असते. तर अश्या परिस्थितीत असताना, यादवला त्याच्या बायकोचा फोन येतो कि मुलाची तब्येत खूप खराब झालीय आणि त्याला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये भरती करावे लागणार आहे आणि त्यासाठी ५००० रु. हवेत. यादव बिल्डींग मधल्या खूप जणांना पैसे मागतो पण पैसे द्यायला कोणीच तयार होत नाही. अमनकडे पैसेच नसतात. तो तरी कुठून देणार पैसे यादवला. आता मुलाचे काय होणार या चिंतेत यादव रडू लागतो. शुक्लाला त्याचे दुख बघवत नाही आणि तो घरी जाउन त्याच्याकडे त्याने जमवलेले पैसे यादवला नेउन देतो. यादव त्याच्या एका मित्राबरोबर पैसे गावाला पाठवायला म्हणून रेल्वे स्टेशन वर जातो, तेव्हा नेमके त्याचे पाकीट मारले जाते आणि मग यादव अगदीच हतबल होतो.

तो असाच निष्क्रिय होऊन एका हातगाडीच्या शेजारी बसून राहतो. तितक्यात ३-४ जणांचे एक टोळके येते आणि ते यादवशी हुज्जत घालू लागते. यादव लक्ष देत नाही पण तरी त्यातील एक जण त्याला जबरदस्तीने डिवचतो. यादव तिरीमिरीत उठतो आणि त्याला एक ठेवून देतो… इतक्या जोरात मारतो कि तो मनुष्य जमिनदोस्त होतो, त्याला खूप लागते. त्याचे सहकारी घाबरून पळून जातात. यादवला समाजात नाही काय करावे, त्या जखमी माणसाला कुठे सोडावे. यादव त्याला सरळ घरी घेऊन येतो. शुक्ला आणि अमनला सगळी कथा सांगतो. आता तिघेही जण खूप काळजीत पडतात कि काय करावे. त्यात यादवला एक कल्पना सुचते. तो अमन आणि शुक्ल या दोघांना न सांगता त्या जखमी मनुष्याच्या घरी फोन करतो आणि त्यांच्या कडून ३०००० मागतो आणि म्हणतो कि तुमचा नातेवाइक तुम्हाला पैसे मिळाल्यावर परत मिळेल. यादवने ठरवलेल्या प्लॅननुसार त्याला ३०००० रुपये मिळतात. तो ते ३०००० रुपये तिघांमध्ये सामान वाटतो. शुक्लाला खूप राग येतो त्याला असे वाईट धंदे करून मिळवलेले पैसे नको असतात. पण यादवला घरी पैसे पाठवायला हवेच असतात, तसेच अमनला देखील पैसे हवे असतात, कारण केटला पैसे हवे असतात. आता हे असे अपघाताने मिळालेले पैसे तर वापरले जातात.

आता यादवला एक कल्पना सुचते कि तिघांनी मिळून असेच लोकांचे अपहरण करायचे आणि थोडे थोडे पैसे मागायचे, खूप पैसे पण मागायचे नाही जेणे करून ते मिळणे शक्य होणार नाही. अमनला यादवची कल्पना खूप आवडत नाही, पण तरी तो त्यासाठी तयार होतो. आता शुक्लाला तयार करणे हे काम जरा कठीण आहे याची यादवला जाणीव असते. तरीही, यादव आणि अमन, शुक्लाला पटवण्यासाठी त्याच्याकडे जाउन त्याला समजावण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात. आता या प्रयत्नात त्यांना यश येते का ? यादवचा अपहरण करण्याचा प्लॅन यशस्वी होतो का हे बघा "बारह आना" मधे.

सिनेमा ठीक आहे. विनोदी आहे असे म्हणतात, पण फार काही विनोदी वाटला नाही. निदान मध्यंतरा पर्यंत तरी बऱ्यापैकी गंभीर सिनेमा वाटला. सिनेमात फार पात्र नाहीत. शेवट आपण ओळखू शकतो, पण इतका सहजासहजी ओळखण्याइतका नाही. सिनेमा बघायलाच हवा असा नाही, पण बघितल्यास फार पश्चाताप होणार नाही

This is a story of three friends who are totally different in most respects form each other. Shukla, is the eldest of all, a bit loner but matured person. His past is a bit mysterious and unknown to his two friends. He is working as a driver for a rich family. His boss is a gentle man and treats Shulka well, but the wife of his boss never treats him well and always passes derogatory remarks on him.

Second person is Aman, a very smart and young man. He is woking as a waiter in a restaurant. He is happy go lucky man, with hobbies like watching movies and good clothing. He is in habit of borrowing money form everyone for his needs. He always borrows money form a girl called Rani, who runs a small shop near his house. Rani is in love with Aman, but Aman is falling for a foreigner girl Kate, who frequents his restaurant for breakfast. Kate is also really good with Aman as a friend, but is not in love with him. She is stuck in India, while she visited as a tourist and is trying to make money selling drugs.

Third guy is Yadav, who has his family in the village and is trying earn money to support his family back home. He is working as watchman in a residential building and is stuck in the internal fights between the committee members of that building, and suffering torture. But he has to work and make a living and has no other go.

One day Yadav receives a call form his wife, telling his is son is very sick and the treatment is going to cost at least 5000. He needs to send the money urgently, so he tries to borrow money form almost each member in the building where he is working, but no one gives him any. He is very sad and dejected, and Aman is also not able to help him, since he does not have any money and in small debt himself. When Shulka sees Yadav broke down, he decides to help him with his savings, and gives him the required Rs. 5000.

Yadav is happy finally and goes to railway station to pas on the money to one of his friends ho was travelling to his village, to pass it on to his wife, for the treatment. Unfortunately someone picks his pocket and he could not send the money. Yadav is totally dejected with his life and is wondering aimlessly in the situation. He is sitting roadside, lost in his thoughts, under a tree near a snack stall. One car stops near the stall and thinking that Yadav is a stall employee, they call him to serve them. Yadav is lost in his thoughts and does not pay any attention to the people, one of the person gets down and approaches Yadav, abusing him. Yadav in fit of anger hits him just one, which makes the person unconscious. The car gang is scared and flee the seen.

Now Yadav, clueless what to do with this situation, brings the man to their home. The night passes somehow, but next morning they are very worried, what to do with the person at home. Finally Yadav goes out to figure out something, and calls the family to inform the whereabouts of their person. He demands Rs. 30,000 for returning the man, and the family happily agrees to the sum. He executes the kidnap deal flawlessly and returns the person to the family and gets the money. He divides the money equally with his partners Shukla and Aman. Aman is very happy to get the money, but Shukla is upset and does not want the money. But since he is part of the deal and kidnapping, he has to keep quite.

Yadav is confident of the deal and decides to make this his profession. His plan is to kidnap people and as for money form the family. The sum should be small, so no one will go to the police, but just pay them the money. Aman wants to make money, so even he is scared, he agrees to the plan. Now they need Shulka involved, so that he can drive the people around. Both Yadav and Aman try to convince him. Are they successful in that, does Shukla join the business, can they successfully do it? Watch is in the Hindi movie "Barah Anna".

The movie is good time pass, not really of Comedy genera, but may be called as comedy thriller. Fairly serious story line till interval, It is a story line with few characters and the end is not that predictable. Our recommendation is to watch the movie for some decent pass time, but not must watch type. Do let us know your comments.
