हापूस (Haapus)

अण्णा गुरव म्हणजे वानरवाडी मधील मोठे प्रस्थ. गावातील सगळेच मोठे निर्णय अण्णाच्या सांगण्याशिवाय होत नसत. याला कारण म्हणजे यांचा ज्योतिष शास्त्राचा गाढा अभ्यास व त्यावर नितांत विश्वास. यांचा मोठा परिवार. घरी म्हातारी आई, जिच्यावर अण्णांचा खूप जीव. बायको आणि मुलं. मुलं म्हणजे एक मुलगा अजित. लग्न झालेला, सुनेचे नाव नंदा. हा खूप हुशार, हा हापूस आंब्याची एक संकरीत जात बनवण्याच्या मागे असतो. आणि त्याला त्यात यश पण येत असते. दोन जुळ्या मुली, एक अमृता, आणि दुसरी अंकिता. अमृता एकदम धडाडीची, अगदी Tomboy शोभून दिसेल तशी, तर अंकिता अगदी लाजाळू व गरीब. चौथी मुलगीच नाव आनंदी. वय १३-१४. अंकिता गावातील एका रीक्षेवाल्याच्या "सुभाष उर्फ सुभ्या" च्या प्रेमात पडते. आता हिचे लग्न सुभ्याशी होणे तसे कठीणच असते, कारण पत्रिका आडवी येणार हे दोघांना देखील माहिती असते. अंकिताला बघायला पाहुणे येणार असतात, हे सुभ्याला कळते, त्याला समजत नाही

आता काय करावे. याच विचारात असताना, अण्णा गुरव यांचा पत्ता विचारत एक तरुण मनुष्य त्याच्या रिक्षात चढतो, त्याच्याशी गप्पा करताना त्याला समजते की हा अण्णा गुरवच्या मुलीला बघायला आला आहे. पण प्रत्यक्षात हा वानरवाडी मध्ये शिक्षक म्हणून आलेला असतो व वडिलांच्या मित्राकडे म्हणजे अण्णा गुरव यांच्याकडे राहणार असतो. अश्या तर्हेने "दिगंबर नीलकंठ काळे" याचे वानरवाडी मध्ये आगमन होते

अजितला हापूस आंबाच्या व्यापार करायचा असतो. त्याच्या मते, दलालांना मधल्या मध्ये खूप पैसे मिळतात, त्यामुळे जर का सगळ्या वानरवाडी मधील बागायतदार एकत्र आला तर आंबा विकला जाईल आणि पैसे पण जास्त मिळतील. पण या गावात असणारा दलाल राजेंद्र छाजेड हा अजितच्या मार्गात खूप अडथळे आणतो. व शिवाय अण्णा गुरव यांच्या मते, म्हणजे पत्रिकेच्या मते, गुरव यांच्या कुटुंबात बिसिनेस हा यशस्वी होणार नाही. त्यामुळे अण्णांची पण अजितला साथ मिळत नाही.

अमृता देखील, अण्णांच्या पत्रिका, पत्रिका या विषयावर चिडलेली असते, एकूण घरातील सगळेच लोक ज्योतिष व पत्रिका या विषयावर जरा वैतागलेले असतात. मराठवाड्यातील अंबेजोगाई या गावातून आलेला मास्तर, हे सगळे ओळखतो. त्यात अमृता याच्या प्रेमात पडते. पण अण्णांना कसे पटवायचे हा सगळ्यांसमोर पडलेला प्रश्न. शेवटी, अजित, बिसिनेस करू शकतो का, त्याला अण्णांची साथ मिळते का, दोन्ही प्रेमी युगुलांना आपापले प्रियकर मिळतात का , अण्णा बदलतात का हे बघा "हापूस" मध्ये.

दलाली मोडून काढली पाहिजे, त्याने शेतकऱ्यांना जास्त पैसे मिळतील, त्याचप्रमाणे ज्योतिष्य हेच अगदीच सगळे खर नसतं, तर मनुष्याची मेहनत पण खूप महत्वाची आहे हे दाखवण्याचा प्रयत्न या सिनेमात केला आहे. सगळ्यांच्याच भूमिका उत्तम आहेत. मधुर वेलणकर खूपच छान दिसते. मकरंद अनासपुरे नेहमीप्रमाणेच छान. सुभोध भावेची बायको म्हणून जी कोण नटी आहे, ती त्यापेक्षा वयाने मोठी आहे असा वाटत. पण तिची भूमिका उत्तम आहे. सिनेमा चांगला आहे. पण बघावाच असा नाही.

Anna Gurav is a famous Astrologer in the village of Vanarwadi. He is one of strongest believer of Astrology and also advises each and every person in is contact to follow. All the major decisions in the village are not taken without consulting Anna's consultation. His family members are his old mother, his wife, son Ajit, Ajit's wife Nanda, twin daughters Amruta and Ankita and youngest member is Anandi.

Ajit is a bright man and has dreams, ideas as well as courage. He is working on a hybrid variety of famous Hapus Mango, and he is already getting some good results. Amruta is a very bold and dashing girl wife Ankita the reverse, very shy and silent. Amruta is always wondering in the village and is involved in fights. She is a true tom boy. Ankita is attending college and is in love with Subhash alias Subhya, who is a Auto Cab driver.

A prospective boy was to visit Anna Gurav's family to explore wedding relationship with Ankita. Subhya is aware of the fact, so he decides to play spoilsport. While waiting with his Cab for business, a guy comes to him and inquires about Anna Gurav's house. Subhya mistakes him for the prospective boy and starts telling him all false stories about Ankita, so he will decide the other way. But unfortunately he is not the right person but he is new school teacher Kale, who is son of Anna Gurav's friend.

There is a middleman Rajendra Chhajed, who is buying all the mangos from Vanarwadi and selling them in Mumbai. He is making a lot of money, and paying the real farmers working hard in Vanrwadi just peanuts. Ajit is upset about it, and tries to bring all the farmers together and tries to convince them that if they all come together and sell mangos they will make almost four times the money they are making now. Naturally Chhajed is creating all sorts of problems in this endeavor of Ajit to save his business and financial margins. Anna is also opposing Ajit because he thinks according horoscopes, his family can not do business successfully. And there is some unknown reason behind this premise.

Amruta is also upset because of Anna's horoscope business. Kale master being an outsider, but staying in their home, realizes this problem and overdose of horoscope and astrology by Anna. So all the family members decide to come together and find a way out of this. Basically how to convince Anna is the issue they have to tackle.

You have to watch the movie Hapus to see if they are able to convince Anna, if the two pairs in love unite, if Ajit is able to venture in business, and if Anna is able to support all hie family in a meaningful way.

Madhura Velankar has done a fabulous job if acting a double role of twin sisters with opposite charactors. Makaran Anaspure is hilarious as usual. Subodh Bhave and Shivaji Satam and established names and they have certainly justified their roles well. Pushkar Kshotri is good too. If you enjoy comedies, you will certainly enjoy the movie.

ऑक्सिजन - जीव गुदमरतोय (Oxygen - Jeev gudmaratoy)

शर्वरी एका गरीब शेतकऱ्याची हुशार आणि हिम्मतवान मुलगी. हिच्या प्रेमात शेजारील गावातील एका धनाढ्य पाटलाचा मुलगा प्रेमात पडतो. समीर त्याचे नाव. समीर हा अण्णासाहेब पतंगे पाटील यांचा दत्तक घेतलेला मुलगा. हा लहान असताना, त्याला अनाथाश्रमातून घरी आणलेले असते, आणि त्यामुळे समीरच्या दृष्टीने अण्णासाहेब म्हणजे एकदम देव माणूस आहे असा विश्वास असतो. अण्णा पाटील जरा मोकळ्या विचारांचे आहे असे समीरचे मत असते. पण प्रत्यक्षात अण्णा पाटील हा अत्यंत स्त्री लंपट पुरुष असतो. गावातील, किंवा कुठेही गेला कि त्याला आवडलेल्या स्त्रीला पैठणी द्यायची म्हणजे तिला आपल्या जाळ्यात ओढायची असे प्रयत्न तो करत असतो. बऱ्याच बायकांना फसवतो.

अण्णासाहेबांचा विरोधक म्हणजे जगदाळे, याला अण्णासाहेबांचे तसे सगळे कारभार माहिती असतात. पण पुरावे नसतात व इतक्या मोठ्या माणसाविरुध्ध लढणे सोपे नसते हे त्याला पक्के ठाऊक असते. अण्णांची फुटकळ काम करण्यासाठी, वीरू नावाचा एक प्रामाणिक मनुष्य असतो. तो सगळी लबाडीची काम करत असतो, पण मनाने खूप चांगला असतो. वीरू आणि समीर या दोघांची बऱ्यापैकी मैत्री असते. आता समीर, शर्वरीच्या प्रेमात पडतो व तिला सरळ तिच्या घरी जाऊन मागणी घालतो. शर्वरीचे वडील आधी नकार देतात, पण समीर च्या सांगण्यावरून लग्नाला होकार देतात. शर्वरीची आई लहानपणीच गेली असते तिचा सांभाळ तिच्या वडिलांनी केलेला असतो. तिच्या माहेरी तिचे वडील व एक मावशी इतकाच परिवार असतो.

लग्न करून शर्वरी सासरी तर येते. सुरवातीपासूनच शर्वरीला सासऱ्या बद्दल शंका असते. पहिल्याच रात्री, समीरला खोटा फोन करून बाहेर पाठवण्यात येते आणि शर्वरी समीरची वाट बघत झोपली असताना, अण्णासाहेब शर्वरीच्या खोलीत येतात. पण समीर तितक्यात येतो, व शर्वरीवरील ओढवणार प्रसंग पुढे ढकलला जातो. शर्वरीला हे वागणे जरा विचित्र वाटते. दुसऱ्या दिवशी तिला बाथरूम मध्ये असे दिसते, कि तिचे सासरे बाथरूम च्या खिडकीतून आत बघत आहेत. हे बघितल्यावर तर हि हादरूनच जाते. असे बरेच प्रसंग येतात, आणि हिला खूप विचित्र अनुभव येऊ लागतात.

पण शर्वरी, समीरला याबाबत काहीच सांगत नाही. त्यातच शर्वरीच्या वडिलांचे निधन होते. शर्वरी घरी जाते, व तिच्या मावशीला सगळे सांगते. मावशी म्हणते कि तू सगळे समीरला सांगितले पाहिजे. समीरला सगळे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न शर्वरी करते, पण तो प्रयत्न फोल ठरतो. एका प्रसंगात तर समीरला नक्की समजत नाही कोणाची चूक आहे, पण अण्णासाहेब म्हणजे समीरचा देव, त्यांच्या वर कसा आळ घेणार. त्यामुळे शर्वरीला घराबाहेर काढल्या जाते. मग शर्वरी बाहेर राहून अण्णासाहेबांची कधी लढते, तिला कोण कोण मदत करतात, हिला अण्णा पाटलांचे पितळ उघड पाडण्यात यश मिळते का, समीर पुन्हा तिचा होतो का, बघा "ऑक्सिजन - जीव गुदमरतोय".

सिनेमा ठीक आहे. बघावाच असा काही नाही. सिनेमातील गाणी उगीचच घातली आहे असं म्हणायला हरकत नाही. सुरवातीला सिनेमा ठीक वाटतो, पण नंतर नंतर कंटाळवाणा होऊ लागतो. एकूण या सिनेमात नक्की काय सांगायचे आहे असा प्रश्न नक्कीच पडतो. स्त्रीने तिच्यावर होणाऱ्या अत्याचाराला वाचा फोडलीच पाहिजे असे सांगण्याचा दुबळा प्रयत्न या सिनेमात केला आहे असे मी म्हणीन. सिनेमातील मुख्य कलाकार बहुदा नवीन आहेत, मकरंद अनासपुरे फारच थोडा वेळ असतो, तो असतो त्यावेळेस थोडे विनोद करण्याचा प्रयत्न होतो. आपला खलनायक मात्र भारी आहे.

Sharvari is a brave and bright girl. Her parents are poor farmers in a small village. Samir Patil is son of a rich farmer and local politician Annasaheb Patange Patil. Samir is adopted son of Annasaheb and Sameer respects him next to God. Annasaheb is very open minded and progressive person is Samir's belief. But Annasahb is womeniser and always uses his money and power to woo them for fulfilling his desires. His wife has died long back, so he is free to do all he wants to do.

Veeru is a good friend of Sameer. He is good natured person, but by profession he does all the odd jobs for Annasaheb. He is doing all these works purely for money. Jagdale is another local politician in opposition of Annasaheb.

Sameer meets Sharvari and falls for her. He meets her dad and convinces him for marriage. Then he also convinces Annasahb and he too agrees. Sharvari only had dad and aunt (Mavshi) in her house. Sameer has only Annashab and a very loyal servent of Annasaheb in his home.

On the wedding night, Sameer receives a phone call from a friend of his, telling another friend has met with an accident and he needs to be there as soon as possible. Reluctantly he discusses with Sharvari and decides to go to see his friend. He realised his friends have just played prank on him. But Annasaheb enters their bedroom and tried to approach Sharvari, who is asleep tired of waiting for Sameer. Fortunately Sameer enters the room and Sharvari is saved from unwanted incidence. Sharvari quickly realises the intentions of Annasaheb. She also notices him observing her with bad intentions, in the bathroom or elsewhere.

In the meantime Sharviri's father passess away. She mentions her experiences with her father-in-law to her aunt. Her aunt suggests her to talk to Sameer after taking him into confidence. Accordingly she tries it, but could not convince him. Finally at one point of time, Sharvari is thrown out of her house, though Sameer feels it not her mistake, he is not able to oppose Annasaheb. Sameer is torn between guilt towards Sharvari and respect towards Annasaheb. Veeru helps her at this juncture opposing Annasaheb and at times Veeru.

Does Sharvari suceeds in her fight ? Is she able to convince Sameer ? Who all help her ? All the answers in the movie. Movies open with a very interesting plot. But by mid point, it is dragged a bit and finally gets boaring. The theme is good, but the director has not handled them as well. Makarand Anaspure and Sayaji shinde are good. Makarand has a short role. But in general the movie is more on lines of old school marathi movies of atrocoties and revenge type.

गोष्ट छोटी डोंगराएवढी (Goshta chhoti dongaraevadhi)

राजाराम शेतीचे शिक्षण घेऊन नोकरीच्या शोधात असतो, त्यात त्याला एका आमदाराला ३ लाख दिल्यास नोकरी मिळेल असे कळते व तो आपली जमीन विकून पैसे देण्याचा विचार करतो. पण त्याची आई त्याला तसे करू देत नाही, त्यामुळे तो गावी येऊन शेती करायची असे ठरवतो. त्याचा लंगोटीयार "नंदा" इथेच गावात असतो, एक मुलगा, घरी आई व लग्नाला आलेली बहिण असा मोठा संसार घेऊन, शेती करत असतो. कोरडवाहू जमीन असल्याने कापूसची लागवड केलीली असते, कापसाचे पैसे सरकारकडे अडकलेले असतात. विहीर खणायला देखील कर्ज काढावे लागते, आणि मग खत, बियाण्याला तर काढावेच लागते. त्यामुळे नंदा अगदीच कर्जबाजारी झालेला असतो. इकडे राजाराम स्वत शेती करायला घेतो तो पण कर्ज काढतो, पण नंदा पेक्षा त्याची परिस्थिती जरा बरी असते. कर्ज काढायला गेले, किंवा खत, बियाणे विकत घ्यायला गेले, तरी सगळीकडे भ्रष्ट्राचार बघून दोघेही खचून जातात. इकडे गावात एका NGO मधून वैदेही नावाची एक मुलगी गावातील प्रश्न आणि त्यावरील उत्तर शोधण्याचा प्रयत्न करून एक अहवाल लिहिणार असते. त्यामुळे राजाराम आणि वैदेही यांच्यामध्ये बरीच वैचारिक चर्चा होत असते. इतक्यात अतिशय कर्जबाजारी झाल्याने नंदाला काही सुचेनासे होते आणि नंदा कीटकनाशक खाऊन आत्म्यहत्या करतो. त्यानंतर गावात २-३ शेतकरी आत्म्यहत्या करतात. या सगळ्या प्रकाराने राजाराम खूप विचार करू लागतो आणि त्याला एक युक्ती सुचते. त्या प्रमाणे तो ठरवतो कि शेतकऱ्याच्या प्रश्नाला सरकार जबाबदार आहे आणि त्यासाठी सरकारला शिक्षा झालीच पाहिजे. तो शिक्षा कशी करतो आणि त्याचे पुढे काय परिणाम होतात हे बघा "गोष्ट छोटी डोंगराएवढी" मध्ये.

सिनेमामध्ये राजाराम आणि नंदा हे दोन शेतकऱ्यांचे प्रतिनिधी, त्यांचे संवाद खूप विचार करण्याजोगे आहेत. सगळीकडे जो भ्रष्टाचार माजला आहे ते बघून मनाला खरच त्रास होतो. पण त्यांनी जे दाखवले आहे ते खुपच अतिशोयक्तिचे आहे असे वाटले. शेताकर्यांचा प्रश्न खरच आहे, पण त्यात शेतकर्यांची काहीच चुक नाहीये हे मनाला पटत नाही. सरकार भ्रष्ट झाले आहे हा खरा प्रश्न आहे. मुळातून आपल्या सगळ्याच लोकांची वृत्ती भ्रष्ट झाली आहे आणि कोणालाच ती स्वत बदलायची नाहीये तर दुसरे कोणीतरी त्याला कारण आहे असे सगळ्यांना वाटते तिथेच चूक आहे असे मला वाटते.

सिनेमाचा शेवट माझ्या मते खूपच फिल्मी झाला आहे. शहरातून गावात येणारी वैदेही सिनेमामध्ये कशाला आहे असा प्रश्न पडतो. मला तरी वाटत होते कि या सिनेमात खरच काही उत्तरे दिली असतील पण तसे माझ्या मते झाले नाहीये.

एकतर्फी का होईना शेतकऱ्यांचा प्रश्न इथे मांडला आहे त्यामुळे सिनेमा जरूर बघण्यासारखा आहे. विचार करण्याजोगा आहे.

Another good movie on Farmers problems in Marathi. Rajaram is a educated youth, looking for job. He plans to sell his farmland and pay bribe to get a job. His mother prevents him from doing that for good, as he later learns that he might get job for some time and then will be removed.

He decides to get back to farming. His fast friend Nanda is farming in the village. His family consists of old Mother, Sister, Wife and a Son. He is dreaming of marrying his sister off soon. He is waiting for his payment for cotton harvest for the government federation. The payment is always delayed.

The corruption on all levels is depicted in the movie. Nanda and Rajaram wanted to dig wells in the farm. Rajaram gets loan, since he has not taken any loan, but Nanda is rejected since his previous loan is not cleared. He is not able to pay back the loan, since his money is stuck with cotton federation. Rajaram gets loan in his hands, after a "cut" by bank officers. Once the well was ready, he needs to pay bribe for electricity connection, for which he is not left with money, since the bribe amount is unreasonably high.

Due to increasing burden of loan, Nanda commits suicide by consuming pesticides. The whole family is broken due to this incidence. The police demands bribe for even postmortem and handing over the body of dead man to the family. Few more incidences of suicides happen in the village and Rajaram decides to do something about it.

He tries working with NGO in his villages, but finally decides to take the matter in his own hands. After a lot of brainstorming, he decides to punish government for this. Interesting to see how he does it. The end of the movie is "masala". But still the movie is worth watching.

निशाणी डावा अंगठा (Nishani dawa anghatha)

महाराष्ट्रातील प्रौढ साक्षरता मोहिमेवर काढलेला एक फार्स म्हणजे "निशाणी डावा अंगठा". भिलाठाना (बुलढाणा) जिल्ह्यात असेलेले "सावरगाव" नावाचे एक गाव. तिथल्या शाळेचे मुख्याधापक राठोड, एक खूपच चतुर शिक्षक असतात. त्यांच्या शाळेत ६ स्त्री शिक्षिका व ६ पुरुष शिक्षक असतात. जेव्हा सरकारकडून साक्षरता मोहिमेबद्दल पत्र येते तेव्हा सगळे शिक्षक त्याचा जोरदार विरोध करतात. कारण या पत्रकाप्रमाणे शिक्षकांना शाळा संपल्यानंतर, रात्री पुन्हा ८ ते १० प्रौढ लोकांना शिकवण्याची ऑर्डर दिलेली असते. हि सगळ्याच शिक्षकांना "शिक्षा" वाटते. त्यामुळे काहीना काही तरी कारण काढून सगळेच शिक्षक त्या जबाबदारीपासून पळवाट काढतात.

साक्षरता मोहिमेवर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी जिल्हा, राज्य आणि केंद्र या स्तरांवर लोक नेमलेले असतात. जिल्हा स्तरावर काम करणाऱ्या शिक्षकांना शाळातून रजा देऊन काम कारणासाठी रात्र पाळीवर पाठवलेले असते. यात जे कार्यकर्ते असतात ते बर घरी बसल्या बसल्या पगार मिळेल आणि काम पण करायला नको या उद्देशाने यात पडतात. मग सुरु होते एक धमाल नाट्य. ज्यामध्ये लोक कसे रात्र शाळेत येत नाहीत, त्यांना कसे शिकणे महत्वाचे वाटत नाही, जेव्हा तपासणीची वेळ होते त्यावेळेस गावातील शिक्षक वेगवेगळ्या क्लुप्त्या काढून आपली कातडी कशी वाचवतात, याचे धमाल चित्रण बघायला मिळते. एकूण ३ वर्ष्यात एकही निरक्षर साक्षर होत नाही. साक्षरता मोहीम संपल्यानंतर एका वर्षभराने "सावरगाव"ला संपूर्ण साक्षरतेचे बक्षीस मिळते आणि सगळे गावकरी चकित होऊन जातात.

एकूण विनोदी चित्रपट आहे. सिनेमामध्ये सगळीच पात्र (बोकीलबाई सोडून) कामचुकार आहेत अस वाटत असत. शेवटी बोकीलबाई पण याच माळेतील एक मणी आहेत असे दिसून येते. तेव्हा मला स्वत:ला तरी खूप वाईट वाटले. निदान या सगळ्या लोकांमध्ये एकतरी सज्जन व्यक्ती असेल जिला खरच हि मोहीम फत्ते व्हावी असे वाटत असेल असे वाटत होते. पण छे तसे झालेच नाही. जेव्हा प्रौढ लोकांना तुम्ही शिका असा जेव्हा शिक्षक सांगतात, त्यावर प्रश्न म्हणून लोक म्हणतात, कि आम्ही आता ५० वर्ष्याचे झालो, शिकलो नाही म्हणून काय अडले, आता का शिकावे? हा प्रश्न खरच निरुत्तर करण्यासारखा आहे. लहानपणापासून न शिकता, आता वयाच्या ५० वर्षानंतर शिकून खरच काही उपयोग आहे का हा प्रश्न मला पण पडला आहे. तुमची या विषयावर मते अवश्य कळवा.

निर्मिती सावंत, मकरंद अनासपुरे आणि अशोक सराफ सर्वोत्तम. या तिघांचे विनोदाचे टाईमिंग अफलातून. मकरंद अनासपुरे, त्याची बोलण्याची पद्धत, त्याचे हावभाव फारच मस्त आहेत. मोहन आगाशे २ गोष्टी सांगताना एका गोष्टीतून दुसऱ्या गोष्टीतील पहिली गोष्ट कधी सांगतात ते कळत नाही, व त्यामुळे भरपूर करमणूक होते. सलील आणि संदीप चे संगीत खूपच श्राव्य. या सिनेमाबद्दल २ गोष्टी सांगायच्या आहेत. २ री गोष्ट म्हणजे हा सिनेमा आवर्जून बघावा आणि पहिली गोष्ट म्हणजे या सिनेमामध्ये आपल्या देश्यात कसे कुठलेही सरकारी काम धाब्यावर बसवले जाते आणि त्यात कसे पैसे खाल्ले जातात, हे विनोदातून सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे.

सिनेमा जरूर बघावा. सिनेमाच्या विषयावर, माझ्या परीक्षणावर तुमची मते जरूर लिहा. तुमच्या प्रतिक्रियांची अपेक्षा आहे.

This is a comedy film made on the adult literacy program by Indian government. Movie revolves around the theme of adult literacy program in a village and how teachers belonging to this task avoid the responsibility.

In a village named Savargaon in Buldhana district, a letter from government arrives and the Principal of the school is taken aback. Because this letter says that all the teachers have to do the extra duty everyday from 8 to 10 PM after the school working hours which is 10AM to 5PM. All the teachers oppose this decision. But its an order from government, so nothing can be done. So they try to falsify the teaching program. The program is hierarchy based. Many official at district, State level supervises the program. Whenever they visit the village, teachers find some ideas to save their skin. Everyone knows that program is not going well. At the end, government official from central government visit the village to find out how the program is going on. This time all the teachers with other officials’ consent impress the central government officer and prove that the literacy program was successful. After a year this village, receives an award for the excellent work in the literacy program. The entire resident in the village are surprised to hear this, because this program was in fact a total failure.

This is really a good movie. But it is really a agony to see how the government program implemented in India. Really feel sad after seeing such a truth, though this truth might be exaggerated. All the characters in this movie have performed very well. Music by Sandeep and Saleel is best as always.

ख़बरदार (Khabardar)

"खबरदार" नावाच्या एका वृत्तपत्रात "भरत एक महत्वाचा पत्रकार म्हणून नोकरी करत असतो. त्याचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे सगळ्या बातम्यांची खबर त्याला इतर लोकांच्या आधीच मिळते कारण त्याचे खबरे सगळीकडे पसरलेले असतात. गौरी शारन्गपुरे ही खबरदारची मालकीण असते, तिला भरत बद्दल पूर्णपणे खात्री असते. पण उगाच मालकीण असल्याचा तोरा दाखवायचा म्हणून ती उगाचच भारतवर डाफरत असते. याचा भरतला कंटाळा येतो आणि तो गौरी शारन्गपुरे ला धडा शिकवायचा म्हणून नोकरीवरून राजीनामा देतो.

त्याच गावात अण्णा चीमोरे म्हणून एक प्रख्यात गुंड असतो. अचानक भारतला त्याच्या पळून जाण्याच्या प्लानबद्दल खबर मिळते. या सनसनाटी खबरेबद्दल खबरदारला कळते आणि मग सुरु होते धमाल. भरतचा, मारुती कांबळे नावाचा एक मित्र असतो तो कसा या अण्णा चीमोरे च्या बातमीत गोवला जातो, त्याला भरत कशी मदत करतो, गौरी कशी या सगळ्या बातमीचा आपल्या वृत्तपत्राला फायदा होईल याची चिंता करते आणि त्यासाठी कसे वाटेल ते प्रयत्न करते हे बघा "खबरदार" मध्ये.

सिनेमा एकदमच रेफ्रेशिंग आहे. मजेशीर सिनेमा आहे. त्यातील विनोद निखळ आनंद देऊन जातात. मकरंद अनासपुरे एका राजकारण्याच्या भूमिकेत आहे, त्याच्या भूमिकेतील विनोद पण बघण्यासारखा आहे. निर्मिती सावंत तर अफलातून. ती सगळ्याच भूमिकेचे चीज करते. विनोदी सिनेमा आवडत असल्यास अगदी जरून बघा.

Bharat (Bharat Jadhav)is a key journalist with the daily "Khabardar", which is always super-fast newspaper to publish most of the news, specially thrilling ones. Gauri Shrungarpure (Nirmiti Sawant), the owner of the daily is very proud of her newspaper and wants to maintain its status. Bharat is aware of his key position and expects a respect for this. He has ability to get almost any news before anyone else with his managerial skills, his daredevil nature and public relations.

Anna Chimbori (Vinay Apte) is a underworld Don. He is caught by police and Bharat manages to get secret news of his plan of absconding. By accident he meets Maruti Kamble (Sanjay Narvekar), who is a straight forward god fearing truck driver.

Makarand Anaspure is a corrupt politician who is suppurating Anna, and hides him is his farm house. Maruti Kambale reaches the farm house to transport stuff and sees Anna there. Remaining storyline needs to be watched to enjoy it.

Very nice comedy of recent times with Bharat, Sanjay, Nirmiti, Makarand together. If you like comedies, a must watch movie.
