अंकगणित आनंदाचं (Ankaganit Anandacha)

आनंद प्रकाश कुलकर्णी हा मुंबईमध्ये एका बँकेत नोकरी करीत असतो. बायको रागिणी व मुलगा समीर असे त्रिकोणी कुटुंब खूप सुखात असते. समीरवर आनंदाचे निरतिशय प्रेम असते. त्याला मुंबईचे धकाधकीच्या जीवनात त्याला वाटते की त्याला खरा आनंद मिळत नाहीये. गावाकडील जीवन जास्त सुखी असेल असे त्याला वाटते व त्यामुळे तो रागिणीला म्हणतो की आपण गावीच राहून शेती करावी. आनंदला वाटते की वडिलांच्या हाताखाली शेती शिकावी व गावातच राहावे. अचानक आनंदच्या वडिलांची तब्येत बिघडते आणि ते त्याला गावी बोलावून घेतात. परंतु वडिलांचा मृत्यू अचानक ओढवतो, त्यामुळे शेती नीटशी शिकता येत नाही. वडिलांनी आनंदच्या शिक्षणासाठी शेतीवर बरेच कर्ज घेतले असते.

आता ती शेती सोडून जाण्याचे आनंदला नकोसे वाटते. पण शेती न शिकल्याने, याला शेतीत फारसा नफा देखील होत नाही. आता घर चालवण्यासाठी म्हणून बायको रागिणी एका शाळेत नोकरी करते. मुंबई मध्ये एका मोठ्या कंपनीत टीम लीडर असलेली इथे एका शाळेत १०००० रुपयासाठी नोकरी करते. त्यात देखील तिला ८००० रुपयेच मिळतात. शिवाय बरेचदा शाळेत जायला १-२ मिनिट उशीर झाल्यामुळे, लेट मार्क पण लागतो. व पैसे कापल्या जातात. रागिणी नोकरी करत असल्याने, समीरला जोशी काकूंच्या पाळणाघरात ठेवण्यात येते. रागिणीच्या आईला त्यांचे असे मुंबई सोडून जाणे अजिबात पसंत नसते. तरीपण रागिणी समीर आणि आनंदवर असलेल्या प्रेमापोटी गावी येते.

पण अप्पा गेल्यानंतर व शेती जमत नसताना उगाचच गावी राहून कर्ज बाजरी होतो त्याचे रागिणी दुख व राग असतो. त्यात शेती करताना त्याचे उसाचे उत्पादन एक अहलुवालिया नावाचा मनुष्य खूप पैसे देईन असे म्हणून लुबाडतो, त्यानंतर तर आनंद कडे अजिबातच पैसे उरत नाहीत. त्यामुळे या दोघांमध्ये सारखे वाद सुरु असतात. रागिणीची खूप चीडचीड होत असते. पण आनंदला वाटते की पैसा नसला म्हणून काय झाले आपण आनंदात आहोत. रागिणीला वाटते की आता या शेती करण्यात काही अर्थ नाही. एकतर आनंदची तशी काही फारशी मदत तिला होत नाही, शिवाय घर शाळा सांभाळले व शिवाय पुन्हा पैश्याची मारामार, त्यामुळे रागिणीला आता शहरात जावे असे वाटू लागते. रागिणीच्या शाळेत असणारा नेमाडे नावाचा क्लार्क रागिणीला त्रास देत असतो. एकदा तो लेट मार्क लागल्याबद्दल तिचा विनयभंग करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो, ती रागाच्या भरात त्याला दोन थोबाडीत देऊन ठेवते.

घरी आल्यावर आनंदला सांगते पण आनंद, रागिणीची बाजू घेण्याऐवजी, तिला समजावून सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. हे बघितल्यावर रागिणी भयंकर चिडते व सांगते की आता तिने ती नोकरी सोडली आहे व ती मुंबईला परत तिच्या आईकडे जाते आहे. आनंद तिला समजावण्याचा पर्यंत करतो पण तो व्यर्थ असतो. रागिणी समीरला घेऊन निघते, तेव्हा आनंद, समीरला जाऊ देत नाही. रागिणी गेल्यानंतर तो त्याच्या घरी शेतीत मदत करणाऱ्या सुदामा नावाच्या नोकराला देखील काढून टाकतो कारण आता त्याला हे चैन परवडणारी नसते जेव्हा रागिणी सोडून जाते, तेव्हा आनंदचे डोळे अचानक उघडतात, तो नोकरी करण्याचे ठरवतो. आनंदच्या डोक्यावर कर्ज झालेले असते. त्यामुळे त्याची गाडी बँक जप्त करते. शिवाय लोन फेडण्याबद्दल त्याला एक-दोनदा जेल मध्ये देखील जावे लागते.

त्याच्या नशिबाने त्याला नोकरी मिळते, पण त्यात गोम अशी यासाठी कि १०० दिवस काम करायचे, पण पगार मिळणार नाही. १०० दिवसाने जर चांगले काम केले तर महिन्याला १५००० रुपये मिळतील. आनंदकडे काहीच पैसे नसतात, त्यामुळे तो विचारात पडतो की हे गणित जमवायचे कसे, त्यात हिशोब केल्यावर त्याला असे वाटते कि ३ महिन्याला लागतील इतके पैसे शिलकीत आहेत, ते वापरून नोकरी घ्यावी. पण रागिणी कडे मुंबईला न जाता गावीच राहून आनंद मिळवावा व जीवनाचे अंकगणित सोडवावे. आनंदला त्याच्या जीवनातील आनंद व अंकगणित याची सांगड घालता येते का हे बघा "आनंदाचे अंकगणित" या सिनेमा मध्ये. आनंदाचे अंकगणित असे नाव का दिले असावे असा विचार मनात येतो. कारण हे आनंद या व्यक्तीच्या जीवनातील गणित आहे की आनंद मिळवायला लागणारे जे गणित असते ते गणित या सिनेमात दाखवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे हे नीटसे समाजात नाही. माझ्या मते सिनेमा अत्यंत बेसलेस आहे. नक्की या सिनेमात काय दाखवायचे आहे हे समजत नाही. म्हणजे मुंबईला नोकरी करताना कंटाळा येतो म्हणून आनंद शेती करायला गावी येतो, पण पुन्हा नोकरी करणारे लोक कसे सुखी आहेत हे बघून नोकरी करायला लागतो. बायको सांगत असते की शेती वगेरे आपल्याला जमणाऱ्या गोष्टी नाहीत तरी तिच्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करून शेती करतो व बायको सोडून निघून गेली म्हणून व स्वत: हलाखीच्या परिस्थितीत असताना, मुलाला बायको कडे न पाठवता उगीचच काहीतरी उद्योग करत बसतो. एकूण नक्की काय करायचं या सिनेमातील हिरोला हे समजत नाही. एका भरकटलेल्या जहाजाचा प्रवास दाखवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे का ? अशी शंका येते. एकूण या कथानकातील अंकगणित मला तरी फारसे समजलेले नाही. चांगल्या कलाकारांचा अगदीच चुथडा केला आहे असे वाटले. सिनेमा बघू नये. वेळ वाया जाईल.

Anand Prakash Kulkarni was a bank employee in Mumbai. His wife is Ragini and son Samir. Small and happy family. Anand loves Sameer a lot. He feels the busy Mumbai life is putting a lot of stress on him and on the whole family in general. He thinks life at his town will be less stressful and happy. He initiates discussion with Ragini, about shifting to the villages and farming. He decides to learn farming from his father and stay in his town. While he is thinking about it, his father is unwell and he had to rush. Unfortunately his father passes away and Anand did not get time to learn farming from him. At this point Anand decides to farm rather than going back to his job. But since he does not know farming well, he is not very good at that and not able to make much money. To help him financially, Ragini takes a job in a high school. She was team leader in a corporate company earlier. Here her salary is merely 10K and the fraudulent school administration takes another 2K cut and at end of month she gets only 8K in hands. Since Ragini is working, their son Sameer is in  day care facility after school which is run by Mrs Joshi. 

Ragini's mother is not happy with this change in her life. But Ragini wants to support Anand so she decides to do all this for him. But Anand's failure to generate substantial income from agriculture due to no proper training is bothering her. During these days a person named Ahulwalia cheats him for big amount of money, in sugarcane deal. Anand is under raising burden of loans. This is more and more disturbing for Ragini and they frequently fight. Anand still keeps insisting that even without money they are leading happy life. Ragini makes it clear to Anand that he should stop spending time and money on agriculture and rather do something else. Financially Anand is not getting anything out of it and Ragini is under severe stress in school, and also has to do lot of work in home to keep things moving. She start thinking they should rather go back to city and find better jobs there.

A clerk called Nemade is a troublesome guy in Ragini's school. He is always trying to catch Ragini, and one day when she was bit late for signing the attendance he crosses the limit. Ragini gives him a tight slap and decides to quit her school job at that moment itself. While discussing with Anand, he tries to convince her that she should have taken it cool and the job is important for her. Ragini looses temper that moment, decides to quit all this and stay with her mother in Mumbai. When she actually try to leave with Sameer, Anand stops Sameer and Ragini leaves alone.

After this Anand really starts thinking about his life. He has to remove his domestic assistant Sudama. And finally he decides to take up a job. Due to non payment of loan bank confiscates the vehicle and Anand is in real trouble now.

He manages to get a job, but with a very strange condition, that he will not receive salary for first 100 days and he may not get to work all days. He does lot of calculations and decides he can barely manage for those 100+ days with whatever money he has in his account and will try be happy with Sameer in his town only. So he decides to give it a try. If he is able to do that successfully or Ragini needs to intervene needs to be seen in "Ankaganit Anandache"

Looks like in the title of the movie "Anand" is used in two senses, name of lead character Anand and happiness. The movies storyline is very average and the script is not impressive. The take home message for the movie is very vague and may be interpreted in different ways. He initially quit job to to work on farm, but after a while takes a job and tries to be happy and prove his point. When Ragini tells Anand that farming is not suitable profession for him, he did not listen, but in the end lands up with a job but again in his small town instead of staying with Ragini in Mumbai. When he was in real financial trouble, he keeps his son with him and make him suffer too, when he could have taken good care of him by sending his son to his wife. The director has failed to utilize some really good talent like Sandeep Kulkarni, Aishavarya Naarkar and Sulabha Deshpande.

रिंगा रिंगा (Ringa Ringa)

 सिद्धार्थ देसाई हा रंगराव उर्फ श्रीरंग नाईक यांच्या आतल्या गोटातील एक मनुष्य असतो. सुरवातीला तो त्यांचा बॉडी गार्ड म्हणून काम करत असतो, पण एकदा रंगरावचा जीव वाचवल्यामुळे तो रंगरावच्या आतील गोटातील एक मेम्बर होतो. श्रीरंग नाईक हा एका कोळ्याचा मुलगा असतो, खूप गरीब घरात जन्माला येतो. मोठा झाल्यावर समुद्रमार्गाने स्मगलिंग करायला सुरवात करतो. आणि आता राजकारणात येऊन मुख्यमंत्री पदाकडे वाटचाल सुरु असते. रंगरावच्या पक्षाचे अध्यक्ष अण्णासाहेब मराठे असतात. यांना रंगरावाबद्दल बऱ्याच गोष्टी माहिती असतात. पण त्याचे काळे धंदे माहिती नसतात.

सिद्धार्थ, बरोबरच रंगरावच्या आतल्या गोटात, एक असतो जानी ज्याचे काम म्हणजे रंगरावच्या वाटेत येणाऱ्या सगळ्या काट्यांचा खून करणे, प्रत्येक खूप करताना हा बालवाडीत शिकलेल्या इंग्लिश कविता म्हणत असतो. याला बॅन्जो भयंकर प्रिय असतो. आणि तो बॅन्जो चांगला वाजवू पण शकतो. दुसरी व्यक्ती म्हणजे विश्वास दाभोळकर, हा एकदम चॉकलेटी हिरो असतो. जिथे धमक्या व जोर जबरदस्तीने चालत नाही तिथे हा चॉकलेटी हिरो गोड बोलून गोष्टी काढून घेण्यात पटाईत असतो.


सिद्धार्थ देसाईचे लग्न झालेले असते, मानसीशी. मानसीच्या वडिलांना एक मानसिक रोग झालेला असतो, त्यामुळे ते हॉस्पिटलमध्येच असतात. मानसीच्या आईचे अपघातात निधन होते, त्यानंतर तिच्या वडिलांना तिची आई दिसत असते, आणि ते तिच्याशी प्रत्यक्ष बोलल्यासारखे बोलत असतात. अपघातानंतर सुरवातीचे २ वर्ष वडिलांच्या तब्येतीत काहीच सुधारणा होत नाही. पण ६ महिन्यापूर्वी पासून मानसी देखील आई दिसल्याचे नाटक करून त्यांच्याशी गप्पा करते आणि वडिलांच्या तब्येतीत सुधारणा होऊ लागते. मानसीला माहिती नसते कि हे नाटक अजून किती दिवस करावे लागणार.

सिद्धार्थचे लग्नापूर्वी एका सोनाली नावाच्या मुलीबरोबर लफडे असते आणि सिद्धार्थ, माणासीला चिडवण्यासाठी, सोनालीचा फोन आलाय असा नाटक करत असतो आणि या नाटकात बरेचदा विश्वास सामील असतो.

जरी रंगरावचे स्मगलिंगचे धंदे सिद्धार्थला माहिती असतात, तरीही रंगराव त्याचा हिरोच असतो. पण एकदा त्याला कळते कि स्मगलिंग मध्ये रंगराव ने RDX आणले आहे तेव्हा मात्र सिद्धार्थला रंगराव देशद्रोही आहे असे वाटू लागते आणि अश्या देशद्रोह्याला मात्र गोव्याचे मुख्यमंत्रीपद मिळायला नको असे सिद्धार्थला मनापासून वाटते. RDX स्मगलिंगच्या केसेस इंस्पेक्टर कामत कडे जातात, कामत अंथोनीला पकडतो, ज्याच्याकडे सगळे पुरावे असतात. कामत हा खरतर इमानदार असतो. तो यांच्या धमक्यांना घाबरत नाही, पण विश्वास मध्यस्थी करून कामतला रंगरावबरोबर बोलायला तयार करतो. कामत सगळे पुरावे ५ करोड रुपयांच्या बदल्यात देण्याचे काबुल करतो. हेच सांगण्यासाठी सिद्धार्थ, अण्णासाहेब मराठे यांच्याकडे येतो. अण्णासाहेब म्हणतात, कि तू त्या सगळ्या फाईल्स माझ्याकडे आणि फक्त माझ्याकडेच आणून दे. अश्या माणसाला मुख्यमंत्री पद द्यायला नको.

जेव्हा कामत आणि रंगरावचा सौदा होणार असतो, तेव्हा सिद्धार्थ देखील तिथेच असतो. आणि संधी साधून तो सगळ्या फाईल्स घेऊन पळतो. मानसीला फोन करून सांगतो कि भेटायला ये जशी असेल तशी. रस्त्यात मानसीला जानी भेटतो, त्याला कसेबसे सोडवून ती सिद्धार्थला भेटायला जाते, रंगराव, जानी आणि विश्वास तिथेही मानसीवर पाळत ठेवून असतात. सिद्धार्थला मानसी भेटते, ते काही क्षण एकत्र असतात, पण तितक्यात जानी आणि रंगराव देखील तिथे पोचतात. झटापटीत सिद्धार्थ जानीवर गोळी झाडतो, आणि जानी सिद्धार्थवर. यामध्ये मृत्यू होतो, पण नक्की कोणाचा हे आता सांगितले तर मज्जा येणार नाही त्यामुळे ते गुपित ठेवून गोष्ट पुढे सरकते.

हे बघून मानसीला जबरदस्त धक्का बसतो आणि तिला तिच्या वडिलांसारखेच व्हायला लागते. तिला सिद्धार्थ सगळीकडे दिसतो, तसेच जानी पण सगळीकडे दिसतो. सिद्धार्थ- सोनिया च्या बरोबर सगळीकडे घरभर फिरतो असे दिसायला लागते. जॉनी सगळीकडे बेंजो वाजतात, नर्सरी राहीम्स म्हणतो आहे असा भास व्हायला लागतो. इकडे रंगरावची मुख्यमंत्री पदाकडे घोडदौड सुरु होते. मानसीच्या आजारावर काही उपाय सापडतात का? रंगरावचे मुख्यमंत्रीपदाचे स्वप्नं पूर्ण होते का? नक्की कोणाचा खून झालेला असतो, सिद्धार्थ / जॉनीचा ? ज्या कारणासाठी खून झाला असतो ती फाईल शेवटी रंगरावला सापडते का? या सगळ्या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे बघायला "रिंगा रिंगा" बघायला हवा.

सिनेमा अफलातून आहे. रहस्यमय आहे हे सांगायलाच नको. सुरवातीला सिनेमा खूपच वेग घेतो सिद्धार्थ पडद्यावरून नाहीसा झाल्यावर मात्र जरा मंदावतो आणि आपण पण चक्रावून जातो. नक्की काय होतंय हे अगदी पटकन समजत नाही. नक्की कोणाचा मृत्यू झालाय हे ओळखण्यात बरीच बुद्धी नष्ट होते, आणि त्यात सिनेमा जरा संथावलेला असल्याने, मेंदू नक्कीच विचार करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. हा सिनेमा चेकमेट च्या दिग्दर्शकाने केलेला आहे, त्यामुळे रहस्य सुरवातीला कळू न देता प्रेक्षकांना खिळवण्याचे काम निश्चित साधले आहे. अजिंक्य देव चा रंगराव, संतोष जुवेकारचा जॉनी, अंकुश चौधरीचा विश्वास, भारत जाधवचा सिद्धार्थ आणि सोनाली कुलकर्णीची मानसी सगळे सगळे उत्तम आहे. थोड्यावेळासाठी येणारी सोनाली म्हणजे अदिती गोवारीकर खरं तर एकही संवाद म्हणत नाही. पण तिचा आभास संपूर्ण सिनेमाभर असतो. सिनेमा सगळ्यांनी बघावा असा आहे, कुठेही अश्लील किंवा बिभित्स प्रसंग नाही.

तुम्ही हा सिनेमा बघितला असल्यास, किंवा माझ्या लिखाणावर तुमचे काही मत असल्यास जरूर द्या.

Sidharth Desai is working for Rangarao aka Shrirang Naik. He is actually his right hand man, after he saved his life in an attack on him when he was still his bodyguard. Rangarao was a son of a fisherman, get into smuggling though sea in Goa. Slowly he becomes rich and becomes a politician. Now he is eying the post of Chief minister. Annasaheb Marathe is the party chief. He is aware about Rangarao but not the levels he can get down to become a Chief Minister.

Two other men really close to Rangarao are Johney and Vishwas Dabholkar. Johney is a sharp shooter, using a long range rifle and killing people who are problematic for Rangarao. He has a passion for music, mainly Bango. He likes to play it most of the time and he plays it well too. When is is killing people using his rifle, he keeps humming and singing nursery rhymes. On the other hand Vishawas is chocolate hero. He is very talkative, and has a knack to get things done just by talking sweet.

Manasi is Sidharth's wife. Her father is getting treated for a psychological condition in a nursing home. After Manasi's mother's death in a accident, her father sees her always around and keep talking with her. They try a lot for his recovery, but there were no hopes, so finally Manasi starts to pretend as if her mother is there ans she can see her too. This helps in improving her father's health and she continues to do this for a while.

Sidharth had an affair with Sonali, long before he met Manasi. Once in a while Sidharth pretends in front of Manasi that Sonali has called up and Vishwas is helping him in these pranks.

Though Sidharth knows about Rangarao's smuggling business, he is alright with that, and he helps him in most of his business. But at one point he learns that Rangarao is smuggling in RDX. This really disturbs Sidharth, he can not take this any more now. He is worried of a traitor like this becomes Chief Minister of Goa, that will be a big problem. There is a inspector Kamat who is handling this RDX case, who has a guy called Anthony in his possession. Anthony is the guy who knows everything about the smuggling case. Inspector Kamat is a clean d honest person, and is fearless too. So he does not care about the threats posed by Rangarao. Finally Vishwas comes into play and makes sure that Kamat strikes a deal with Rangarao. Kamat agrees to sell all the evidences to Rangarao fot 5 crore. Sidhharth meets Annasaheb Marathe to tell this situation and request him to make sure Rangarao does not become the Chief Minister. Annasaheb tells him to hand oer the evidences to him and him only, so that he can make sure that Rangarao does not become Chief Minister.

At the time of the real deal execution between Inspector Kamat and Rangarao, Sidharth steals the file and runs away. On the way he calls Manasi to start as she is and come to a particular place to see him. Unfortunately Johny meets Manasi on the way and offers to take her where ever she needs to go. Somehow she manages to escape from Johny but Rangarao, Johney and Vishwas are trying to track Manasi and Sidharth. At one point in this running around, Manasi and Sidharth meet briefly, but Johny and Rangarao reach there in moments. In the scuffle, both Sidharth and Johny pull out guns and fire at each other. It is not disclosed at this point who dies.

But the whole incidence leaves Manasi a mental shock. She starts seeing Sidharth and Sonali together everywhere. She also sees Johny singing his nursery rhymes. She always sees Sidharth and Sonali moving around the home, and she is disturbed. Rangarao is improving his position for grabbing the Chief Minister-ship. Who is able to treat Manasi ? Does Rangarao become CM, Where does the file go ? Can Annasahb Marathe get the file and what intentions he has for using the file. You must watch the thriller Ringa Ringa.

This is a nice movie. The mystery is really good. The story moves fairly fast in the beginning but slows down after the incidence that took lace which changes the course of the movie. The story gets a bit too complicated at times. And even we loose track of what is real and what is imagination of Manasi. This Movie is done by the same director of movie Checkmate He has handled this one also with lot of strength. Rangarao by Ajinkya Dev, Johny by Santosh Juwekar, Vishwas by Ankush Chaudhari, Sidharth by Bharat Jadhav and Manasi by Sonali kulkarni are all really good. Sonali played by Aditi Gowarikar does not have a single line but her illusions are all over the movie. This movie is for all age groups and is fairly child safe.

मी सिंधुताई सपकाळ (Mee Sindhutai Sapkal)

"चिंधी" ही अभिराम साठे या अतिसामान्य शेतकऱ्याची मुलगी. हिला शाळेत जाण्याचा व नवीन गोष्टी शिकण्याचा खूप उत्साह. पण आईचे मत असे कि मुलीला शाळेत घालून, शिकवून काय उपयोग. लग्नाचे वय झाले कि लग्न करावे झाले. शिवाय घरकाम यायला पाहिजे त्यामुळे आई सतत घरात काही न काही काम सांगायची. शिवाय म्हशी चरायला नेणे हि पण "चिंधी" चीच जबाबदारी. बिचारी, म्हशींना चरायला सोडून अर्ध्या सुट्टीनंतर का होईना पण शाळेत दाखल होत असे. मन लावून अभ्यास करीत असे. उशिरा येऊन देखील मुलगी ४ थी पास होते. ४ थी पास झाल्यावर हिच्या आईला खूप घाई होते, कि आता हिचे लग्न करायचे. वडील मनाने आणि विचाराने पुरोगामी असतात, पण बायकोपुढे त्यांचे काही चालत नाही. त्यामुळे ह्या १० वर्षाच्या मुलीचे एका टोणग्याबरोबर लग्न लावून देण्यात येते. सासरी २ दीर, सासू, सासरे व दिरांची मुले अशी बरीच मंडळी असतात. आता शिकणे वगेरे तर दूरच राहते, पण घरात सासूच्या हाताखाली राब राब राबावे लागते. त्यात सासू सारखी नवऱ्याचे काही न काही कान भरतच असते.



या सगळ्या त्रासात देखील चिंधी तिच्या वाचनाचे वेड सोडत नाही. घरात कुठलाही पेपरचा कागद घरी आला कि त्यावर लिहिलेले सगळे वाचून काढायचे असा उपक्रम सुरु करते. बरेच वेळा ती वाचत असताना, सासू बोलते, तेव्हा कागद लपवून ठेवून नंतर वाचायचा असे करून तिचे वाचनाचे वेड पूर्ण करते.

लग्न झाल्यानंतर माहेर तर सुटल्यासारखेच असते. वडील मधून-मधून चिंधीला भेटायला येतात. काही वर्ष्यांनी हिला ३ मुले होतात. यांच्या गावात जंगलात जाऊन शेण गोळा करायचे आणि ते गावातील कंत्राटदाराला द्यायचे. तो कंत्राटदार ते शेण जाऊन विकतो, पण गावातील लोकांना त्याच्या बद्दल काहीच मोबदला मिळत नाही. चिंधीच्या हे कधीच लक्षात येते, पण गावात कोणाचीच हिम्मत नसते याबद्दल बोलण्याची. त्याच दरम्यान चिंधीला चवथ्यांदा दिवस गेलेले असतात. चिंधी या कंत्राटदारा बद्दल मोठ्या वन अधिकाऱ्याकडे तक्रार करते. यामुळे चिंधी बद्दल सगळ्या गावात खूप आदर वाढतो. घरी पण अचानक सासू, आणि जावा तिची एकदम काळजी करायला सुरवात करतात.



पण हे प्रेम काही खूप काळ टिकून राहत नाही. गावातील कंत्राटदार चिंधीच्या नवऱ्याचे कान भरतो कि तुझ्या बायकोच्या पोटातील मुल तुझे नसून माझे आहे. हिचा नवरा इतक्या हलक्या कानाचा असतो कि त्याला ते सगळे खरेच वाटते. आणि नवव्या महिन्यातील गर्भारशीला घराच्या बाहेर काढण्यात येते. कधीहि बाळतीन होणार अश्या स्थितीत असलेली, चिंधी कोठे जाणार? हि बिचारी घरातील गोठ्याचा सहारा घेते. आणि तिथेच तिचे बाळंतपण होते. कोणीच नाही जवळ, स्वताच बाळाची नाळ तोडते. ओळी बाळंतीण घर, गोठा सोडून माहेरी जायला निघते. हातात पैसे नाही, खायला अन्न नाही, हातात तान्हे बाळ, जाऊन जाऊन कुठे जाणार. चिंधी कसे बसे माहेरी पोचते. वडील काही वर्षापूर्वीच गेले असतात, फक्त आईच असते. आई तिला बघून म्हणते कि तू इथून निघून जा, तोंड काळे केल्यावर इथे का आलीस. इतक्या छोटा मुलीला घेऊन कुठे जाऊ असे विचारल्यावर आईचे उत्तर असते कि कुठेही जा, कुठेच नाही जमले तर विहिरीत उडी मार. अशी प्रतिक्रिया आल्यावर चिंधी अगदी हिरमुसली होते. आणि आत्म्यहत्या करायला म्हणून रेल्वेच्या रुळावर जाते. तिथे गेल्यावर तिचे नक्की होते, चिंधीची सिंधू कशी होते हे बघा "मी सिंधुताई सपकाळ" मध्ये.



खरंतर इथे या सिनेमाचे कथानक लिहिणे कठीण आहे कारण एकतर सिंधुताईने जे काही भोगले ते शब्दात लिहिणे कठीण आहे आणि बहूतेक सगळ्यांनीच सिंधुताईच्या तोंडून त्याची गोष्ट ऐकली आहे. पण तरीही कथानक लिहिण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. सिनेमा खूपच छान आहे. सिंधुताई जेव्हा सांगतात त्याच्या जीवनातील प्रसंग, तेव्हाच डोळ्यातून पाणी येते. पण जेव्हा सगळे चित्र पडद्यावर बघितल्यावर तर रडायला येतेच येते. मुख्य म्हणजे मला चिंधीच्या आईची मानसिक व्यवस्था अजूनहि नीटशी समजलेली नाहीये. जेव्हा एकदम १-२ दिवसाचे बाळ घेऊन मुलगी घरी येते, तेव्हा कुठली आई आपल्या मुलीला घरातून हाकलून देऊ शकेल.



सिंधुताई जसे तिच्या नवऱ्याला त्यांच्या आयुष्याला वळण दिल्याचे श्रेय देते, तसेच त्यांच्या आईने हाकलून दिल्यामुळे पण, चिंधीच्या मनात जगण्याची इच्छा निर्माण झाली असावी. सिनेमा फ्लॅशबॅक मध्ये आहे. पण वर्तमान आणि भूतकाळ याचा संगम खूप छान केला आहे. तरुण वयाची चिंधी आणि वयस्कर सिंधुताई, दोघीही खूप छान. सिनेमा सगळ्यांनी बघावा असाच आहे. वाचकांना सिंधुताईच्या तोंडून त्यांच्या कामाची, आणि त्यांच्या आयुष्याची माहिती मिळावी म्हणून इथे त्यांच्या भाषणाची क्लीप इथे देते आहे.

मला आवडलेले या सिनेमातील / सिंधुताईचे लक्षात ठेवण्यासारखे वाक्य. "देवा आम्हाला हसायला शिकव परंतु आम्ही कधी रडलो होतो याचा विसर पडू देऊ नकोस."

This is a story of Chindhi, daughter of Abhiram Sathe, a poor farmer from Wardha district of Maharashtra. She is fond of studies and attending the school. But hardly gets a chance to attend it since she has to take care of her buffaloes. Her mother feels that girls should be married off as soon as possible and there is no need of education for them. And for that they need to be good in household chores, so she makes sure Chindhi always has her plate full for chores and does not get a chance to even look towards school. But due to her dedication towards studies, she manages to sneak into the school somehow for few hours. Doing all this she manages to pass fourth grade.



At this stage her mother decides to marry her off. Though her father is not in favor of this he is not able to convince his wife and her mother manages to find a guy much elder to her and marries her. This was at mere age of ten. Her new home has her mother in law, two brother in laws and their families. So there is no way she can continue her studies, but is put to lot of work. Ans still at the end of the day her mother in law will not talk good of her.

Managing all this, Chindhi still continues to read whatever she could lay her hands on. Mostly she could get only the packing newspapers that come with grocery and she will read it all. Her mother in law will cause her trouble even for this ans then she will hide the papers some place and read at leisure when she is able to get a bit of freedom sometime.



The years pass like this, she grows up in age and has three sons. In those days after marriage she hardly gets to meet her parents, only rarely sometime her father will manage to come and see her briefly. She was staying in the buffer area of a wildlife sanctuary, so they can not keep too many cattle. Even the cow dung collected from the forest will have to be deposited with the local contractor and he used to sell it off without paying to the local villagers. Chindhi is angree with this. No one else in the village has guts to talk against the contractor, and finally Chindhi speaks out to the forest officer and the contractor has to take care of the matter. This brings Chindhi respect form all the villagers and even in her own home. Her Mother in law and co systers start taking care of her since she is pregnant for the fourth time.



But this good times are short lived for Chindhi. The contractor manages to cheat Chindhi's husband and convinces him that the baby Chindhi is carrying is not her husbands but of the contractor. Her husband is really a big fool and he is immediately convinced with this. By this time Chindhi is almost 8 monthd pregnant but her husband mercilessly kicks her out of the house. Now she does not have nayone to help but manages to survive and gives birth of her child herself in the cow shade. The only place she could think of was her own home. She knew that her father is no more, but hopes her mother will help her in this tough time. She does not have any cash, no food to eat but manages to reach her mothers home. She is totally disappointed by her mothers attitude. She just tells her to go away after all the bad name she has earned and all the deeds she has done. And on asking where Chindi can go in such a situation, her mother says go anywhere you want and if you can think of nothing else go jump in a well. Chindhi is totally devastated by this attitude and goes on a Railway track and is waiting for a train to come. What happens next to her and her baby ? How Chindhi becomes Sindhu ? You must watch in "Mi Sindhutai Sapkal" .


It is very difficult to explain what Sindhutai has gone though in her life. It is really difficult to express it words, one much watch it and hear it from her. Of cource Sindhutai's story is well known now and most of you must have heard it from her. The movie is really well made, and when she tells her own story, it is touching. Her mother attitude is really crazy, to make her own daughter with less than a week old baby, to drive away when she has come for help.


Sindhutai credits her husband for putting her into this situation and helping her indirectly to become what she is today. may be she should credit her mother too, she was the one who helped her take the challenge of life by driving her away without entertaining her in the house at all. All the three actress who have played Chindhi are really good, and so are most of the actors i the movie. This is also a must watch for all age groups. शापित (Shapit)

अमन कॉलेज मध्ये जाणारा एक तरुण मुलगा असतो. एकदा मित्राकडे पार्टीला गेला असताना तिथे त्याला काया नावाची मुलगी भेटते. पहिल्या नजरभेटीतच दोघे एकमेकांच्या प्रेमात पडतात. आई वडिलांना न सांगताच अमन कायासाठी एक अंगठी आणतो आणि तिच्या हातात घालतो. घरी गेल्यावर आई वडिलांना आपल्या निर्णयाबद्दल सांगायचे असे ठरवून ते निघतात, रस्त्यात त्याला एक भूत दिसते आणि त्या भुताच्या अंगावरून गाडी जाते व ती उलटते. त्यात काया बेशुद्ध पडते. अमनला कुठे खरचटत देखील नाही. कायाच्या घरी तिच्या अपघाताची बातमी कळते व ते तातडीने दवाखान्यात येतात. तिथे तिच्या हातात अंगठी बघून वडील चपापतात. आता आपली मुलगी मोठी झाली आहे आणि  त्यांनी दडवून ठेवलेले गुपित तिला सांगायलाच पाहिजे याची जाणीव होते.

तर हे गुपित म्हणजे, कायाच्या घराण्याला मिळालेला शाप. कायाचे वडील हे एका राजघराण्याचे वंशज असतात. ३५० वर्षापूर्वी त्यांचे पूर्वज एक राजघराणे असते. तर या राजाचा भाऊ हा एक स्त्रीलंपट म्हणून प्रसिद्ध असतो. तर हा भाऊ एकदा एका मुलीला नदीवर बघतो आणि मग त्याचे त्या मुलीवर नजर पडते. आता या मुलीवर अत्याचार करायचा असे म्हणून तो तिला राजवाड्यात घेऊन येतो. ती मुलगी खूप गयावया करते पण काहीच उपयोग होत नाही. त्यामुळे शेवटचा उपाय म्हणून हि गच्चीवरून उडी मारते आणि तिचा अंत होतो. हे ऐकून राजा खूप घाबरतो कारण त्याला महिती असते कि हि मुलगी त्यांचे आचार्य सच्चिदानंदची आहे. सच्चिदानंद खूप रागावतात आणि रागाच्या भरात राजाला शाप देतात कि तुझ्या पुढील पिढीतील कुठलीही मुलीचे लग्न होणार नाही. कारण माझ्या मुलीचे २ दिवसाने लग्न होते आणि तिला ते सुख मिळाले नाही त्यामुळे तुमच्या पुढील पिढीतील कुठल्याही मुलीला हे सुख मिळणार नाही. हा शाप ऐकून राजा खूप दुखी होतो पण या शापातून मुक्तता मिळणे कठीण असते.

तर असा हा शाप कायाचे कुटुंब भोगत असते. आजवर यांच्या कुटुंबातील कुठल्याही स्त्रीचे लग्न झालेले नसते. कायाला हि बातमी कळल्यावर तिला काहीच सुचेनासे होते. अमनचे आईवडील कायाच्या आईवडिलांशी बोलायला येतात पण ते सांगतात कि आम्हाला तिच्या सुखापेक्षा तिचे आयुष्य जास्त महत्वाचे आहे त्यामुळे आम्ही तुमची मागणी स्वीकारू शकत नाही. अमनचे काया वर निरातिशय प्रेम असल्याने तो मात्र हे सहन करू शकत नाही. त्यामुळे तो ठरवतो नक्की काय शाप आहे तो शोधून काढायचा, हे भूत कुठले आहे, त्याच्या नायनाट कसा करता येईल हे शोधायचे.

यासाठी त्याचा मित्र त्याला मदत करतो. तो त्याला प्रोफेसर पशुपतीकडे घेऊन जातो आणि सांगतो कि हा प्रोफेसर परानोर्मालचा म्हणजे भूत-खेताचा अभ्यास करतो. प्रोफेसर म्हणतो कि तुझ्या मागे लागलेले भूत काही साधे सुधे नाहीये. त्यामुळे तू आपला घरी जा त्या मुलीचा नाद सोडून दे. पण अमन काही ऐकत नाही. तो एक खूप मोठा पराक्रम करून पुन्हा प्रोफेसरला भेटायला येतो आणि शेवटी प्रोफेसर या दोघांबरोबर भुताचा शोध घ्यायला तयार होतो. शेवटी भूत त्यांना भेटते का? सच्चिदानंदाचा शाप कुणाच्या रुपात या कुटुंबाला त्रास देत असतो हे बघा "शापित" मध्ये.

सिनेमा बऱ्यापैकी कंटाळवाणा आहे. काही अनिमेशन चांगली आहेत. पण सिनेमात काही खूप दम आहे असे वाटत नाही. एकूण गोष्ट काहीतरी करून भूतापाशी आणून ठेवली आहे असे वाटते. शिवाय जेव्हा पुरातन काळातील गोष्ट सांगत असतात तेव्हा एक गाणे आहे. त्या गाण्याचे संगीत अगदी आजच्या काळातील आहे. अगदी त्या गाण्यातील कलाकारांचे वेश देखील आजच्या काळातील आहे. म्हणजे ३५० वर्षपूर्वी असलेले वेश आणि आता असलेले वेश याचा अजिबात ताळमेळ घातलेला नाहीये. हा सिनेमा बघावा असे मी अजिबात म्हणणार नाही. सिनेमा बघताना भीती देखील फार वाटत नाही. कलाकारांचे अभिनय पण यथातथाच आहेत.

Aaman is a college student for a well to do family. Once in a party he meets Kaaya and they are both in love at first sight. Aaman buys a ring for Kaaya and she accepts it with pleasure. They decide to tell it to their parents on returning home. On the way back while driving the car they see a ghost right in the middle of the road. As the car touches the ghost, it turns turtle and Kaaya is unconscious in the accident. Her parents rush to hospital and see Kaaya. Her father is shocked to see a ring in her hand. He realizes that his daughter has grown up and it is finally time to tell her the secret.

There is a curse that is on Kaaya's family. Her family is actually a royal family. For more than 300 years back this curse is causing problems in the family. This started with king who was very courageous and strong. He was also very gentle and responsible king. But his brother was a womanizer and infamous for his deeds. One day he sees a girl on the river and falls for her. He manages to bring her in the palace with bad intentions. The girl pleads to leave her alone, tries to scare him, fight with him and finally commits suicide by jumping out of the palace window in the courtyard. The king finds this out and when he realizes that this girl is daughter of Sacchidananda, he gets really scared. Sacchdainand is a very renowned yogi and learned man, with powers. On learning about the death of his daughter, he comes to the palace fuming with anger. The king tries very hard to convince him, but in anger he curses the the kings family that for generations together in his family no girl can survive if married. The reason being his daughter who died, was supposed to get married in a couple of days. The king is devastated with this, but there is no other go for him.

So this was the kind of curse Kaaya's family is suffering and no girl in her generations together could marry and live after that. Aaman's parents visit Kaaya's parents to convince them for this wedding, but they flatly refuse telling them that they are more concerned about her living than her married life, and politely refuse the proposal. But Aaman is in deep love with Kaaya and is not able to think anything without her. He decides to investigate more about this curse and if there is some way out of this. Basically he wants to save Kaaya family from all this things.

Aaman's real close friend agrees to help him in his mission which has become like life mission for Aaman. He is ready to die for it, rather than living without Kaaya. They quickly find out that there is a Prof. Pashupati, who has done lot of research in paranormal life and ghosts etc. On meeting Dr. Pashupati, he totally discourages Aaman and send him home saying this is very dangerous task and he should totally forget about it both the ghost and Kaaya. Aaman is not convinced at all and decides to prove himself to Professor so that he will help him in his mission. He performs a daredevil act with known ghosts and is able to convince Pashupati that he is serious and capable. That is where the mission starts and we need to watch the movie to understand where all this search leads them in the movie Shaapit.

The movie is fairly boring, with an exception of few of the animations. The story is not really very intriguing, and seems like it is stretched towards a ghost. There are some bloopers like a song sequence in the historical time, has a very contemporary dance, costumes and music. In short the movie is not really worth watching unless you are hardcore fan of ghost stories. All the artists are new and not as good.

माय नेम इज खान (My name is Khan)

रिजवान, त्याचा भाऊ झाकीर आणि आई असे तिघे मुंबईत राहत असतात. यांचे वडील एका वर्कशोप मध्ये नोकरी करत असतात. पण काही अपघातात ते देवाघरी जातात. त्यामुळे रिजवानची आईच त्या दोघांना सांभाळत असते. रिजवानला काही प्रोब्लेम असतो म्हणजे तो नॉर्मल मुलगा नसतो. पण तो मनाने खूप चांगला असतो. त्यामुळे आईचा रिजवानवर खूप जीव असतो. झकीरला कधी कधी याचा खूप त्रास होतो. तो थोडा मोठा झाल्यावर तो अमेरिकेत शिकायला जातो आणि तिथेच राहण्याचा निर्णय घेतो. झकीर त्याच्या आईला अमेरिकेत येण्याचा आग्रह करतो पण आई सांगते कि रिजवानला सोडून ती कुठे जाणार नाही. तिने तिथे यावे असे वाटत असेल तर त्याने रिजवानला पण तिथे बोलावले पाहिजे. झकीर हे सगळे करायला तयार होतो,, पण थोड्याच दिवसात त्यांच्या आईचे निधन होते. पण आईला वचन दिल्यानुसार झकीर, रिजवानला अमेरिकेत बोलावतो. झकीर अमेरिकेत जातो, तिथे झकीरचे लग्न झाले असते आणि त्याची बायको हसीना मानोपसार तज्ञ असते. ती रिजवानला अस्परजर सिंड्रोम झाला आहे असे निदान करते.

झकीरची खूप मोठी कंपनी असते. तो एका हर्बल कंपनीचे ब्युटी प्राडक्ट विकतो. त्यानुसार झकीर रिजवानला पण सेल्समनची नोकरी देतो. रिजवान त्या गोष्टी विकायला ब्युटी पार्लर मध्ये जातो. तिथेच रिजवानला मंदिरा भेटते. रिजवानला मंदिरा खूप आवडते. पण मंदिरा सुरवातीला त्याला भिक घालत नाही. मंदिराचे पूर्वायुष्यात तिचे लहान वयातच लग्न झालेले असते व तिला एक मुलगा देखील असतो. त्याचे नाव समीर. आता तिचे समीर हेच आयुष्य असते. ती एक हेअर ड्रेसर असते व एका ब्युटी पार्लर मध्ये नोकरी करत असते. रिजवानचे प्रेमळ मन तिला कळते, समीरशी रिजवानची झालेली मैत्री तिला दिसते. त्यानंतर ती रिजवान बरोबर लग्न करायला तयार होते. मंदिराची एक मैत्रीण सारा तिला स्वताचे ब्युटी पार्लर काढायला मदत करते.  त्याचप्रमाणे स्वताचे ब्युटी पार्लर काढते.  सारा, तिचा नवरा मार्क आणि मुलगा रीस असे तिघे या तिघांचे खूप छान मित्र होतात.

पण आयुष्याला एक वेगळीच कलाटणी मिळते. लग्नानंतर थोड्याच दिवसात ९/११ चा अटक होतो आणि सगळ्या मुसलमानांवर थोडे त्रासाचे दिवस येतात. ९/११ पूर्वी, सारा व कुटुंबियांशी असलेल्या चांगल्या मैत्रीत , मार्कला अफगाणिस्तानात पाठवल्याने थोडी फट पडते. मार्क अफगाणिस्तानात युद्धात मरण पावतो. रीसला याचे कारण सगळे मुसलमान आहेत असे वाटू लागते. त्यामुळे रीस समीरशी मैत्री तोडतो. व या दोघांच्या भांडणात शाळेतील काही द्वाड व गुंड मुले समीरला मारतात आणि त्याचा त्या भांडणात जीव जातो. समीरच्या मृत्यूने मंदिरा खूप दुखी होते आणि ती रागारागात रिजवानला म्हणते कि तुला इतकं दुख जर का झाले असेल तर तू सगळ्या जगाला ओरडून सांग कि सगळे मुसलमान आतंकवादी नाहीत. त्यासाठी तू अमेरिकेच्या अध्यक्षांकडे जा आणि सांग माय नेम इज खान अन्ड आय ॲम नॉट टेररीस्ट. रिजवानला तिचे म्हणणे खरेच वाटते आणि तो हे सांगायला त्याचा प्रवास सुरु करतो. तर हा रिजवान खान शेवटी अमेरिकेच्या प्रेसिडेंटला भेटतो का त्याचे म्हणणे सांगू शकतो का हे बघा "माय नेम इज खान" मध्ये

सिनेमाच्या उद्देश चांगला आहे. सगळे मुसलमान आतंकवादी नाहीत हे बिंबवण्याचा प्रयत्न चांगला केला आहे. त्यातून एका अस्परजर सिंड्रोम झालेल्या माणसाकडून हे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे त्यामुळे दोन्ही गोष्टीसाध्य करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे. त्या म्हणजे काही डीसेबलिटीज असलेले लोक देखील चांगली वागणूक मिळाल्यास समाजात मिसळू शकतात व ते काही कठीण गोष्टी हे लोक खूप सोप्या व प्रभावीपणे लोकांपर्यंत पोचवू शकतात.

शाहरुख खानचा अभिनय खूप वाखाणण्याजोगा आहे असे मात्र मला वाटले नाही. शेवटी शेवटी खूपच मसाला भरला आहे ज्याची गरज नव्हती. त्याने केलेला प्रवास व त्यामध्ये त्याला भेटलेले लोक यांच्या गोष्टी घालण्याच्या प्रयत्नांत काही काही ठिकाणी डोके बाजूला ठेवून सिनेमा बघावा लागतो. काजोल आणि शाहरुख खूप दिवसाने एकत्र आल्याने सिनेमा बघायला छान वाटले. काजोलला इतक्या दिवसाने रुपेरी पडद्यावर बघून छान वाटले. सिनेमा संपूर्ण कुटुंबाबरोबर बघावा असा आहे. एकदा बघण्यालायक सिनेमा निश्चित आहे.

Rizwan is not a normal child, but has a psychological disorder. He is really noble in nature and due to his disorder and handicap, his mother tends to care bit too much for Rizwan. Zakir being younger child, does not appreciate this behavior and is at times upset with his mother. After he graduates from college, he gets a scholarship for higher education in US and later on gets a good job and settles in US itself. He insists that his mother should join him there and stay with him, but she denies saying she does not want to leave Rizwan alone and he needs her care. Gradually Zakir come to terms with life and decides to invite Rizwan to US with his mother, but as destiny has it, before the plan works out, mother dies. In spite of this Zakir keeps his words and takes Rizwan with him. Zakir is married to Haseena who is a psychologist and is teaching in an university. She very quickly diagnoses Rizwan with Asperger Syndrome.

Zakir has a good business of selling cosmetics and beauty care products. Zakir inducts Rizwan in his business and Rizwan starts visiting beauty parlors to sell their products. In one of such marketing visit to a beauty parlor, Rizwan meets Mandira who is a beautician. At first sight itself, Rizwan falls for her, but she ignores him. She has gone through tough times. She got married at an early age, relocated to US from India. Few months after her son Sameer aka Sam's birth, her husband divorced her. She managed to get job in a beauty parlor and now has established herself and a famous practitioner. Over the time, Rizwan becomes good friend of Sam and finally Mandira changes her mind and marries him. During this time, Mandira starts her own parlor with help of a friend of hers Sarah and moves to a new house in the neighborhood of Sarah with Rizwan and Sam. Both the families become good friends as Sarah too has a son of Sam's age called Rees.

In few months time, as things are going on well, 9/11 takes place. Muslims in US are face some sour feelings. During this time Mark, Sarah's husband is sent in Afghanistan on war. And after few days they get the news of Mark's death. Rees develops a feeling that Muslim's are responsible for his father's death and he starts avoiding Sam. And one of such days after school, some rough students beat up Sam in front of Rees and Sam dies as a result of the fight. Mandira is really sad and upset due to this incidence and develops a feeling that indirectly Rizwan's identity as Muslim is responsible for Sam's death. In one angree moment she tells Rizwan that he should tell everyone that though he is Muslim, all Muslim's are not terrorist. So he decides to tell President of United States himself that though his names is Khan, he is not terrorist. Being a physiological handicapped, he takes Mandira's words very seriously ans starts his journey the same day. The movie is made with really good concepts like showing all Muslims are not to be seen with suspicious viewpoint and people with mental disabilities can be brought to mainstream society. Some of these people do not have good social skills, but have some specialty, like Rizwan in this movie has very good reading habit and power to remember things he has read.

It was good to see Shaharukh and Kajol together after long time. Shakrukh's acting is okay, not really very good. Kajol is good as usual. Some parts of the movie get masala movie, so one has to watch without using brains and logic. Other cast is good, no one really has a significant role like the two lead actors.
