दृश्यम (Drushyam)

विजय साळगावकर हा चौथी पास असून याचा व्यवसाय केबल ऑपरेटरचा असतो. याला सिनेमा बघण्याची खूपच आवड असते. त्याला इतकी पराकोटीची आवड असते, कि घरून आलेला फोन देखील हा मनुष्य घेत नाही, जेव्हा सिनेमा बघत ऑफिस मध्ये बघत बसतो. जरी हा चौथी पास झालेला असला तरी तसा तो खूप हुशार, आणि व्यवहारज्ञान असलेला मनुष्य असतो. आणि घरातील सगळ्या माणसांवर खूप प्रेम करत असतो. घरात दोन मुली आणि बायको इतकेच लोक असतात.

मोठी मुलगी कॉलेजमध्ये असते. आणि लहान मुलगी शाळेत जाणारी असते. विजय साळगावकरचे सासर पणजीला असते. मार्टिन नावाचा एक हॉटेल मालक हा विजय साळगावकरचा खूप चांगला मित्र असतो. या हॉटेल समोरच पोलिस स्टेशन असते. त्या पोलिस स्टेशन मधला सब-इंस्पेक्टर गायतोंडे हा खूप वाईट काम करत असतो, लोकांना उगीचच त्रास देणे, त्यांच्या कडून पैसे उकळणे, अशी काम करण्यामुळे विजयला गायतोंडे बद्दल अजिबात आदर नसतो. त्यामुळे जेव्हा जेव्हा मोका मिळेल तेव्हा विजय साळगावकर गायतोंडे ला त्याच्या या वागण्यावरून टोकत असतो. पण विजय हा एक खूप चांगला मनुष्य आहे असे मात्र इतर सगळ्या पोलिस ऑफिसरचे मत असते.

विजयच्या मोठ्या मुलीला अंजूला एकदा एका ट्रीपला जायचे असते, त्यासाठी विजयची बायको खूप आग्रह करून विजयला पटवते आणि अंजूला ट्रीपला पाठवते. त्या ट्रीपमध्ये एक सम नावाचा मुलगा, ट्रीपला आलेल्या मुलींचे फोटो काढत असतो. जेव्हा एका मुलीच्या लक्षात येते, तेव्हा ती सॅमवर खूप ओरडते आणि मग सॅम फोटो काढणे बंद करतो. पण हे सॅम रुपी वादळ अंजूच्या मागे लागते. एकदा अंजू कॉलेज मधून घरी येत असताना सॅम तिला अडवतो, आणि तिला म्हणतो कि मला भेटायला ये, पण अंजू त्याला नकार देते. मग सॅम तिला ब्लॅकमेल करतो आणि तो तिला तिचा ट्रीपला गेला असताना, ती अंघोळ करत असतानाचा व्हिडियो दाखवतो. आणि म्हणतो कि जर तू मला भेटली नाहीस तर हा व्हीडीओ सगळी पाठवला जाईल. हे ऐकून अंजू खूप घाबरते. घरी येते आणि तिला काहीच सुचेनासे होते. तिच्या आईच्या हे लक्षात येते.

अंजू, आईला सगळे सांगते, तोवर सॅम अंजूच्या घरी पोचलेला असतो. आता अंजूची आई सॅमला समजवायला जाते, पण सॅम आता विजय च्या बायकोच्या मागेच लागतो, आईला वाचवण्याच्या झटापटीत सॅमचा मृत्यू होतो.  दोघीही खूप घाबरून जातात, विजयला फोन करतात, पण विजय सिनेमात बघण्यात दंग असतो, तो फोन घेतच नाही.

घरी आल्यावर विजयला घरातील सगळी परिस्थिती कळते, मग ते ठरवतात कि आता आलेल्या परिस्थितीला धैर्याने तोंड द्यायचे. सगळ्या कुटुंबाने एकत्र ह्या संकटाचा सामना करायचा. विजय साळगावकरचे कुटुंब हि आलेली बला परतवून लावू शकतात का हे बघा "दृश्यम" या सिनेमात.

सिनेमा अफलातून आहे. प्रत्येक गोष्ट खूप सुंदर रीतीने मांडली आहे. सॅमच्या मृत्युचे पुरावे लपवणे असू दे, पोलिसांची तपास करण्याची दिशा असू देत, सगळ्या गोष्टी खूप उत्तम रीतीने मांडल्या आहेत. आपण कल्पना करू शकत नाही असे प्रसंग खूप बारकाईने दाखवले आहेत.

सगळ्या गोष्टींचा उलगडा सिनेमाच्या शेवटीच होतो. सिनेमा अक्षरश प्रेक्षकांना जागेवर  खिळवून ठेवतो. सिनेमा अगदी बघावाच असा आहे.


Vijay Salgaonkar is a school dropout and running a Cable Television business. He is a big fan of movies and spends a lot of time watching movies in his office. At times he woulf just remove telephone receiver off the hook, so that his wife does not disturb him while watching movies. Even thought he is a school drop out, he is very sharp and wise person. He just loves his family a lot. He has a small family of wife and two daughters.

His elder daughter is studying in college and younger one is in elementary school. His in laws are in a near bye town. There is a hotel near his office, where he frequents for break fast and tea. The owner Martin is a good friend of VIjay. Opposite the Hotel is the police station, so most of the police too frequent the hotel. One of the sun inspectors Gaitonde is particularly notorious person. He always troubles people around him, and also tries to extract undue advantage of his powers as police person. Vijay being a genuine person hates Gaitonde and on many occasions, tries to correct Gaitonde or stop for wrong doings. All the other police personnel have high respect for Vijay. 

Vijay's elder daughter Anju wants to attend a school educational camp. Vijay was not very keen but the ladies in the house convince him that it will be very useful. In that camp, there was guy called Sam. He was always with his cell phone camera taking pictures of all the girls. Finally one of the girls scolds him for that and he stops that non sense. But after a few days after the camp, Sam meets Anju again and tells her to meet him in a particular location. Anju denies that proposition ans then he shows her a video of her taking shower during the camp. He tells Anju, if she does not comply with what he is telling, the video will be circulated to lot of people on internet. Now Anju is scared and goes home. She is not able to tell this to her mother too. But the mother realizes that something is wrong.

 Finally Anju tells what has been happening since the afternoon. In the meantime Sam reaches Anju's backyard. Anju and her mother try to request him that he shoild not try to trouble or blackmail them, but at this point Sam gets attracted to Anju's mother and before he could touch her, Anju and attacks him and in the event Sam dies on the spot. Both of them scared now try calling Vijay, but as usual he is busy watching movie and is not reachable on phone. 

On reaching home, Vijay knows the whole situation, the family decides to face the situation together with courage. But it really possible to to manage such a situation with four members of the family? Specially with a person like Gaitonde seeking every opportunity to frame them? Watch it in Hindi Movie Drishyam.

This is one of the most interesting movie we have watched in recent times. It is really well done. The situations like hiding the evidences of death of Sam, anticipating course of action that police will take, and preparing the whole family to face it etc. The plot and execution is really done well. A lot of suspense really remains suspense till the end. 

This is certainly a must watch movie, and it is already being remade in several Indian languages from the original Malayalam version.

तू ही रे (Tu Hi Re)

नंदिनी एका खेड्यात राहण्याऱ्या खूप मोठ्या कुटुंबातील वाढलेली मुलगी असते. तिचे सिद्धार्थ नावाच्या शहरात वाढलेल्या इंजिनियरशी लग्न ठरते. लग्नाच्या पहिल्या रात्री नंदिनी सांगते कि तिला खरतर हे लग्न करायचे नव्हते कारण तिला लव-मॅरेज करायचे होते. पण आता लग्न झालय त्यामुळे जसा काय नवरा असेल तो तिने पत्करला आहे.

नंदिनी आणि सिद्धार्थ या दोघांना एक पीहू नावाची मुलगी असते. सिद्धार्थ एका प्रायव्हेट कंपनी  नोकरी करत असतो. तो इंजिनियर असतो. नंदिनी एका कंपनी मध्ये रिसेप्शिनस्टची नोकरी करत असते. दोघांचे एकमेकांवर निरतिशय प्रेम असते. या तिघांचे कुटुंब एकदम मजेत जगत असते. सिद्धार्थला कंपनी मध्ये एक कॉन्ट्रॅक्ट मिळवायचा असतो, पण तो कॉन्ट्रॅक्ट घेण्यासाठी जो मनुष्य येतो त्याला बघून सिद्धार्थ चपापतो कंपनीसाठी डील करण्याऐवजी हा मनुष्य सिद्धार्थ बरोबर डील करतो कि, तू नंदिनीला ठेवतोय त्याहीपेक्षा जास्त मी नंदिनीला सुखी ठेवीन. अर्थातच सिद्धार्थ त्याला काही बोलत नाही. घरी पण नंदिनी पासून हे घडलेले लपवून ठेवतो.

सिद्धार्थला त्या मनुष्याने दिलेली ऑफर खूप मानसिक त्रास देत असते. त्याचा परिणाम नंदिनी आणि सिद्धार्थच्या संबंधांवर होतो. दोघांची उगाचच वादावादी होते, सिद्धार्थ नंदिनीवर रागवतो. हे सगळे झाल्यावर नंदिनीला शंका येते कि सिद्धार्थ तिच्या पासून काहीतरी लपवून ठेवतोय. त्यात भर म्हणून पोस्टाने एक पाकीट येते. त्यात सिद्धार्थचे लग्न झालेले फोटो नंदिनीला सापडतात. ते बघून नंदिनी खूपच अस्वथ होते. आणि आता हे नक्की काय प्रकरण आहे हे शोधून काढायचे ठरवते. अर्थातच हे सगळे ती सिद्धार्थच्या अपरोक्ष करत असते. सिद्धार्थला याबद्दल काहीच कल्पना नसते.

सगळ्यात प्रथम नंदिनी सिद्धार्थचा खूप जवळचा मित्र प्रसादला भेटते. प्रसाद तिला सुरवातीला सांगण्याची टाळमटाळ करतो. पण नंदिनी जेव्हा त्याला पोस्टाने आलेले फोटो दाखवते, तेव्हा मात्र तो खोटे बोलू शकत नाही. तो नंदिनीला सगळी गोष्ट सांगायचे काबुल करतो, जेणे करून नंदिनीच्या मनात कुठलीही शंका राहणार नाही. आता नक्की या गोष्टीमध्ये काय असते, त्या फोटोमध्ये असलेले सिद्धार्थचे लग्न ही काय भानगड आहे हे बघा "तू ही रे" मधे. 

सिनेमा चांगला आहे. पण सुरवातीचे सिद्धार्थ आणि नंदिनीचे प्रेम दाखवून स्टोरी खूप लांबवली आहे असे वाटले. त्यात खूप जास्त वेळ गेला आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे पिहुचे बरेच संवाद फारच आगावू वाटतात सिनेमात प्रेमाचा त्रिकोण आहे हे लवकरच उघड होते. पण त्याचा शेवट नक्की कसा होतोय हे बघण्याची उत्सुकता मात्र लागून राहते. सिनेमाचा शेवट अपेक्षित असाच आहे. पण क्लायमॅक्स जवळ आल्यावर नक्की काय शेवट असेल अशी उत्सुकता वाटते. सिनेमा बघावाच असे काही नाही, पण बघितल्यास फार पश्चाताप होणार नाही. सई ताम्हणकर खूपच चांगली दिसतेय तिने काम पण चांगले केलय. अर्थात भैरवीच्या भूमिकेत तेजस्विनी पंडित चांगली दिसतेय. 

हा सिनेमा बघितला असल्यास किंवा इतर काही प्रतिक्रिया असल्यास  द्याव्या. 

Nandini is a girl from a rich family in a village. She gets married to Sidhharth, who is a city guy and an engineer. First chance she gets to talk to him, she tells him that she intended to love someone, and then marry the same person, but now that she is married to him, she will be very faithful to him.

Fast forward eight years, now Nandini and Sidhharth have a daughter called Pihu. Shdhharth has become engineering manager in a private company. Nandini is also working as a receptionist in another company. Both Nandini and Sidhharth are totally in love with each other and the the family of three is very happy family. 

One day, when Sidhharth reaches office, he meets a high official. Sidhharth looked shocked to see him, but pretends nothing has happened. The person is suppose to sign a very big deal with the company. He offers Sidhharth to sign the contract on condition that Sidhharth should let him take care of Nandini, and he will do it in much better way. Sidhharth keeps quiet and does not even mentions this to Nandini.

Sidhharth is very disturbed by the offer and his behavior changes at home with family. Him and Nandini have frequent arguments without much reason. At that point Nandini starts thinking there is something going on in Sidhharth's mind, which he is not talking out. To add fuel to this suspicion Nandini receives a envelop with photographs showing Sidhharth getting married. This now causes turmoil in Nandini's mind. She decides to find out the truth behind all this, without confronting Sidhharth. Sidhharth is totally unaware of Nandini's struggle. 

Nandini starts with Prasad, who is Sidhharth best friend and knows him for years. He was also there in one of the photos that Nandini received. Prasad denies any knowledge of this, but when Nandini confronts him with the photographs, he agrees to tell her everything in detail, so that there is no confusion in her mind. Now telling you what was the incidences that Prasad narrates would be spoiler and should be watched in the movie "Tu hi re".

Cinema is good. But goes bit slow while Sidhharth and Nandini's happy married life is continuing. But later catches some good pace. Pihu seems to be over smart and bit of over acting. The love triangle is known but still remains interesting for a while. Close to climax, the story line is clear but continues well till the end. Both Sai Tamhankar and Tejaswini Pandit are looking good and acted well. Won't recommend movie as must watch but a good pass time.

मुंबई-पुणे-मुंबई - २ (Mumbai - Pune - Mumbai - 2 )

पहिल्या चित्रपटात असलेल्या मिस मुंबई चे नाव गौरी देशपांडे, आणि मिस्टर पुणे यांचे नाव गौतम प्रधान. आता या दोघांनी लग्न कारण्याचे ठरवले आहे.  घरातील सगळी मंडळी खुश असतात. गौरीच्या घरी तिचेआई-वडील, बहिण रश्मी, लग्न न झालेली मावशी, गौरीची मैत्रीण मैत्रीण तनुजा यांच्या उत्साहाला उधाण आलेले असते. तर गौतमच्या घरी, त्याचे आई-वडील, आजी आणि इतर नातेवाइक भयंकर खुश असतात.

आता दोघांचे फोन, SMS, WhatsApp वर मॅसेज पाठवणे असे सगळे सुरु असते, पण अजून साखरपुडा झालेला नसतो. गौरीच्या आईला साखरपुडा करावा आणि लग्न करून दोघांचा संसार लवकर सुरु करावा असे वाटते. मग बोलणी सुरु होतात. साखरपुडा होतो. आता दोघांना लायसन्स मिळालय त्यामुळे दोघे पण तसे आनंदात असतात, एकत्र भेटणे वगेरे सुरु असते.

तसेच एकदा गौरी, गौतमशी बोलत असताना, तिला तिचा आधीचा मित्र अर्णव भेटतो. तो तिला पूर्वी झालेल्या प्रकाराबद्दल माफी मागतो आणि म्हणतो कि मला तुझ्या शिवाय खूप त्रास होतोय. तेव्हा गौरी म्हणते, कि मी आता खूप पुढे निघून गेलीय आणि आता तिला गौतमशी लग्न करायचे आहे. हे ऐकल्यावर अर्णवला खूप दुख होते, तो म्हणतो लग्न झाल्यावर तू माझ्याशी कॉन्टॅक्ट ठेवशील न, मी फोन केला तर गप्पा मारशील न. गौरी अर्थातच त्याला हो म्हणते.

तर एकदा गौरी आणि गौतम भेटतात तेव्हाच नेमका अर्णवचा फोन येतो आणि तो तिला विचारतो कि त्याला एका लग्नाच्या कपड्यांची ऑर्डर मिळालीय आणि त्यात नवऱ्या मुलीचे कपडे डिझाईन करण्यासाठी, गौरीची मदत हवीय. गौरी गौतमला विचारून अर्णवला हो म्हणते. अर्थात हा निर्णय गौरीच्या घरच्यांना आवडत नाही. पण गौतमच्या मते, गौरीने कोणाबरोबर काम करावे, हे तिचे तिने ठरवावे आणि अर्णव बद्दल त्याच्या मनात काहीच घृणा नसते. गौरीला या प्रसंगात गौतमच्या मनाचा मोठेपणा जाणवतो. पण एका अश्याच भेटीत, जेव्हा गौरी मुंबईहून पुण्याला येते आणि गौतम तिला घ्यायला येऊ शकत नाही, तेव्हा मात्र गौरी खूप चिडते. आणि तेव्हा पासून तिच्या मनात आपण गौतमशी लग्न करावे कि नाही या बद्दल शंका येणे सुरु होते. तिच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, लग्न ठरल्याने तिने तिच्या आयुष्यातील प्रायारीटीज बदलल्या आहेत तश्याच गौतमने देखील बदलायला हव्यात. पण तसे काही तिला दिसून येत नाहीये, त्यामुळे तिला अजून विचार करायला वेळ हवाय. गौरीचा गौतमशी लग्न करण्याबद्दल नक्की काय विचार होतो  हे बघा "मुंबई-पुणे-मुंबई २" या सिनेमात.

पहिल्या मुंबई-पुणे-मुंबई सिनेमाने या सिनेमाची अपेक्षा खूपच उंचावून ठेवली, त्या उंचावलेल्या अपेक्षेला मात्र हा सिनेमा नक्कीच उतरला नाहीये. सिनेमात खूपच पात्र आहेत. आपण सुरज बडजात्याचा हिंदी सिनेमा बघतोय कि काय असे वाटू लागते, एकूण लग्नाची तयारी त्यावेळी दाखवेलेले एक प्रसंग बघुन. त्याचप्रमाणे सिनेमात नक्की काय होणार ह्याचा अंदाज येतो. सिनेमा खूपच लांबवला आहे. बऱ्याच गोष्टी तर्कात बसत नाहीत. उदाहरणार्थ , जेव्हा गौतम, गौरीला एक भेटवस्तू म्हणून एक G अक्षर असेलेले लॉकेट देतो, तेव्हा ती ते घ्यायला नकार देते, कारण तिला G म्हणजे गौतम असे  अक्षर नको असते . हे मात्र अगदीच तर्काला धरून वाटले नाही. सिनेमाचा शेवटी देखील गौरीचे संवाद चांगले वाटले नाहित. एकूण सिनेमा बघावाच असा आहे, असे पहिल्या सिनेमासारखे छातीठोक पणे म्हणता येणार नाही. सिनेमाची कथा जरी मार खाणारी असली, तरी कलाकारांनी त्यांच्या त्यांच्या भूमिकेला उत्तम न्याय दिला आहे. एकूण ममराठमोळे लग्न बघतोय असा मात्र या सिनेमात नक्कीच वाटत नाही

This is continuation of the movie Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai. Miss Mumbai is Gauri Deshpande and Mr. Pune is Gautam Pradhan. After their long meeting in Pune in part 1, they have decided to get married. Both the family members are really happy and excited about the marriage ceremony. Gauri has her parents at home and her younger sister. She also has an unmarried aunt and a very close friend Tanuja. Gautam has his parents and Grand mother at home. All his family members and cosines are super excited too.

Both of them are in constant contact using Phone, SMS, What'sapp etc. They are not officially engaged yet but Gauri's mother wants this to happen soon. She is looking forward to official engagement followed by marriage ceremony at the earliest. Finally the two families meet and formalize the engagement and the preparation of wedding function start in full swing. Both Gauri and Gautam are also happy and start looking for opportunities to meet.

One of these days, Gauri meets her ex boyfriend Arnav. He apologize about the earlier incidents and confesses that he is finding it difficult to live without her. But Gauri tells him firmly, that the time has passed and she has moved forward in life now. She tells him that she is planning to get married to Gautam soon. Arnav is shocked and asks her, if she will still maintain contact with him and meet him sometime as a friend. Gauri graciously agrees.

Once while talking to Gautam, she receives a call from Arnav. He wants to know if she could help him in his work, he has received a fashion design contract for a high profile wedding and wants Gauri to help with costume design for the bride. Gauri gets Gautam's permissions and agrees to work on the assignment. Gautam feels that Gauri should decide what and with whom she wants to work, but Gauri's family is not happy with this new job contract. Gauri learns about Gautam through this incidence. 

Soon Gautam misses an appointment with Gauri, due to his work, he was not able to pick up Gauri from Train station when she came to visit him for some shopping for the wedding, and requests her to take an auto rikshaw and come over to the place he was. At that moment, Gauri starts doubting Gautam's behavior and she feels if he starts ignoring her later once they are married, or changes his priorities, she will be stuck. She tells this to Gautam on face, and tells she is not sure if she should go ahead with this relationship or not, and she needs time. How much time does she take? Is she finally convinced and gets married or not? Watch this is the sequel Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2

The first movie was really good and like most sequels, this fails to live by the expectations. This movie has lot many actors than the first one which had only two. But they all were not utilized that well, specially Prashant Damale. During the marriage preparation song sequence, the movie felt like big budget Hindi movie by Suraj Badajatya. The movie gets very predictable at times. Also the movie feels too slow and lengthy at times. Towards end of the the movie, the dialogues are not that sharp and interesting as most of the other works of Satish Rajwade. The story line is not that interesting but the actors have managed to pull off a decent performance to manage that lacunae. Finally if you are fan of Swapnil - Mukta pair, you might enjoy the movie.

अगं बाई अरेच्च्या २ (Aga Bai Arechcha 2)

शुभांगी कुडाळकर हि एक वयस्क तरुणी लग्न न ठरल्यामुळे तशी जरी दुखी असते. पण लहान पणापासून हिने लग्नाची स्वप्ने बघितलेली असतात. आता लग्न न ठरल्याने जिथे लग्न असेल तिथे गेल्यावर हिला बऱ्याच टोमण्यांचा सामना करावा लागतो. याला कंटाळून शुभांगी उर्फ शुभा हि गोव्याला जाउन राहायचे ठरवते. घरातील आर्थिक परिस्थिती चांगली असते. भाऊ देवेश हा सी ए असतो. घरातील सगळेच लोक शुभावर प्रेम करत असतात. शुभाला एका जन्मजात शाप असतो, कि हिचे ज्या पुरुषावर प्रेम असेल, व त्या पुरुषाचे देखील शुभावर प्रेम असेल तर, शुभाने त्या पुरुषाला हात लावला तर त्यावर काहीतरी संकट येइल किंवा त्याला काही अपघात तरी होतिल. तर हिच्या जीवनावर एक पुस्तक लिहायचे म्हणून विक्रम देसाई नावाचा लेखक तिच्याकडे येतो. सुरवातीला तर हि त्याला उडवून लावते. पण मग जशी ओळख होते, तशी हि तिच्या जीवनातील एक एक पुरुष आणि त्यांच्या बरोबर घडलेले किस्से सांगू लागते.

ही जेव्हा अगदी ७-८ वर्षाची असते तेव्हा एक छोटा मुलगा तिला आवडतो आणि त्याला पण ही आवडते,ओळख होण्या पूर्वीच हे दोघे एकमेकांचे हात हातात घेतात आणि त्याला अपघात होतो. तेव्हा तर हिला काही समजत नाही. पण जेव्हा ११-१२ वर्षाची होते तेव्हा एक प्रल्हाद किस्मिसे नावाचा एक १३-१४ वर्षाचा मुलगा हिच्याशी मैत्री करतो आणि मग ते दोघे असेच एका देवळात जाउन लग्न करतात. हे लग्न म्हणजे एक पोरखेळ असतो आणि त्यानंतर जेव्हा हे दोघे ठरवतात कि आपण एक दिवस ट्रीपला जायचे तेव्हा अचानक  शुभाच्या वडिलांना यांचा प्लॅन कळतो आणि या प्रल्हादला शिक्षा घडवायला म्हणून ते जातात, आणि त्या झटापटीत प्रल्हाद्ची सायकल झाडावर आपटते आणि मग त्याला बरेच लागते व तो गाव सोडून निघून जातो.

हिच्या जीवनात तिसरा पुरुष येतो, तो जेव्हा शुभा कॉलेज मध्ये असते तेव्हा. राहुल सावंत हा एक क्रिकेट खेळाडू असतो व त्यावर कॉलेज मधील सगळ्याच मुली फिदा असतात. पण राहुल शुभावर फिदा होतो. आणि एका क्रिकेट मॅचमध्ये राहुल शुभाचा हात धरतो, आणि मग धुवाधार बॅटींग करतो, पण  मॅच संपल्यावर त्याचा अपघात होतो. हे सगळे झाल्यावर शुभाच्या मानत असे येते कि जेव्हा ती तिला आवडणाऱ्या पुरुषाला हात लावते तेव्हा त्याच्यावर काहीतरी गदा येते, त्यामुळे ती आता कुठल्याही पुरुषावर प्रेम करायचे नाही असे ठरवते. पण आता तिचे आई-वडील एका मुलगा लग्नासाठी शोधतात नरेंद्र चकवे. या नरेंद्राला किडे पाळण्याचा फार शौक असतो. शुभाला वाटते कि आता प्रेम करून मग लग्न करण्यापेक्षा आपण आणि लग्न ठरवून मग प्रेम केले आणि मग त्या व्यक्तीला हात लावला तर कदाचित त्या पुरुषाला काही होणार नाही. पण दैववशाने नरेंद्रला किडा चावतो आणि त्याचा कानाचा पडदा फाटतो.

या प्रसंगा नंतर नरेंद्रच्या घरातील लोक लग्नासाठी तयार होत नाहीत. पण नरेंद्रला शुभा खूप आवडली असते, त्यामुळे तो तिच्याशीच लग्न करायचे ठरवतो. त्यात पण बरेच गोंधळ होतात, ते नक्की काय गोंधळ असतात, शुभाला  आयुष्यात खरच कोणी जोडीदार म्हणून मिळतो कि नाही, तिचा शाप हा खरच असतो का कि हि तिची अंधाश्रद्धा असते हे बघा "अगं बाई अरेच्च्या २" मधे.

सिनेमा चांगला आहे. जरी सुरवातीला थोडासा विचित्र मजेशीर वाटत असला, तरी नंतर सिनेमा चांगला फुलतो. आणि आता पुढे काय होणार अशी उत्सुकता लागून राहते. सिनेमा प्रेडीक्टेबल  नाही. मध्ये मध्ये सोनाली कुलकर्णी चे मेकअप थोडेसे वेगळे वाटते. वयाच्या प्रत्येक फेजमध्ये वेगळी कलाकार शुभाचे काम करायला आणली आहे. सिनेमा फ्लॅशबॅक मध्ये थोडा थोडा आहे. एकूण सिनेमा बघावाच असे नाही पण बघितल्यास कंटाळा निश्चित येणार नाही. सिनेमाचे नाव "अगं बाई अरेच्च्या २" का दिलाय हे मात्र नाही समजू शकले. कारण पहिल्या अगं बाई अरेच्च्या सिनेमाशी त्याचा काहीच संबंध जाणवला नाही.



Shubhangi Kudalkar is a unmarried lady in her late twenties. She is sad because even though she has a childhood dream to get married and have a family, she is not married yet. Since she is still unmarried, every function she attends, she has to face some taunting. She is fed up with this and decides to move to Goa and stays alone in the family house there for some time. Her family is well to do, her brother Devesh, is a chartered accountant. Her family consists of parents, grandmother and Devesh. They all love her very much. But she has a curse, any boy who loves her, after he touches her or she touches him will meet with some event injuring him. One publisher comes to know of her story and hires a author to write a novel about her. Vikram Desai approaches her for the task. Initially she is not at all interested and just drives him out. But Vikram is very persistent and finally was able to convince Shubha to talk to him. Shubha slowly starts opening up ans starts sharing stories of her life events.

Her first memory was when she was about 7-8 years. One of her neighboring kid get friendly with her, and they just hold hands. Within minutes, he was hit by a ball and gets injured. She does not take this seriously. At the age of about 12, she gets friendly with a boy of 13. His name is Pralhad Kismise. They are too young to understand what is marriage, but they go to a temple and get married. They decide to go for one day honeymoon trip to near by town, but are caught by Shubha's dad. While her dad was trying to beat him up. Pralhad runs away with his bicycle but meets with a small accident and get injured. Finally Pralhad leaves the village.

Years pass and Shubha joins college. During her college years, she meets Rahul Savant, the captain of college cricket team. He is really good looking and a heartthrob of the college girls. In the first meeting with Shubha, Rahuls falls for her. They become close. During one of the cricket match, he holds Shubha's hand for best wishes and goes out to score a century. But he meets with a freak accident after his innings and is injured. This makes Shubha believe that if she loves any man, and holds his hands or rather touch each other, the destiny puts the man in trouble. He meets with some accident within 24 hours. Finally after finishing college, her parents start looking for a right relation for her, and Shubha thinks, if there is no love before the marriage, it will be alright. Her parents find Narendra Chakave as a suitable match. Narendra has a hobby for insects and small critters. But he touches Shubha, and within minutes a spider enters Narendra's ears and bites him, damaging his year permanently. 

This puts off Narendra's family and they wanted to cancel this marriage, but Narendra has started liking Shubha and decided to marry her only. But the sailing was not at all smooth. What troubles they have to go through, what happens next, is the curse Shubha has was for real? Is there any solution for that? Watch the Marathi movie "Aga Bai Arechha 2".

This movie is not sequel of the movie Aga Bai Arechha, so we failed to understand the name of the movie.This movies is good and we enjoyed watching it. Initially if felt little like a routine movie, but really flourished after a while. It got really interesting after interval. Sonali Kulkarni looks good and different with makeup. They have used several artist to play Shubha over years. Finally it is not really must watch type, but you may not regret if you decide to watch. Do let us know your views in the comments section.

मितवा (Mitwa)

 शिवम सारंग हा बऱ्याच हॉटेल्स आणि पब्जचा मालक असतो. त्याचा एक दोष म्हणजे त्याला सुंदर मुलगी दिसली कि  तिच्यावर फिदा होतो. शिवम सारंग ची अवनी नावाची एक बिसिनेस पार्टनर असते. अवनी न खरा तर शिवम खूप आवडत असतो, पण शिवमचे लग्न, बंधन, जबाबदारी यावर विश्वास नसतो त्यामुळे तो अवनी बरोबर खूप जवळची मैत्रीण यापेक्षा जास्त काही संबध ठेवू इच्छित नाही. आणि शिवम सारंग खूप श्रीमंत असल्याने त्याच्यावर सगळ्याच मुलींचा तो लाडका असतो.

त्याच्या नवीन हॉटेल मध्ये परदेशी लोकांबरोबर काही बिसिनेस डील होणार असते, आणि त्यानुसार नवीन व्यवसायात काही लोकांची भारती सुरु असते. त्यासाठी मुलाखत द्यायला म्हणून नंदिनी प्रभू येते. नंदिनीला बघाता क्षणीच शिवम सारंग तिच्या प्रेमात पडतो. नंदिनीला नोकरीवर घेतो, पण नंदिनीची अट असते कि ती संध्याकाळी ५ नंतर काम करणार नाही. पण कामाचे स्वरूप असे असते कि तिला संध्याकाळी यायला हवे असे अवनीचे मत असते. नंदिनी म्हणते कि तिला यायला जमणार नाही, आणि त्यामुळे मला नोकरी नकोय. पण शिवम म्हणतो कि ठीक आहे तरीही तुला मी घेइन. अवनी खूप खुश नसते, पण शिवम पुढे तिचे काही चालत नाहि. शिवम काही न काही कारण काढून नंदिनीच्या जवळ जाण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. आणि मग तो त्यात यशस्वी देखील होतो. अवनीला दोघांचे हे इतके जवळ येणे खूप आवडत नाही. पण अवनीचे शिवमवर खूप प्रेम असते त्यामुळे ती सगळे सहन करते.

नंदिनी आणि शिवम दोघांचे असे ठरलेले असते कि फक्त मैत्री करायची त्यापुढे काही कामित्मेंत नाही. पण शिवम  नंदिनीच्या इतक्या प्रेमात पडतो कि तो शेवटी तिला लग्नाची मागणी घालतो. पण नंदिनी धुडकाऊन लावते. याचा परिणाम म्हणून तो एक दिवस स्वताला खोलीत कोंडून घेतो. नंदिनीला खूप काळजी युक्त भीती वाटते, ती त्याला भेटायला जाते आणि शेवटी त्याला स्वताचा भूतकाळ सांगते आणि सांगते कि ती लग्न करेल पण २४ तासातील २ तास ती अश्विनला देइल. हा अश्विन कोण आणि नंदिनी अश्विन साठी दिवसातले दोन तास का देऊ इच्छिते? शिवमला या अटीचा काय त्रास होतो का?  या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे बघा "मितवा" या सिनेमात.

सिनेमा बऱ्यापैकी कंटाळवाणा आहे. सिनेमात दोन-तीन गाणी आहेत. पण फार श्रवणीय आहे असे नाही. एक-दोन वेगवेगळ्या सिनेमांचे मिश्रण करून हा सिनेमा तयार केलाय अस वाटले.



Sivam Sarang is a rich businessman who owns many hotels and pubs. He is a playboy and falls for every beautiful girl he meets. Avani is Shivam's business partner. Avani loves Shivam, but Shivam does not believe in marriage and related responsibilities. So he always looks at Avani as best friends but nothing more than that. Since Shivam is good looking and rich, he has a huge fan followers of girls. 

His hotel has got into a big deal with a international group so he is buy recruiting staff for his hotel. Nandini Prabhu is one of the candidates for interview and Shivam falls for her at the first sight. Shivam immediately hires her, even though she puts a condition that she can not work second shift any time. Nandini frankly tells, that she needs this job desperately, but still she cannot accept the job, if the condition of second shift can not be relaxed. Shivam overrules Avani's objection to this condition and agrees to hire Nandini irrespective. After Nandini was hired, Shivam tries very hard and ultimately was successful to become friends with Nandini. This pains Avani a lot, but she accepts this, due to her love for Shivam. 

Nandini accepts Shivam's friendship on the condition that they will only remain only friends and nothing more.  Shivam inititally agrees, but at some point he was not able to control himself and proposes Nandini. Nandini ruthlessly denies his proposal. Shivam locks himself in the room and Nandini gets worried about him. Finally she meet him and explains him the whole background and accepts to marry him on the condition that after marriage Shivam will permit her two hours per day to be spent with Ashwin and Shivam will never try to invade those two hours. Who is this Ashwin and why Nandini has to commit those two hours to him needs to be watched in the Marathi movie "Mitawa".

The movie is boring and the songs are not that good. The story line seems to be mixture of a few popular movies. If you really love Swapnil Joshi, watch it on you own risk and let us know your views if you have watched it.
