गोड गुपित (God Gupit)

दिनकरराव जोशी, पुण्याला त्यांच्या उतार वयात एकटेच राहत असतात. यांना २ मुले, १ मुलगी. १ मुलगा अमेरिकेला, तर १ मुलगा व १ मुलगी भारतात, पुण्याबाहेर स्थायिक झालेले. दिनकररावांचे मुलांकडे न राहण्याचे तत्व. त्यामुळे पुण्याला त्यांना एकाकी आयुष्य जगावे लागत असते. पण तरी ते त्यात आनंदात असतात. कारण त्यांना त्यांच्या मित्र मंडळींची सोबत असते, त्यात त्यांना नाट्यसंगीताची आवड असते. त्यामुळे सारखी गाणी ऐकत असतात, आणि जिथे कुठे शास्त्रीय संगीताचा कार्यक्रम असेल तिथे जातात.

त्यांच्या ७० वा वाढदिवस जवळ आलेला असतो, त्यासाठी त्यांची सगळी मुलं पुण्याला एकत्र येऊन वाढदिवस साजरा करायचा ठरवतात. या ३ मुलांची, मुले-मुली अशी एकूण ७ नातवंडे दिनकररावांना असतात. सगळेजण घरी आल्यावर घर अगदी भरून जाते. दिनकरराव तसेच त्यांची सगळी मुले, आणि नातवंड खूपच पसारा घालत असतात. तो आवरता आवरता घरात काम करणाऱ्या शोभाताईंना नाकी नऊ येतात. सगळ्या नातवंडांचे आजोबांवर खूप प्रेम असते. त्यात ही मुलं आजोबांची डायरी वाचतात त्यात त्यांना दिनकर रावांची बरीच गुपित कळतात. दिनकररावांना कुत्रा हा प्राणी आवडत असतो, पण पाळलेला नाही. त्यांना नाट्यसंगीत आवडत असते, घरातील एकटेपण त्यांना दुखी करत असते. पसारा करायला आवडतो, पण आवरायला नाही. हे सगळे वाचल्यावर सगळी मुलं ठरवतात की आता आजोबांसाठी आजी शोधणे गरजेचे आहे.

सगळ्या नातवंडांची आजी शोध मोहीम सुरु होते. सकाळी उठल्यावर सगळी मुले घराबाहेर पडतात, आणि चांगल्या वाटणाऱ्या म्हाताऱ्या बायकांच्या मागे जातात, विशेषता ज्या बायकांना गाण्याची आवड असते अश्या. बऱ्याच मजे-मजेशीर आज्या भेटतात. काहींची लग्न झालेली असतात, काही आधी ठीक वाटतात, मग वेड्या निघतात वगेरे वगेरे. मग अचानक त्यांना एक अनाथालय चालवणारी आजी भेटते, उषाताई केळकर. ह्यांच्या कडे ३०-४० मुलं असतात. अनाथाश्रमात वाढलेली, पण आता मोठी झालेली, मधुराणी, व आदेश हे दोघे असतात. हे तिघे मिळून हे अनाथालय चालवत असतात. उषाताई उर्फ माई यांना पण नाट्यसंगीताची आवड असते, मुख्य म्हणजे दिनकरराव आणि माई यांच्या आवडी जुळतात. आता नातवंड ठरवतात की या दोघांची वारंवार भेट घडवून आणायची, जेणेकरून त्या दोघांना एकमेकांबद्दल जिव्हाळा, आपुलकी, प्रेम वाटेल. आणि हे सगळे घरातील मोठ्यांपासून लपवून करायचे. कारण घरातील मोठे कदाचित या सगळ्या गोष्टीला नकार देतील. मुलं बऱ्याच काही क्लुप्त्या काढून या दोघांना जवळ आणण्याचा प्रयत्न करतात. पण शेवटी त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांना यश येते का ?, घरातील मोठी माणसे मुलांच्या या उपक्रमाला साथ देतात का ? दिनकररावांचे एकाकी पण संपते का? हे बघा "गोड गुपित" या सिनेमामध्ये.
सिनेमा मला स्वताला काही खूप आवडला नाही. कथानक जरी जरा गमतीशीर असले, तरी मनावर एकदम पकड घेत नाही. सिनेमात बहुतेक सगळे नवीन कलाकार घेतले आहेत. त्यामुळे सगळ्यांची अक्टिंग अगदीच सुमार आहे. रीमा लागू आणि दिलीप प्रभावळकर असून देखील हवा तितका प्रभाव पाडू शकलेले नाहीत. आजी शोधण्याच्या मोहिमेत ज्या गमती जमती दाखवल्या आहेत त्यात हसू मात्र नक्की येते. सिनेमातील नाट्यसंगीत ठीक आहे. एकूण सिनेमा बोअर या पठडीतील आहे असे म्हणीन. पण लहान मुलांना कदाचित आवडू शकतो.

तुम्ही सिनेमा बघितला असल्यास, बघितल्यानंतर किंवा मी लिहिलेल्या परीक्षणावर तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया अवश्य लिहा.
Dinkarrao Joshi, is an senior citizen staying in Pune in his own bungalow. He is retired, has two sons and a daughter. One son is settled in US and other two in Bangalore. Because all his children are away, he is leading a lonely life. Fortunately he is an active person with senior citizen's groups. He has passion for classical music and a special liking for "Natya Snageet". So he is enjoing life.

As he is turning 70, all his children and grand children decide to come together and celebrate his birthday. This would also give them opportunity to spend some time together. And also is possible they want to convince him to join them rather than staying alone. All the family consisting of 3 children, 3 spouses and 7 children, land up in Pune. All are having gala time there. Poor Shobhatai, their household maid is having tough time keeping the house in order. All the grandchildren love Dinkarrao very much.

Grandchildren realize that though he is pretending to be very happy, he tends to feel very lonely at times. They all consult among themselves, and decide that best thing to do will be find a partner for Dinkarrao, that is a grandmother. So children list his likings and also question him indirectly to find a right match for him.

Grandchildren secretly start the search mission. They meet very interesting characters in the process. FInally they meet a very loving and caring lady Ushatai. She is running an orphanage with help of Adesh and Madhu. She is taking care of 30-40 children in the place called rightly as "Savli". So children explore more find out that most of the likings are matching with Dinkarrao. Both are fans of "Natya Sangeet". Children make sure that they get to meet more often. They had a tough task in front of them since they have to do it all without letting their parents know about it.

Watch the movie "God Gupeet"to find out if they are successful, if the get support for the elders, could they find solution to Dinkarrao's loneliness.

The movie is not really a must watch but okay type. Deelip Prabhavalkar and Reema Lagoo are good, but they do not have much scope in the roles. Most of the remaining actors are not as good. Some parts are hilarious specially when the kids are desperately looking for a prospective Grandmother. Kids may like the movie, but may not impress most of the elders.

सावली (Savali)

रमाबाई शिरोडकर या खुप मोठ्या गायिका असतात. त्यांची मुलगी सानिका व अजुन एक विद्यार्थिनी राधा या दोघी रमाबाईकड़े संगीताचे शिक्षण घेत असतात. सानिका खुप सुन्दर गाते कारण घरात सतत सुरु असलेला अभ्यास तिच्या कानावर पडत असतोच आणि तिचा स्वताचा आवाज गोड असतो. रमाबाईला सानिकाची खुप जास्त स्तुती केलीली आवडत नाही. त्यांच्या मते लहानपणी खूप जास्त स्तुती केली तर चांगले नसते आणि सानिकाला अजून खूप रियाझ करण्याची गरज आहे.



सानिकाचे वडील वनस्पतीशात्रातील मोठे प्राध्यापक असतात. ते रमाबाईला समजावतात कि तू सानिकाबरोबर खूप कडक शिस्तीमध्ये वागतेस त्यामुळे सानिकाला त्याचा त्रास होतो. सानिकाने गाणी म्हटली कि सगळे लोक म्हणतात, कि रमाबाईची मुलगी आहे चांगल म्हणणारच. आणि गाणं नीट जमले नाही कि म्हणतात कि रमाबाईची मुलगी असून गाणं जमत नाहीये. या सारख्या होत असलेल्या "comparison" मुळे सानिकाला एक प्रकारचा तिटकारा येतो.



त्यामुळे तिला आई बरोबर स्पर्धा करण्याची व आई पेक्षा काहीतरी वेगळं करावे असे सतत वाटू लागते. त्या भरात ती घर सोडून एक Orchestra ग्रुपला सामील होते. व त्यांच्या बरोबर गाणं म्हणू लागते. आई व वडील दोघांना पण त्याचा खूप त्रास होतो. पण दोघेही मनाची समजूत घालतात, कि आता सानिका मोठी झाली आहे व स्वताचे बरं-वाईट तिला समजत. सानिका व विकी हे दोघे एक CD काढतात, पण त्याची काही खास विक्री होत नाही. व त्यामुळे हे खचून जातात. शेवटी सानिकाला काहीतरी वेगळे करण्यात यश मिळते का, तिचा तिच्या आईबद्दलचा ग्रह बदलतो का हे बघा "सावली" मध्ये.



सिनेमा सुंदर आहे. त्यातील गाणी तर अप्रतिम आहेत. सगळे कसलेले कलाकार आहेत त्यामुळे सिनेमा उत्तमच झाला आहे. एखाद्या मोठ्या व्यक्तीच्या पोटी जन्माला येण्याचे जसे फायदे तसेच तोटे देखील असू शकतात. सावलीत वाढण्यारा रोपाला किती मानसिक ताण सहन करावा लागत असेल हे यातून दिसते. पण सानिकाला असे सारखे का वाटत असते कि सानिकाची आणि तिच्या आईची स्पर्धा आहे हे मला नीटसे समजले नाही. कदाचित बालवयापासून सारखी आईसारखी तू आहेस असे सांगितल्यामुळे तिला त्रास होतो, असे वाटते.




सिनेमा बघण्यासारखा निश्चित आहे. सिनेमाचा शेवट देखील चांगला आणि वेगळा केला आहे. जरूर बघा. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया निश्चित कळवा.




Sanika is daughter of famous classical singer Ramabai Shorodkar. Sanika is undergoing music training with her mother along with another student Radha. Sanika has inherited talent for singing from he mother. Her father is a Botany professor in a college. Ramabai did not like anyone praising Sanika and feels she needs to work hard and earn her due credit.



Sanika develops hate for being compared with her mother or taken for granted as Ramabai's daughter. Whenever she does well, she gets to hear "After all she is Ramabai's daughter", and whenever it is not up to the mark, she will get to hear "she should do better, she is Ramabai's daughter". As she grows into a young lady, this hate and tension within the mother and daughter becomes unbearable to her and at a spur of a moment, she quits her home and joins an orchestra group.



Viki the group leader of the orchestra is a creative musician and is trying to establish in the industry. Sanika and Viki put in lot of efforts and bring out an music album, but unfortunately it does not fetch them good response or money. What happens next is better watched in the movie.




The movie is really good and worth watching. The songs by Swapnil Bandodkar are really good. It seems to be one of his early works. All the actors are good and in general the story is depicted really well, in Goa. The initially unsaid and then openly expressed tension between the two is picturized well. The characters are very well suited.

सैल (Sail)

वादळी वारा, मुसळधार पाऊस सुरु असताना विद्याधर आडोसा शोधात असतो आणि अचानक त्याची विद्याशी गाठ पडते. विद्याला बघून विद्याधर चाट पडतो. या बाईशी आपली अशी घाठ पडेल असे त्याला स्वप्नात पण वाटले नसते. राजकारणात पडून नावाजलेली आणि अनुभवी झालेली विद्या जीव मुठीत धरून लपते आहे हे समजल्यावर त्याला खूपच आश्चर्य वाटते. पैश्याच्या मागे लागलेला विद्याधर प्रोफेसर झाला आहे हे समजल्यावर विद्या पण चमकते. पैश्याचा लोभ आणि राजकारणाचा मोह यामुळे कुटुंबाची कशी दैना झाली, हे प्रेक्षकांसमोर येते. एका गोजिरवाण्या कुटुंबाची ताटातूट होते. जरी दोघे दूर असले तरी दोघांचे एकमेकांवरचे प्रेम कमी झालेले नाही याचा साक्षात्कार दोघांना झाल्यावर दोघे नव्याने आयुष्य सुरु करायचे ठरवतात. वादळ ओसरल्यावर एकत्र घरी जाण्याचे ठरवतात, तितक्यात राजकारणातील काही उलाथापालाथीत पुन्हा विद्याचा जयजयकार सुरु होतो. आता या निर्णायक क्षणी विद्या काय करते हे बघा "सैल" मध्ये.

या सिनेमात फक्त दोनच पात्र आहेत. संपूर्ण सिनेमा रात्रीतून उलगडतो. भूतकाळ फक्त बोलण्यातून कळतो. त्यासाठी फ़्लँशबँक चा उपयोग केलेला नाहीये. मोहन जोशी आणि रीमा लागू यांच्या अभिनय सुंदर. फार वेगळा सिनेमा आहे असे मी म्हणणार नाही. मोहन जोशी आणि रीमा लागू तुम्हाला आवडत असल्यास हा सिनेमा जरून बघा. बघितल्यावर पश्चाचाताप होणार नाही याची खात्री आहे.

Vidyadhar meets vidya accidentally while looking for shelter, when his car breaks down in a thunderstorm in outskirts of the city. He approaches a nearby farm house and convinces the security guard to let him in till storm subsides. This a very interesting drama unfolded within just these two characters Vidyadhar and Vidya. They are separated husband and wife meeting after several years. Both had great ambitions, Vidyadhar wants to make lot of money while Vidya is interested in politics. Vidya was hiding in the farm house due to some political problem.

Their life stories in reveled in the course of their conversations in the whole night. The difference from other movies is, not a single flashback is used and still the movie remains interesting binding the viewers to their chairs. The movie ends with the breaking of dawn with a unexpected twist. Very good acting by both Reema and Mohan Joshi. If you like drama, do not miss this movie.

नितळ (Nital)

कथा आहे "नीरजा कौशिक" या एका अत्यंत हुशार डॉक्टरची. नीरजा जरी एक हुशार डॉक्टर असली तरीही तिचे आयुष्य इतके सरळ सोपे नसते. तिला डागाळलेल्या चेहऱ्याचा शाप असतो. तिला कोड असतं आणि ते मुखत्वेकरून चेहरा आणि हात यावर असतं. तिच्या हुशार, मनमिळावू, प्रेमळ स्वभावाच्या प्रेमात "अनन्या रानडे" पडतो. तो तिला बंगलोरहुन पुण्याच्या घरी घेऊन जातो आणि मग रानडेच्या कुटुंबात जे वादळ सुरु त्याचे यथार्थ चित्रण या सिनेमात केले आहे.

अत्यंत पुरोगामी विचाराचे रानडे खरंच किती पुरोगामी असतात याचे दर्शन होते. घरात बरीच मंडळी असतात. सगळ्या लोकांच्या नीरजाला बघून वेगवेगळ्या प्रतिक्रिया होतात. नीरजाला घरी आणेपर्यंत ठाम असलेला अनन्या , घरीतील लोकांचा प्रतिक्रिया बघून खूप confused होतो. काय करावे आणि काय करू नये अश्या संभ्रमात पडतो. पण रानडेच्या घरातील नवीन पिढी नीरजाला समजावून घेते आणि तिचा स्वीकार करायला तयार असते. सिनेमाचा शेवट मात्र खूपच आशादायक केला आहे.


सिनेमातील लोकांच्या प्रतिक्रिया अगदी बघण्यासारख्या आहेत. प्रत्येक माणसाच्या स्वभावानुसार प्रतिक्रिया असतात. रीमा लागू (अनन्याची आत्या), नीरजाला तिचे डाग लपवायला सांगते तर नीना कुलकर्णी (अनन्याची काकू), रानडेच्या घरात कसे सौंदर्याला महत्व देतात ते सांगते. काही लोक तिचा स्वीकार करायला तयार असतात, पण प्रत्यक्ष सांगत नाहीत. अगदी वेगवेगळ्या दृष्टीकोनातून लोकांच्या कोडावरील प्रतिक्रिया दाखवण्याचा सर्वांगसुंदर प्रयत्न केला आहे. दीपा श्रीराम (अनन्याची आजी) नीरजाला स्पर्शाने ओळखत असते, त्यामुळे तिच्या दृष्टीने सौंदर्य हे दृष्टीत नसून स्पर्शात असते. त्याप्रमाणे नीरजा सुंदरच असते. नंतर तिला आलेली दृष्टी नीरजाला कसे स्वीकारते ते खरंच बघण्यासारखे आहे. विचारवंत रानडेंच्या भूमिकेत (अनन्याचे आजोबा) विजय तेंडूलकर आहेत.

नीरजा तिच्या लहानपणातील काही प्रसंग जेव्हा सांगते तेव्हा खरंच हृदय द्रवते. देविका दफ्तरदार ची नीरजा मनाला खूपच भावते. तिने या भूमिकेला अगदी योग्य न्याय दिला आहे. सिनेमामध्ये खूपच मोठे कलाकार आहेत व ते आपापल्या भूमिकेत छान शोभून दिसतात. दिग्दर्शकाने कलाकारांची निवड अगदी योग्य केली आहे. सिनेमातील ३ गाणी खूपच सुंदर आहेत. ओठावर घोळत राहतात.

या सिनेमात कोडाविषयी जागरुकता निर्माण करणे व लोकांचे मन स्वच्छ करणे हा उद्देश जर असेल तर तो अगदी सफल झाला आहे असा मला वाटले. अगदी नावाप्रमाणेच सिनेमा "नितळ" आहे. सिनेमा खूपच सुंदर आहे, अजिबात चुकवू नये असा. मला अजून बरेचदा बघायला आवडेल.

सिनेमाच्या विषयावर, माझ्या परीक्षणावर आणि कोडाच्या समस्याबद्दल तुमची मते जरूर लिहा. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रियांची अपेक्षा आहे.

A very thought provoking and intriguing movie on vitiligo. This is a story of a young and intelligent doctor "Neeraja kaushik" whose life is not so easy going because of vitiligo. she has white patches on her hand and face. Doctor is very humane by nature. Ananya Ranade falls in love with Neeraja. Both are working together in Bangalore. Ananya invites Neeraja, who is ophthalmologist to his house in Pune on pretext of examining his grandmother.

Before seeing Neeraja, all family members are very supportive Ananya and Neeraja's relationship. Neeraja comes with carefully choosed presents for each family members. As everyone sees her with Vitiligo, their reactions change. Everyone is taken aback by Ananya choice. After a while, some of them provide solutions to her white patches, some of them reject idea of their relationships. But the younger generation becomes friendly and accepts Neeraja.

The dilemma among intellectual and socially forward "Ranade" family is depicted here strongly. People in the family shows different reaction as per their nature. Reema lagu, who is an actress, suggests Neeraja for makeover. While Nina Kulkarni, who is most beautiful daughter-in-law, tells Neeraja about Ranade's perspective towards their daughter-in-law. Deepa shriram, who is blind folded due to operation, knows Neeraja by touch. So she do not consider her as ugly. But when she starts seeing Neeraja, whether she accepts her or not... should be seen in the movie.

Director has chosen all the characters carefully. All the actors have given justice to their cast. A very good movie indeed. For Non-Marathi audience also, I feel it is worth watching with English subtitles. All the songs in the movie are good
