गुलमोहर (Gulmohar)

  विद्या चौधरी ही एका कॉलेजात लेक्चरर असते. आई वडिलांच्या मनाविरुद्ध हिने पळून जाऊन देवेन चौधरीशी लग्न केले असते. हे खूपच सोशिक, हुशार, मनमिळावू, कष्टाळू असते. देवेनला नाटकात काम करून जम बसवायचा असतो. पण ह्याची काही तत्वे असतात. त्यात तत्वात बसणारी नाटकंच याला करायची असतात. आणि त्याच्या तत्वात बसणारी नाटकं चालत नसल्याने नवीन प्रकारची नाटकं दिग्दर्शक बसवतात. याला त्या नाटकात काम करण्याची संधी मिळते. पण हा ती धुडकावून लावतो. त्यामुळे ह्याला काही त्याला हवी तशी काम मिळत नसतात. त्यामुळे हा जवळपास रिकामटेकडा असल्यासारखा असतो. आता ह्याला नाटकं मिळत नाहीत हे बघून विद्या पुढे शिकते, तिच्या मेहनतीवर, त्याच कॉलेज मध्ये नोकरी मिळवते

पण आरक्षणामुळे हिला तिथे तासावर नोकरी करावी लागते. पण तरीही ही तिथे टिकून राहते, कधीतरी पर्मनंट होईल या आशेवर त्याच कॉलेज मध्ये राहते. प्रिन्सिपल सर तिला काही अनुवाद करण्याचे काम देखील देतात. मिळेल ते काम कष्ट करून करायचे हे हिचे तत्व असते. घर हिच्या आधारावर सुरु असते.

आई वडील गेल्यावर हिची लहान बहिण मीरा पण ह्यांच्याकडे येऊन राहते. मीराचे शिक्षण सुरु असते आणि ती UPSC ची परीक्षा देऊन पुढे करिअर करायचे असे तिने ठरवलेले असते. विद्याच्या कॉलेजमधील राजन नावाच्या लेक्चरर बरोबर मीराचे प्रेम होते, पण घरातील देवेन आणि विद्याचे संबध बघून हिचा लग्नसंस्थेवरील विश्वास उडालेला असतो.

विद्याच्या कॉलेज मध्ये आरक्षणाबद्दल एक आंदोलन सुरू असते. त्या आंदोलनाचा सूत्रधार एक राजकीय पक्ष असतो. पण त्यांनी हाताशी याच कॉलेज मधील काही युवक हाताशी धरलेले असतात. त्यातच एक भगवान म्हणून मुलगा या आंदोलनाचे नेतृत्व करत असतो. तो राजकीय पक्ष त्याला पैसे देत असतात व राहायला एक गोडाऊन. विद्याला समजत असते, कि भगवान हा खूप हुशार मुलगा आहे, पण याची दिशाभूल केली जात आहे.

तसा विद्याचा या आंदोलनाशी काहीच संबध नसतो. ती तिच्या काळज्यामध्ये व्यस्त असते. त्यात तिला बातमी कळते कि तिला पर्मनंट होणार अशी बातमी कळते. ती खूप आनंदात असते. पण देवेनला त्याचा काहीच आनंद होते नाही. विद्याला हे समजत असते कि देवेन त्याच्या अपयशाने त्रस्त झालेला आहे आणि त्यामुळे हिचे यश त्याला बघवत नाहीये. पण तरीही हि या सगळ्याचा स्वीकार करते. या सगळ्यावर अजून एक संकट म्हणून कि काय, विद्याला कळते कि ती आई होणार आहे. तिच्या मते आता त्यांनी हे मुल ठेवायला पाहिजे, पण देवेनला ते नको असते. या मुद्यावरून दोघांमध्ये खूप भांडण होते. देवेन हिला खूप मारहाण करतो.

ती दुखात घर सोडून बाहेर पडते. पण बाहेर पडून जाणार तरी कोठे? ती अशीच जखमी अवस्थेत बसलेली असताना भगवान तिला बघतो. तो तिला त्याच्या गोडाऊन वर घेऊन येतो आणि ते दोघे ती रात्र गोडाऊन मध्ये काढतात.... आता या गोष्टीचा पुढे काय परिणाम होतो, विद्याला कॉलेज मध्ये या गोष्टीला कसे तोंड द्यावे लागते ? देवेन आणि विद्याचे संबध सुधारतात का ? शेवटी विद्या, भगवान, मीरा, आणि देवेन यांच्या जीवनात त्यांना हवा असलेला गुलमोहर फुलतो का हे बघा "गुलमोहर" या सिनेमामध्ये.

मला सिनेमा आवडला. पण तो सगळ्यांना आवडेलच कि नाही हे सांगणे जरा कठीण जातंय. विद्या तिच्या नवऱ्याचे इतके हट्ट का पुरविते असा प्रश्न मात्र नक्कीच पडतो. रजत कपूरचे मराठी उच्चार नीट नाहीत. त्याने यावर अजून जास्त मेहनत घ्यायला हवी होती असे वाटते. "सगळीच स्वप्न नाही तुटत रे भगवान. फांदी तुटली म्हणून, नवा कोंब येण्याचा थांबत नाही." हे वाक्य आवडले. सोनाली कुलकर्णी आवडत असल्यास हा सिनेमा बघा. लहान मुलांबरोबर बघण्यासारखा सिनेमा नाही. कारण हा सिनेमा मुलांच्या डोक्यावरून निश्चित जाईल.

Vidya Chaudhari is a lecturer in a college. She has married Deven Chaudhari, against will of her parents. She is a bright, hard working, friendly and tolerant person. Deven is an theater actor and wants to make a career in that. But he has some principles, and he accepts the plays that fit into his framework. With changing times, he hardly finds any of those that fit this and most of the times Deven is jobless. When he gets some work, he is not happy with that. Because of all this, Vidya works hard, continues her education and gets a lecturer's job in a college.

Due to quotas and reservations, he has to work on temporary positions and gets paid only on hourly basis. She is continuing on the faith that one day she will get a regular job and ultimately a tenure position. The principal of the college is a nice man and help her with some job works like translations etc. She has been working hard to run her family.

Her parents pass away and her sister Meera too joins them. Meera is still a student and has a dream of writing UPSC examination and get into Government Administrative Services. Meera is dating a lecturer called Rajan, who teaches in the same college as Vidya. But looking at Vidya and Deven's relationship now, she is really not sure of the whole institution of marriage.

There is a movement in the college about the reserved quotas for certain sections of students. This is run by a political party in the background, and are supporting few college students. Bhagwan is one of the leaders in that. He is paid by the political party and they have also made a go-down available for him to stay. Vidya is pained looking at Bhagwan, because he is a bright and has good future, but being used by the politicians. 

Vidya is not bothered of this reservations movement, since she is very busy herself with her own problems at home and college. But she get the sweet news that she is going to get tenure position. She is really happy with the news, but Deven is not at all happy with this. Vidya understands his situation, that he is frustrated with his own failure, and so he is not able to enjoy it. During these days Vidya gets another good news that she is going to be mother. She is really happy with this news, and want the child very much. But Deven is not in a situation to accept this and want her to abort the child. They get into a argument and end up in a scuffle and Deven beating her badly.

In this shock in sadness, she quits the home and moving out aimlessly. While sitting by the roadside and injured, Bhagvan sees her, and with intention of helping her, brings her to his home in the go-down. She spends the night in the go-down with Bhagwan and this leads into consequences of different nature. What kind of problems Vidya has to face in the college ? Was Deven able to patch up with Vidya ofter all this ? What happens in the lives of Vidya, Deven, Meera, Bhagvan watch in the movie Gulmohor.

सावर रे (Savar re)

इंद्रायणी उर्फ इंदू, व मुक्ता ह्या दोघी बहिणी. एका छोट्याश्या गावात राहत आईबरोबर असतात. वडील लहानपणीच गेलेले, त्यामुळे आईने दोघींना सांभाळलेले असते. मुक्ताला शिकवायचे म्हणून लहानपणीच इंदू ने शिक्षण सोडून एका कारखान्यात नोकरी सुरु केलेली असते. इंदू खूप मेहनती, हुशार आणि समजूतदार असते. मुक्त देखील हुशार असते आता एका शहरात कॉलेज मध्ये शिकत असते व त्याचबरोबर नोकरी देखील करत असते. मुक्ता एकदम मजेत जीवन जगावे अश्या मताची असते, तिला कशाची चिंता वगेरे नसते. आयुष्य कसे वेगात आणि भरभरून जगावे असे हीच मत असते. मुक्ताचा कॉलेज मधील मित्र सलील, याच्या वर हिचे प्रेम असते. पण अजून हिने घरी याबद्दल कोणाला सांगितलेले नसते.



तसेच इंदूचे पण शिबू नावाच्या मुलावर प्रेम असते. घरी सगळ्यांना माहिती असते. आणि इंदूची आई लग्नाला तयार देखील असते.शिबू अन इंदू लग्न करायचे ठरवतात. लग्नासाठी मुक्ता गावात येते. हळद लागण्याचा कार्यक्रम असतो, सगळे आनंदात असतात. हळद लागण्याच्या कार्यक्रमात, मुक्ताला एकदम आठवते, की लग्नासाठी मेंदी आणायला विसरलो आहोत. घरातील सगळे जण तिला जाऊ नको असे म्हणतात, पण मुक्ता कसला ऐकतेय. ती इंदूची सायकल घेऊन वेगाने निघते मेंदीचे कोन आणायला. सायकलवरून रस्ता क्रॉस करत असताना, तिला एका गाडीचा धक्का लागतो आणि मुक्ता रक्ताच्या थारोळ्यात पडते. सगळे लोक धावत येतात, तिला हॉस्पिटल मध्ये घेऊन जातात. हिच्या मेंदूला जबर मार लागलेला असतो. डॉक्टर प्रयत्नांची पराकाष्ट करून हिला वाचवतात. ऑपरेशन साठी लागणारा पैसा इंदू तिचे लग्नाचे दागिने विकून उभा करते.



ऑपरेशन झाल्यावर मुक्ता बरी होईल असे सगळ्यांना वाटते, पण दैवाच्या मनात काहीतरी वेगळेच असते. मुक्ता काहीच ओळख देत नाही. तिचा मेंदू काम करेनासा होतो. ती एकदमच परावलंबी होऊन जाते. इंदूला मुक्ताच्या तब्येतीपुढे काहीच सुचत नाही. इंदू मुक्ताला बर करण्याचा ध्यास घेते. स्वताचे लग्न मोडून टाकते, शिबू काहीच बोलत नाही. उलट काही दिवसाने शिबुचे एका मुलीशी लग्न ठरते. इंदू सगळे सगळे सहन करते, इंदूची आई इंदूला म्हणते की तू मुक्ताच्या मागे तुझे आयुष्य व्यर्थ घालवू नकोस, आपण मुक्ताला पंढरपूरला पाठवून देऊ वेड्यांच्या इस्पितळात. पण इंदू अजिबात बधत नाही. उलट मुक्ताला बरे करायचे व तिची अशी अवस्था ज्याने केली त्याला शोधायचे असे फक्त २ उद्देश असतात.



मुक्ताची अशी स्थिती ज्या अपघाताने झालेली असते, त्याला कारण एक डॉक्टर असतो. डॉक्टर आनंद हा एक खूप प्रसिध्ध न्यूरोसर्जन असतो. याची बायको संध्या आणि आनंद या दोघांचे एक स्वप्न असते की खूप मोठे हॉस्पिटल बांधायचे. एकूण खूप पैसे कमावत असतात दोघेही, आनंदचे वडील अप्पांना त्यांच्या या वेगाची भीती वाटते. ते सारखे म्हणतात की तुम्ही इतके कमावत आहात पण त्याचा उपभोग घ्यायला तुम्हाला मागे वळून बघायला वेळच नाही. पण या दोघांना त्यांचे म्हणणे पटत नाही. ते आपले हॉस्पिटल बांधण्याचे स्वप्न पूर्ण करण्याच्या प्रयत्नात असतात. त्यासाठी त्यांना जमिनीच्या मोठ्या तुकड्याची गरज असते. संध्या खूप प्रयत्न करून एका मंत्राकडून जमिनीचा तुकडा मिळवायचा प्रयत्न करते, आणि त्याच संबधात आनंदची मिटिंग असते. मिटिंग खूप चांगली होते आणि त्याच्याच आनंदात, आनंद, एकीकडे मोबाईल वर बोलत, दुसरीकडे लपटोप वर काम करत गाडी चालवत असतो. मुक्ता रस्ता क्रॉस करत असताना या गोंधळात याची तिला ठोस लागते.



अपघात झाल्यावर मात्र डॉक्टर आनंद पूर्णपणे हतबल होतो. त्याचे हात ऑपरेशन करताना थरथरू लागतात. ज्या वेगाने तो पुढे जात असतो, तो वेग एकदमच कमी होतो. अपराधीपणाची भावना त्याला खात राहते. प्रायश्चित्त करायचे म्हणून तो मुक्ताचा हॉस्पिटलचा खर्च देतो. पण तरीही मन स्वस्थ होत नाही.

शेवटी, इंदू, आनंद यांच्या वाट कुठे भिडते, इंदूला तिच्या बहिणीचे जीवन उध्वस्त करणारा सापडतो का ? डॉक्टर आनंद इंदूला सांगू शकतो का की मुक्ताचा अपराधी तोच आहे.. हे सगळे बघा "सावर रे" मध्ये .



सिनेमा चांगला आहे. जरा वेगळ्या विषयावर आहे. रवींद्र मंकणीने डॉक्टर आनंदची होणारी तगमग खूपच छान दाखवली आहे. देविका दफ्तरदारची, इंदूची भूमिका छान आहे. फक्त तिचा वेश आणि भाषा यांचा काही ताळमेळ जुळत नाही असा वाटत. सिनेमातील गाणी अर्थपूर्ण आहेत. शिबू वर ओव्हर पॉवर करणारी इंदू, शेवटी, शिबूने तिला काहीतरी म्हणायला हवे होते असे म्हणते तेव्हा तिच्यातील स्त्री सुलभ भावना, शिबुला कळल्याच नाहीत असे वाटते.

सिनेमा जरा भावनापूर्ण आहे. सगळ्या कुटुंबाबरोबर बघता येईल असा निश्चित आहे. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया जरूर कळवा.



Indrayani aka Indu and Mukta are two sisters. They are staying with their mother in a small village. They have lost their farther a while ago, and their mother has brought them up. Indu quit her education and took a job in a factory, so that Mukta can continue her education. Indu is very hardworking, bright and responsible girl. Mukta is studying in the college and working part time. She is doing well in her studies and other activities too. She is carefree but responsible by nature and likes to live life with vigor. MUkta is in love with one of her classmates Salil. She has not mentioned this to her sister and mother yet.



Indu is engaged with Shibu and they were planning to get married. Finally they find a good "Muhurt" and the wedding ceremony is planned. All the guests have arrived and Mukta is also back form college for the function. They were busy with the Haladi tradition, before the wedding. Allare very happy and having fun. Mukta remembers that they have forgotten Mehendi, so she takes out bicycle and rushes to buy it. Everyone was just telling her not to go and someone will go and buy, but Mukta is very athletic and fast, and wanted to go herself. Unfortunately she is hit b acar when she just merges on the main road and fells down. The car just vanishes without stopping. Fortuntelt because it is small village,people nitice this and take Mukta to Hospital. Doctors just manage to save Mukta's life,but she still has her brain injury to deal with. Indu sells all her wedding ornaments for the operation.



All were hoping that Mukta will be back to normal soon, but that is not the destiny. Mukta has lost her memory and interest in life, she is not recognising anyone. She has become totally dependent on others and Indu is very much disturbed. She devotes all her free time outside job to Mukta, and she wants Mukta to get back to normal. She breaks up relationship with Shibu and Shibu too silently accepts it.In a few days Shibu decides to marry some other girl. Indu just silently accepts everything and keeps working on Mukta's improvement. Her mother tries c to convince her that there is no hope with Mukta now, and they should send her to some clinic, but Indu does not agree. She continues to devote her time for Mukta, and also starts looking for the person responsible for this incidence.


A famous doctor is responsible for this accident. He is renowned neurosurgeon named Anand. Anand has a big dream of building a big hospital along with his wife Sandhya for the needy people. His father Appa is always telling him to slow down and let things take its own time. He always tell them to enjoy life and everything they do rather then just rush. Sandhya has worked her way very hard in getting a sizable land granted form the government. Anand is just returning from his meeting with the Minister where he is granted that land.So he is very happy and driving in a hurry, while talking on phone with Sandhya and also doing something on Laptop. That was the time Mukta is crossing the road and he has hit her.



He just runs away from the location, but his conscious not letting him settle.He is totally disturbed and is not able to concentrate on anything. He is literally lost sleep and was not able perform surgery. His life was asif someone was applying break to it. He decides to pay Mukta's hospital expenses, but still he does not get satisfaction.

As destiny has it, Indu and Anand have to cross roads somewhere. How do they meet, does Indu know that Anand is responcible for all the turmoil in her life, is Anand able to accept the responcibility. Watch Marathi movie "Sawar Re"

The movie is really good and family movie. Ravindra Mankani has depicted very well Doctor's emotional turmoil after the accident. Devika Daftardar is good as Indu. The songs in the movie are good too with powerful lyrics. One of the very good scenes was with Indu, who is always dominating Shibu, has some emotional needs, she wants Shibu to open up and say something, which Shibu fails to understand.

In short a very good movie and do write your comments about Movie and review.

त्या रात्री पाउस होता (Tya ratri paaus hota)

विश्वास आणि गायत्री यांचे एक सुखी कुटुंब. यांना रावी आणि अविनाश (अवि) अशी दोन मुले. विश्वास आणि गायत्री यांची एका छोट्याश्या खेड्यात एक छोटीशी फॅक्टरी असते. गायत्री आणि विश्वास दोघेही या फॅक्टरी मध्ये काम करत असतात. गायत्री एकदम कर्तबगार असते. सगळ्या कामगारांबरोबर हातात अवजारे घेऊन काम करत असते. यांच्याच गावात एक श्रीपती नावाचा एक राजकारणी असतो. त्याला गायत्री आणि विश्वास यांच्या फॅक्टरी मध्ये खूप रस असतो. याचे स्वप्न म्हणजे खूप मोठा राजकारणी व्हायचे. आणि त्याची सुरवात म्हणजे तो ज्या खेड्यात राहत असतो त्याची सुधारणा करणे.
सुधारणा करण्यासाठी सगळ्यात प्रथम ह्याच्या मनात येते कि स्त्री मतदार संघात गायत्रीला उभे करायचे. त्यासाठी म्हणून गायत्रीला राजकारणात ओढण्याचा प्रयत्न सुरु होतो. विश्वासला वाटते कि गायत्रीने राजकारणात पडावे. एक वेगळा अनुभव म्हणून ग्रामपंचायतीत जायला काही हरकत नाही. विश्वासच्या आग्रहाखातर गायत्री ग्रामपंचायतीत जातेही. आता हिच्या हुद्द्याचा गैरवापर श्रीपत करायला लागतो आणि त्यालाच गायत्री नकार देते. याने चिडून श्रीपत, गायत्री आणि विश्वास यांच्या कुटुंबाला उध्वस्त करण्याचे ठरवतो.
त्यासाठी मग तो विश्वासवर चरस चा धंदा करण्याचा आरोप करतो व त्याला तुरुंगात टाकतो. गायत्री त्याला सोडवण्याची खूप धडपड करते, पण काहीच कुठे करता येत नाही. ती जेव्हा अगदी अगतिक होते, तेव्हा श्रीपत तिला सांगतो कि माझा तुझ्यावर डोळा आहे तू माझ्या बरोबर आज राहा, मी लगेच विश्वास ला सोडवतो. या प्रस्तावापुढे गायत्री काय निर्णय घेते, तिच्या या निर्णयामुळे त्यांच्या कुटुंबाचे पुढे काय होते, अविनाश आणि रावीचे भविष्य तिच्या या निर्णयामुळे कसे होरपळते हे बघा "त्या रात्री पाउस होता" मध्ये
"त्या रात्री पाउस होता", त्या रात्रीत फक्त क्लायमॅक्स शिवाय काही घडत नाही. फक्त अवि आणि रावी एकमेकांना ओळखतात, त्यांच्या गप्पा व जुन्या आठवणींना उजाळा देणे इतकेच घडते. बहुतेक संपूर्ण सिनेमा फ्लशबक मधेच आहे. तानाजीचे एक महत्वाचे पात्र या सिनेमामध्ये आहे. तानाजी या सगळ्या गोष्टीचा साक्षीदार म्हणून आपल्याला सदैव दिसतो. क्लायमॅक्स मध्ये तानाजी कुणाची साथ देतो, हे बघण्यासारखे आहे.
सिनेमातील गाणी चांगली आहेत. गायत्री सारखी कर्तबगार आणि सडेतोड असलेली स्त्री अगतिक झाल्यावर जो निर्णय घेते तो समजू शकतो, पण त्यानंतर ती विश्वासला सगळे खरे का सांगत नाही हा प्रश्न नक्कीच पडतो. त्यानंतर श्रीपतवर बदला घेण्याच्या ऐवजी तिचा जो शेवट दाखवला आहे तो पटला नाही. बदला भलेही यशस्वी न झालेला दाखवता आला असता पण तिची अगतिकता मनाला पटत नाही. सगळेच कसलेले कलाकार असल्याने नाव ठेवायला कुठेच जागा नाही. सिनेमा बघावाच असा काही नाही.
Vishwas Kamat and his wife Gayatri are residents of a small town. They have two kids Avinash (Avi) and Ravi. A very happy family. They have a small factory and both work hard along with workers to earn their living. Shripati is a local politician, who has an ambition to become a MLA. He is interested in the factory and is helping them to improve.

Shripati approaches with a proposal of filing Gayatri's nomination for a Ladies Reserved Seat in the village panchayat. Initially Gayatri refuses, saying she is happy with taking care of family and small business they have. But subsequently Vishwas convinces her to give it a try. He feels it will be good experience. Gayatri agrees and becomes a member of the panchayat. Later Shripati tries to misuse her name and post for his own interests which she opposes.
Shripari decides to plot against Gayatri and her family to get control. He puts Narcotic Drugs in the lorry transporting Vishawas's factory goods and gets him arrested under the false case. Gayatri tries hard for his release for several days. Vishwas is beaten badly in the custody and finally Gayatri decides to get him released at any cost. At this point Shripati tells her, that he is interested in her and if she spends time with him, he can get Vishwas released in no time. After two long days of brain storming, Gayatri finds no way out but to bows to Shripati's wish.

This is a pivotal point in the story which decides the whole future of the family and consequences of this follow the lives of Avinash and Ravi. In the night of rain in the title of the movie, Avinash and Ravi meet after years, recognise each other and talk out the whole story through flashbacks. Third person Tanaji is witness (mostly silent) to the whole lives of these people. When all the misunderstandings between the siblings were clear, what happens when Shripati comes in front of them.

All the actors have really plays their parts very well but a bit disappointment from Gajendra Ahire. Some things in the storyline are totally contradictory to the initial character of Gayatri. Strong Gayatri, who is working with her husband in the factory, with all the equipments and tools and managing strongly the whole business, seems very lame and weak in the later part of the movie. A movie not really a must watch category and definitely not suitable to watch with children.

विद्या - आनंद व त्यांची मुलगी स्नेहा यांचा त्रिकोणी संसार खूप सुखी असतो. अचानक आनंदला कावीळ होते आणि आनंद या दोघींना सोडून निघून जातो. विद्या नोकरी करतच असते. स्नेह वडील गेल्याचे दुख हळू हळू विसरते. स्नेहा वडील सतत आपल्या बरोबर आहेत अशी एक मनाची समजूत करून आयुष्य सुरु करते. विद्याच्या बॉसचे नाव कारखानीस असते. विद्याला ५०००० रुपये द्यायचे असतात तेव्हा कारखानीस तिला मदत करतात. त्या दोघांची मैत्री वाढते.

पण तरीही विद्या त्याचा खून करते. तिचे वकील पत्र घ्यायला म्हणून स्वाती दांडेकर खूप उत्सुक असते. स्वाती दांडेकर हिचा नवरा आणि मोठे दीर दोघेही खूप नामवंत वकील असतात. ती या दोघांच्या हाताखाली वकिली शिकते, पण जेव्हा ती विद्या राउत ची केस हातात घेते, हे ह्या दोघांना पण मान्य नसते, पण तरीही हट्टाला पेटून ती हि केस लढवायची तयारी करते. पण जेव्हा ती विद्याशी बोलायला जाते, तेव्हा विद्या तिच्याशी बोलायलाच तयार होत नाही. विद्याचे म्हणणे असते कि तिने खून केला आहे आणि तिला तो मान्य आहे. तिला केस लढवायची नाही. शेवटी वकील गरुड स्वातीच्या मदतीस येतो. मग स्वाती विद्याने कारखानिसचा खून का केला याचा शोध घेते. शेवटी स्वातीला काय सापडते, ती घरातील वकिलांशी कशी लढते, आणि विद्याला खरच न्याय मिळतो का बघा "नॉट ओन्ली मिसेस राऊत" मध्ये.

सिनेमा अत्यंत सुंदर आहे. जरूर बघावा असा. मधुरा वेलणकर आणि वंदना गुप्ते यांच्या मधील २-३ मिनिटाचे संवाद खूप विचारणीय आहेत. सिनेमात खूपच नामवंत कलाकार आहेत आणि सगळ्यांनी खूपच मस्त अभिनय केला आहे. सिनेमा आपल्यासमोर असा हळुवार उलगडत जातो. सिनेमाची सुरवातच खुनाने होते आणि पण हिने खरच का खून केलाय असा विचार करत असतानाच कथा मस्त उलगडत जाते. सिनेमाचा शेवट देखील आशादायी केला आहे. जरूर बघाच आणि तुमच्या प्रतिक्रिया पण लिहा.

Anand, Vidya and Sneha is a happy Raut family based in Mumbai. Anand is in a small business, and Vidya working as secretary in a firm. Anand dies due to Hepatetis. Sneha is school going, and manages to collect herself saying her dad is always around her. For Sneha's education Vidya decides to stay in Mumbai rather than going back to Goa with her mother.

Vidya has to pay back fifty thousand, Anand had borrowed from a money lender. Vidya takes this money on loan from her boss Mr. Karkhanis. They get friendly and Mr Karkhanis likes to spend time with her.

In turn of some incidences Vidya kills Mr. Karkhanis and reports to the police station the murder she has committed. She refuses to accept a lawyer, but Swati Dandekar a upcoming lawyer insists to take up the case. Her husband and Brother in law are very renowned lawyers in the city. They did now want Swati to take this case, but she insists and take it up. Vidya Raut is not willing to cooperate at all in the begining. Another lawyer Garud helps Swati. Garud was Vidya's lawyer in earlier case. Finally they get Vidya talking and they have to fight one of the toughest case. Swati also has hurdles from her family members in the case. What kind of struggle Swati has to undergo and if she is able to help Vidya to get justice need to be seen in the movie.

The movie opens with the murder scene, and then slowly takes us through the background in flashback. Several renowned actors have given justice to their roles and overall a really good product. A must watch if you like this kind of movies with court scenes. One more feather in Gajendra Ahire's cap I would say.

शेवरी (Shevari)

विद्या आणि माया दोघीजणी एका खोलीत राहत असतात. माया एकदम आधुनिक तर विद्या एकदम घरगुती मध्यमवर्गीय मध्यमवयीन स्त्री. विद्याला नवऱ्याने सोडून दिलेले असते. त्यामुळे ती होस्टेल मध्ये राहत असते. माया आणि विद्याचे असे ठरलेले असते कि दर शनिवारी रात्री विद्याने दुसरीकडे राहायचे कारण मायाचे मित्र येत असतात.

एक दिवस विद्या ऑफिसमधून घरी येते आणि अचानक, तिला माया सांगते कि आज काहीहि कर पण प्लीज घरात राहू नकोस. रागारागात विद्या बाहेर पडते तिला वाटते कि आत्याकडे जावे, पण तिची आत्या नवऱ्याने सोडून दिले याबद्दल इतके बोलते कि विद्याला तिथे राहणे नकोसे होते ती तिथून परत फिरते. आणि मग रस्त्यावरून फिरताना तिला तिच्या जीवनात घडलेल्या सगळ्या घटना डोळ्यापुढे येतात. नवरा सुधीर, मला तुझा कंटाळा आला आहे असे सांगून सोडून देतो. मुलाला आईकडे नाशिकला ठेवले असते. त्यामुळे दर शनिवारी विद्या नाशिकला जाते. वहिनी आणि भावाला तिचे दर शनिवारी येणे आवडत नाही. पण ते तिला तसे स्पष्टपणे सांगू शकत नाहीत. वयात येणारा मुलगा आईचे अति जास्त प्रेम सहन करू शकत नाही. तसे विद्याला एका प्रसंगातून जाणवते आणि ती अगदीच कोलमडून पडते.

ऑफिसमध्ये तिचा बॉस तिच्यावर जबरदस्ती करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. एक आधार म्हणजे शिंदे. तो तिचा ऑफिसमधील सहकारी असतो. लग्न झालेला, पण तरीही त्याला विद्या आवडत असते. तो देखील त्याच्या जीवनाला कंटाळलेला असतो, आणि तो विद्या मध्ये एका मैत्रिणीचे रूप बघत असतो. या दोघांची मैत्री आणि विद्याचे शिंदे बद्दलचे मत, एकदम मस्त, बघण्यासारखे आहे.

सिनेमा चांगला आहे. नवऱ्याने टाकून दिल्याने अगतिक झालेली विद्या, परिस्थितीने गांजलेली विद्या, आधुनिक व्हावे कि आपल्या जुन्याच संस्कारामध्ये गुंतून पडावे या मध्ये गोंधळलेली विद्या अश्या अनेक भावछटा दाखवणारी विद्या खूपच सुंदर. नीना कुलकर्णीचे काम खूपच सुंदर. दिलीप प्रभावळकर शिंदेच्या भूमिकेत खूपच मस्त. रवींद्र मंकणी सुधीरच्या भूमिकेत मस्त. उत्तर बावकरने विद्याच्या आईचे काम छान केले आहे. सिनेमा एकदा बघावा इतका चांगला नक्कीच आहे. संपूर्ण सिनेमा फ्लँशबँक मध्ये आहे. पण फ्लँशबँकचा खूपच सुंदर उपयोग केला आहे.
Vidya and Maya are roommates in mumbai. Arrangement between them is that Vidya will not stay in room on Saturdays, as Maya's boyfriends visit her. One day unexpectedly Maya tells her to stay outside for a night. Vidya is unhappy with the situation, leaves the house and walks on the streets.

While walking she sees different things, meets few people and remembers her life story as a flashback. Vidya's husband Sudheer has left her without giving any reason. They have a teenage boy, Ashish, who is upset because of his parents separation. Vidya leaves her husband house, leaves Ashish with her mother in Nasik.

Her boss in office, tries to seduce her. She has a colleague Shinde, who helps her in many situations. She is unclear about his motive, goes to his house one day. And is surprised by the conservation and the situation she was in.

A very good movie. A fustrated, irritated and helpless Vidya, is acted very well by Nina Kulkarni. Character "Shinde" is played by Dilip Praphavalkar. All the character and their acting are very good. This movie has won the award for the innovative and intelligent cinema technique of flashback.

बयो (Bayo)

"बयो" एका हरवलेल्या प्रेमाचे स्मरण...

ही आहे स्वातंत्रपूर्व काळातील एक दुखद प्रेमकथा. रावी आणि प्रसाद भारत सोडून इंग्लंडमध्ये दुतावासात नोकरीच्या निमित्यांने येतात. प्रसाद नोकरीमध्ये व नवनवीन गोष्टीमध्ये खूपच व्यस्त होतो आणि रावी खूपच एकटी पडते. तिच्या असे लक्षात येते कि याच घरात कोणा विश्वनाथला बयो नावाची स्त्री पत्र पाठवते आहे. पत्रामध्ये बयोच्या गावातील, तिच्या जीवनातील प्रत्येक गोष्ट अगदी विस्तारून लिहिली आहे. सगळी पत्र अगदी मनाला भिडणारी असतात. रावी विश्वनाथाबद्दल दुतावासात चौकशी करते पण काहीच पत्ता लागत नाही. तिला समजत नाही कि "बयो" ला कसे कळवावे कि तुझी पत्रे विश्वनाथला पोचत नाहीयेत. ती सगळी पत्र क्रमवार लावून वाचून काढते. त्यात "बयो" च्या जीवनाचा सगळा पट उभा राहतो. त्याच दरम्यान तिच्या नवऱ्याची भारतात बदली होते. ते परत जातात तेव्हा रावी "बयो" ला जाऊन भेटते. तिला काही न लागलेले संदर्भ समजतात.

बयो हि एक मुस्लीम मुलगी असते. तिचे वडील स्वातंत्र सैनिक असतात. जेव्हा ब्रिटीश सैनिक त्यांच्यामागे लागतात, तेव्हा ते आपल्या मुलीला एका ब्राह्मण शिक्षकाकडे (अप्पा) सुपूर्द करतात. अप्पांनी लग्न केलेले नसते. ते एका अनाथ मुलाला वाढवत असतात. त्याप्रमाणे ते बयोला पण स्वताच्या मुलीप्रमाणे वाढवतात. हा अनाथ मुलगा म्हणजे विश्वनाथ. आता या दोघांचे प्रेम कसे होते, त्यांची ताटातूट का होते आणि पुढे विश्वनाथ व बयो दोघे भेटतात का हे जाणून घेण्यासाठी बघा "बयो" !!!

सिनेमा अत्यंत सुंदर आहे. जरूर बघावा. सगळ्या कलाकारांनी खूपच छान काम केले आहे. सिनेमातील गाणी ठीक आहेत. शास्त्रीय संगीताचे छोटे छोटे तुकडे अतिशय श्रवणीय आहेत.

This is a sad love story in the early 1940s. Start of the story shows us a character "Bayo", who is writing letters to "Vishwanath". Apparently "Vishwanath" is not staying in the house where letter are going. Raavi and her husband Prasad, are staying in the house. Raavi is a sensitive writer. And is not doing anything as they are in England. Finally Raavi opens all the letters and reads them chronologically. After reading the letters Raavi understands, that "Bayo" is waiting endlessly for Vishwanath. And there must be a heartbroken story behind it. She becomes hysterical and sensitive about the character "Bayo" and decides to meet her when Ravi's husband was transferred back to India. When Raavi meets Bayo, the real life story of "Bayo" comes in front of us.

Bayo is a muslim girl, whose father is freedom fighter. His father requests a Brahmin Teacher to take care of his daughter. This teacher is not married and he has given shelter to "Vishwanath" And that is how the love story starts.

It is a very good movie. A must watch.

सैल (Sail)

वादळी वारा, मुसळधार पाऊस सुरु असताना विद्याधर आडोसा शोधात असतो आणि अचानक त्याची विद्याशी गाठ पडते. विद्याला बघून विद्याधर चाट पडतो. या बाईशी आपली अशी घाठ पडेल असे त्याला स्वप्नात पण वाटले नसते. राजकारणात पडून नावाजलेली आणि अनुभवी झालेली विद्या जीव मुठीत धरून लपते आहे हे समजल्यावर त्याला खूपच आश्चर्य वाटते. पैश्याच्या मागे लागलेला विद्याधर प्रोफेसर झाला आहे हे समजल्यावर विद्या पण चमकते. पैश्याचा लोभ आणि राजकारणाचा मोह यामुळे कुटुंबाची कशी दैना झाली, हे प्रेक्षकांसमोर येते. एका गोजिरवाण्या कुटुंबाची ताटातूट होते. जरी दोघे दूर असले तरी दोघांचे एकमेकांवरचे प्रेम कमी झालेले नाही याचा साक्षात्कार दोघांना झाल्यावर दोघे नव्याने आयुष्य सुरु करायचे ठरवतात. वादळ ओसरल्यावर एकत्र घरी जाण्याचे ठरवतात, तितक्यात राजकारणातील काही उलाथापालाथीत पुन्हा विद्याचा जयजयकार सुरु होतो. आता या निर्णायक क्षणी विद्या काय करते हे बघा "सैल" मध्ये.

या सिनेमात फक्त दोनच पात्र आहेत. संपूर्ण सिनेमा रात्रीतून उलगडतो. भूतकाळ फक्त बोलण्यातून कळतो. त्यासाठी फ़्लँशबँक चा उपयोग केलेला नाहीये. मोहन जोशी आणि रीमा लागू यांच्या अभिनय सुंदर. फार वेगळा सिनेमा आहे असे मी म्हणणार नाही. मोहन जोशी आणि रीमा लागू तुम्हाला आवडत असल्यास हा सिनेमा जरून बघा. बघितल्यावर पश्चाचाताप होणार नाही याची खात्री आहे.

Vidyadhar meets vidya accidentally while looking for shelter, when his car breaks down in a thunderstorm in outskirts of the city. He approaches a nearby farm house and convinces the security guard to let him in till storm subsides. This a very interesting drama unfolded within just these two characters Vidyadhar and Vidya. They are separated husband and wife meeting after several years. Both had great ambitions, Vidyadhar wants to make lot of money while Vidya is interested in politics. Vidya was hiding in the farm house due to some political problem.

Their life stories in reveled in the course of their conversations in the whole night. The difference from other movies is, not a single flashback is used and still the movie remains interesting binding the viewers to their chairs. The movie ends with the breaking of dawn with a unexpected twist. Very good acting by both Reema and Mohan Joshi. If you like drama, do not miss this movie.
