घनचक्कर (Ghanchakkar)

नीतू आणि संजय हे दोघे नवरा बायको, एका चांगल्या घरात राहत असतात. आता हे सगळे कमावलेले पैसे मात्र मेहनतीच्या कमाईचे नसतात. नीतूला खूप फँशनेबल राहण्याची आवड असते. आणि तिची फँशन जरा विचित्र पद्धतीची असते. संजयला तिचे असे कपडे आवडत नसतात, पण संजयचे ती काही ऐकत नसते. आता पुढील  आयुष्यात वाईट काम करणे सोडून द्यायचे असे ह्या दोघांनी ठरवलेले असते.

पण अचानक संजयला एका पंडित नावाच्या माणसाचा फोन येतो. पंडित त्याला म्हणतो की त्याच्या कडून एक महत्वाचे काम करून घ्यायचे आहे. ते काम काय आहे ते ऐकण्यासाठी एका ट्रेनमध्ये बोलवतो. संजयला हे काम करायचे नसते, पण नीतूच्या आग्रहाखातर हा पंडितला भेटायला तयार होतो. पंडित आणि इद्रिस असे दोघे, संजयला बँक लुटण्याबद्दल सांगतात आणि बँकेची ३५ करोडची लुट तिघात समान वाटून घ्यायचे असे पण सांगतात. इतकी मोठी रक्कम बघून, संजय नितूच्या आग्रहाखातर तयार होतो. तिघे मिळून शिताफीने बँक लुटतात. .

संजय म्हणतो कि आता हे पैसे आपण तिघे वाटून घेउ. पण त्याला पंडित आणि इद्रिस तयार होत नाहीत. ते म्हणतात कि आपण लगेच पैसे वापरले तर चोरी पकडली जाइल. त्यामुळे थोडे दिवस हे पैसे लपवून ठेवू आणि ते पैसे संजयच्या घरीच निट राहू शकतील. त्यामुळे संजय सगळे पैसे लपवायला घॆउन जातो. .

थोड्या दिवसाने इद्रिस आणि पंडित, संजयला गाठतात आणि पैसे मागतात. पण संजय म्हणतो की मी तुम्हाला दोघांना ओळखत नाही, व मी काही पैसे घेतलेले नाहीत. पण पंडित आणि इद्रिसला ते खरे वाटत नाही. मग संजय त्यांना डॉक्टरकडे घेऊन जातो आणि मग डॉक्टर पण तेच सांगतात की संजयला अपघात झाला होता आणि मेंदूला मार लागला होता त्यामुळे त्याच्या स्मृतीला काही प्रोब्लेम आहे. आता पंडित आणि इद्रिस ठरवतात कि काहीही करून याच्या कडून पैसे काढून घ्यायचेच. त्यामुळे मग ते त्याला धमक्या द्यायला लागतात. त्रास देतात. आणि मग एक दिवस नीतूचे अपहरण करतात. नीतूला पळवल्यानंतर मात्र संजयला स्वत:ला ते पैसे कुठे आहेत हे शोधावेसे वाटू लागते. त्याला वाटते की नितूला माहिती आहे, पैसे कुठे आहेत. पण ती सांगत नाहिये. नंतर त्याला असे वाटते कि त्याचा एक मित्र आणि नीतू या दोघांचे काहीतरी सुरु आहे, आणि हे पैसे नितूने त्या मित्राला दिले आणि आता नीतू, संजयला सोडून जाणार. शेवटी संजय ठरवतो कि आता जीवाच्या आकांताने तो पैसे शोधायला लगतो आणि इद्रिस व पंडित हे दोघे पण संजयला निरनिराळ्या डेडलाइन्स देत असतत. .

शेवटी पैसे कोणाकडे असतात, ते पैसे सापडतात का हे बघा "घनचक्कर" मधे. सिनेमातील विद्या बालन चे कपडे मजेशीर आहेत. पण तिचे काम मात्र छान आहे. सिनेमाचा शेवट गेस करू शकत नाही, एकदम वेगळा शेवट आहे. विनोदी थ्रिलर या वर्गात हा सिनेमा आहे. सिनेमा बघावाच आहे असे माझे मत नाही, पण बघितला तर पश्चाताप नक्कीच होणार नाहि. .


Neetu and Sanjay are a couple staying in a nice home. Snajay has a criminal background and his income has been from illegal means. Neetu has a weird sense of fashion and is always in some fashionable attire. Sanjay does not like her dressing sense but Neetu does not care a damn about it. At one point Sanjay decides to quit all criminal life and lead a life on a gentleman.

Sanjay receives a phone call form a guy called Pandit. He offers him a one time criminal  job, that could make him enough rich, so that he can quit all these things. Sanjay was not interested but Neetu convinces him to get the details of the offer and decide. Sanjay meets Pandit and Idris in a train and they explain him a plan to rob a bank. The expected sum is more that enough for Sanjay to retire and live happily thereafter. Neetu convinces Sanjay, he joins the two and rob the bank with ease.

Sanjay offers to share the loot, with Pandit and Idris immediately, but both of them are worried that if they split the sum immediately, they may get caught, so decide to hide the money for some time till the robbery matters settle down a bit. They entrust Sanjay with hiding the money in his house.

After six months, Pandit and Idris contact Sanjay and ask for the share of money. Sanjay plainly refuses them saying he does not even know them and he does not have any money. They try hard, but it appears that Sanjay really does not remember anything. Finally they take him to a doctor and doctor says Sanjay has met with some accident and had forgotten better part of his life. Now both Pandit and Idris start using all possible ways to pressurize Sanjay to get the money. They threaten him, for life, but nothing works. Then they abduct Neetu and at that point Sanjay feels the need to seriously search for the money. He tries very hard, but fails to remember, then he develops a feeling that Neetu knows where the money is, and not telling him. He also suspects that Neetu is having affair with one of their friends and they have plan to dump Sanjay and escape with the money. Pandit and Idris are always on back of Sanjay for money with new deadlines every time.

Finally do they find the money, who has the money and who gets them watch in the movie Ganchakkar. Vidya Balan has a different role with weird clothing options. The climax is totally unexpected and beyond any guess. The movie may be classified as Comedy Thrillar. This is not a must watch movie, but you may not regret if you watch it.

माय नेम इज खान (My name is Khan)

रिजवान, त्याचा भाऊ झाकीर आणि आई असे तिघे मुंबईत राहत असतात. यांचे वडील एका वर्कशोप मध्ये नोकरी करत असतात. पण काही अपघातात ते देवाघरी जातात. त्यामुळे रिजवानची आईच त्या दोघांना सांभाळत असते. रिजवानला काही प्रोब्लेम असतो म्हणजे तो नॉर्मल मुलगा नसतो. पण तो मनाने खूप चांगला असतो. त्यामुळे आईचा रिजवानवर खूप जीव असतो. झकीरला कधी कधी याचा खूप त्रास होतो. तो थोडा मोठा झाल्यावर तो अमेरिकेत शिकायला जातो आणि तिथेच राहण्याचा निर्णय घेतो. झकीर त्याच्या आईला अमेरिकेत येण्याचा आग्रह करतो पण आई सांगते कि रिजवानला सोडून ती कुठे जाणार नाही. तिने तिथे यावे असे वाटत असेल तर त्याने रिजवानला पण तिथे बोलावले पाहिजे. झकीर हे सगळे करायला तयार होतो,, पण थोड्याच दिवसात त्यांच्या आईचे निधन होते. पण आईला वचन दिल्यानुसार झकीर, रिजवानला अमेरिकेत बोलावतो. झकीर अमेरिकेत जातो, तिथे झकीरचे लग्न झाले असते आणि त्याची बायको हसीना मानोपसार तज्ञ असते. ती रिजवानला अस्परजर सिंड्रोम झाला आहे असे निदान करते.

झकीरची खूप मोठी कंपनी असते. तो एका हर्बल कंपनीचे ब्युटी प्राडक्ट विकतो. त्यानुसार झकीर रिजवानला पण सेल्समनची नोकरी देतो. रिजवान त्या गोष्टी विकायला ब्युटी पार्लर मध्ये जातो. तिथेच रिजवानला मंदिरा भेटते. रिजवानला मंदिरा खूप आवडते. पण मंदिरा सुरवातीला त्याला भिक घालत नाही. मंदिराचे पूर्वायुष्यात तिचे लहान वयातच लग्न झालेले असते व तिला एक मुलगा देखील असतो. त्याचे नाव समीर. आता तिचे समीर हेच आयुष्य असते. ती एक हेअर ड्रेसर असते व एका ब्युटी पार्लर मध्ये नोकरी करत असते. रिजवानचे प्रेमळ मन तिला कळते, समीरशी रिजवानची झालेली मैत्री तिला दिसते. त्यानंतर ती रिजवान बरोबर लग्न करायला तयार होते. मंदिराची एक मैत्रीण सारा तिला स्वताचे ब्युटी पार्लर काढायला मदत करते.  त्याचप्रमाणे स्वताचे ब्युटी पार्लर काढते.  सारा, तिचा नवरा मार्क आणि मुलगा रीस असे तिघे या तिघांचे खूप छान मित्र होतात.

पण आयुष्याला एक वेगळीच कलाटणी मिळते. लग्नानंतर थोड्याच दिवसात ९/११ चा अटक होतो आणि सगळ्या मुसलमानांवर थोडे त्रासाचे दिवस येतात. ९/११ पूर्वी, सारा व कुटुंबियांशी असलेल्या चांगल्या मैत्रीत , मार्कला अफगाणिस्तानात पाठवल्याने थोडी फट पडते. मार्क अफगाणिस्तानात युद्धात मरण पावतो. रीसला याचे कारण सगळे मुसलमान आहेत असे वाटू लागते. त्यामुळे रीस समीरशी मैत्री तोडतो. व या दोघांच्या भांडणात शाळेतील काही द्वाड व गुंड मुले समीरला मारतात आणि त्याचा त्या भांडणात जीव जातो. समीरच्या मृत्यूने मंदिरा खूप दुखी होते आणि ती रागारागात रिजवानला म्हणते कि तुला इतकं दुख जर का झाले असेल तर तू सगळ्या जगाला ओरडून सांग कि सगळे मुसलमान आतंकवादी नाहीत. त्यासाठी तू अमेरिकेच्या अध्यक्षांकडे जा आणि सांग माय नेम इज खान अन्ड आय ॲम नॉट टेररीस्ट. रिजवानला तिचे म्हणणे खरेच वाटते आणि तो हे सांगायला त्याचा प्रवास सुरु करतो. तर हा रिजवान खान शेवटी अमेरिकेच्या प्रेसिडेंटला भेटतो का त्याचे म्हणणे सांगू शकतो का हे बघा "माय नेम इज खान" मध्ये

सिनेमाच्या उद्देश चांगला आहे. सगळे मुसलमान आतंकवादी नाहीत हे बिंबवण्याचा प्रयत्न चांगला केला आहे. त्यातून एका अस्परजर सिंड्रोम झालेल्या माणसाकडून हे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे त्यामुळे दोन्ही गोष्टीसाध्य करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे. त्या म्हणजे काही डीसेबलिटीज असलेले लोक देखील चांगली वागणूक मिळाल्यास समाजात मिसळू शकतात व ते काही कठीण गोष्टी हे लोक खूप सोप्या व प्रभावीपणे लोकांपर्यंत पोचवू शकतात.

शाहरुख खानचा अभिनय खूप वाखाणण्याजोगा आहे असे मात्र मला वाटले नाही. शेवटी शेवटी खूपच मसाला भरला आहे ज्याची गरज नव्हती. त्याने केलेला प्रवास व त्यामध्ये त्याला भेटलेले लोक यांच्या गोष्टी घालण्याच्या प्रयत्नांत काही काही ठिकाणी डोके बाजूला ठेवून सिनेमा बघावा लागतो. काजोल आणि शाहरुख खूप दिवसाने एकत्र आल्याने सिनेमा बघायला छान वाटले. काजोलला इतक्या दिवसाने रुपेरी पडद्यावर बघून छान वाटले. सिनेमा संपूर्ण कुटुंबाबरोबर बघावा असा आहे. एकदा बघण्यालायक सिनेमा निश्चित आहे.

Rizwan Khan, is staying in Mumbai with his brother Zakir and his mother. His father used to work in Bus workshop as mechanic. Unfortunately he dies in a accident and mother takes care of the family. Rizwan is not a normal child, but has a psychological disorder. He is really noble in nature and due to his disorder and handicap, his mother tends to care bit too much for Rizwan. Zakir being younger child, does not appreciate this behavior and is at times upset with his mother. After he graduates from college, he gets a scholarship for higher education in US and later on gets a good job and settles in US itself. He insists that his mother should join him there and stay with him, but she denies saying she does not want to leave Rizwan alone and he needs her care. Gradually Zakir come to terms with life and decides to invite Rizwan to US with his mother, but as destiny has it, before the plan works out, mother dies. In spite of this Zakir keeps his words and takes Rizwan with him. Zakir is married to Haseena who is a psychologist and is teaching in an university. She very quickly diagnoses Rizwan with Asperger Syndrome.

Zakir has a good business of selling cosmetics and beauty care products. Zakir inducts Rizwan in his business and Rizwan starts visiting beauty parlors to sell their products. In one of such marketing visit to a beauty parlor, Rizwan meets Mandira who is a beautician. At first sight itself, Rizwan falls for her, but she ignores him. She has gone through tough times. She got married at an early age, relocated to US from India. Few months after her son Sameer aka Sam's birth, her husband divorced her. She managed to get job in a beauty parlor and now has established herself and a famous practitioner. Over the time, Rizwan becomes good friend of Sam and finally Mandira changes her mind and marries him. During this time, Mandira starts her own parlor with help of a friend of hers Sarah and moves to a new house in the neighborhood of Sarah with Rizwan and Sam. Both the families become good friends as Sarah too has a son of Sam's age called Rees.

In few months time, as things are going on well, 9/11 takes place. Muslims in US are face some sour feelings. During this time Mark, Sarah's husband is sent in Afghanistan on war. And after few days they get the news of Mark's death. Rees develops a feeling that Muslim's are responsible for his father's death and he starts avoiding Sam. And one of such days after school, some rough students beat up Sam in front of Rees and Sam dies as a result of the fight. Mandira is really sad and upset due to this incidence and develops a feeling that indirectly Rizwan's identity as Muslim is responsible for Sam's death. In one angree moment she tells Rizwan that he should tell everyone that though he is Muslim, all Muslim's are not terrorist. So he decides to tell President of United States himself that though his names is Khan, he is not terrorist. Being a physiological handicapped, he takes Mandira's words very seriously ans starts his journey the same day. Watch the movie My Name is Khan to find out, what happens to Rizwan, could he really meet President ? In his travels, whom all he meets ?

The movie is made with really good concepts like showing all Muslims are not to be seen with suspicious viewpoint and people with mental disabilities can be brought to mainstream society. Some of these people do not have good social skills, but have some specialty, like Rizwan in this movie has very good reading habit and power to remember things he has read.

It was good to see Shaharukh and Kajol together after long time. Shakrukh's acting is okay, not really very good. Kajol is good as usual. Some parts of the movie get masala movie, so one has to watch without using brains and logic. Other cast is good, no one really has a significant role like the two lead actors. This is a good family movie can be watch with Kids. Do comment if you have seen the movies your views and on the reviews too.
